00:01some people have seen videos of the enzyme mask and it looks scary it's not comfortable but think
00:09of it as a snake shedding its skin I watched a few videos about the enzyme treatment mask and it
00:19looks a little bit scary but I thought it was exciting and the results that I saw were really
00:25good I'm Anna and I'm getting an enzyme treatment done today I've been living in Los Angeles for 12
00:31years I work in news and as you guys all know news can be a little bit shocking so I
00:37have a really
00:38animated face where I'm like oh my god all day long so that's why I do think taking care of
00:42my
00:43skin is really important I want to get an enzyme mask done today because I love facials and I
00:51definitely definitely want to get rid of any fine lines and I love anything that's rejuvenating and
00:58that's just gonna make me look better not everyone is suitable for skin revision I call it skin boot
01:05camp if people are willing to commit I am for them I am Sandra and I am a paramedical skin
01:12revision
01:13specialist at ultimate skincare and Beverly Hills the best way to describe what I do is I change skin
01:20from the outside in the MK saved my skin I'm living proof that it works I'm not nervous about getting
01:32a facial with Sandra right now because I know that she has taken the proper protocol to ensure my safety
01:39as well as her own I always keep a sterile environment I have a sterilizer that I sterilize all my
01:45tools and
01:46my equipment especially now during COVID and taking the extra steps to wear disposable gown and goggles and a mask
01:57instead of only sanitizing my room I keep everything nice and clean so that my guests feel safe to be
02:06here
02:10first I will lay Anna down on the bed we have already discussed her concerns and I will be giving
02:18her my input
02:19after I see her skin without makeup
02:29we will remove the makeup with an oil cleanser and after removing makeup I will do a second
02:37second cleanse which will cleanse the skin
02:53after cleansing I'll proceed to apply an enzyme exfoliant which will hydrolyze the dead cell material and I
03:03will add some of our melanotech drops which are melanin inhibitors and will help with the pigmentation on her forehead
03:28after exfoliating with the enzyme we will occlude the face and neck and decollete with some cling wrap and hot
03:40towels
03:40and this will infuse the product and deeper into the skin
03:59after I remove the towel occlusion I will blot off the excess not wipe it off not wash it off
04:05because I want it under the mask and then we will be applying our enzyme one mask
04:29the mask is applied starting at the decollete go up to the shoulders and all the way up to the
04:36forehead
04:49the mask goes on creamy like pancake batter and it smells like pancakes and as it dries it hardens like
05:00cement and they won't be able to move and they shouldn't move because we want the mask to be as
05:06as it's intact without being tempered with
05:29you will feel pulsating kind of like a heartbeat on your face
05:35this is because the enzyme is activating the capillaries and expanding them so that we can get fresh oxygen into
05:43the skin so the pulsating is that lymphatic system being stimulated with the pressure and the movement of the enzyme
05:50mask
05:54the reactions to the enzyme mask are different for everyone as soon as you start to stimulate the cells there's
06:02an entire factory of cells working together to make your skin function properly
06:33after 45 minutes I will remove it
06:35I will remove it with warm water and hot towels
06:42and the final step which is the absolute most important step is sunscreen
06:49even if it's a cloudy day or it's raining or the sun is setting never leave the house without sunscreen
07:08I'm not gonna lie it's a bit red I'm a little in shock
07:12as the mask hardened it put pressure on all the limbs there's extra oxygen running through your veins right now
07:19so you're getting a whole lymphatic flush
07:22so how long are the little red things gonna last?
07:26they'll be gone by the time you get dressed and go
07:30going into the treatment I knew it was gonna get hard but I didn't realize how hard and trapped I
07:36would feel inside of the mask
07:37I kind of felt like a pound of eggshells was on top of me and I wanted to like pick
07:42my way out but I couldn't move
07:45I just had the enzyme treatment an hour ago and so far I have positive results
07:52I know when I took off the mask I was super red however the redness has gone away
07:56my skin feels softer and it doesn't feel as oily
08:00everything has penetrated nicely and I think I look good
08:03Anna was such an easy amazing guest
08:08she did an amazing job at not tampering with the enzyme mask which is so amazing
08:16because most people can't lay there for 45 minutes without moving
08:20it was great working with Sandra I really loved it because she's really easy to get along with
08:25and she explained everything and she just made me feel very comfortable
08:32so one thing I want to maintain is wearing non-chemical sunscreen
08:37it's really important for what Sandra has already done to my skin
08:41I had really uneven tone up here from a sunburn a long time ago that has never
08:45quite healed and it does look a lot better
08:48I would definitely recommend this procedure to someone else
08:52especially if you're looking for something a little bit different
08:56and if you like to be cooped up in a little cocoon
