00:00Today is all about puppy.
00:03This afternoon I hung out with Katie Storino, the owner of Toast, Muppet, and Underpants.
00:09And each dog has her own unique personality and her own Instagram account to go along with it.
00:14I am the doggager for Underpants, Toast, and Muppet.
00:18I manage their careers and like their brands, and I write and post and take all the photos.
00:23All three are puppy mill rescues and Katie is a huge advocate for hashtag adopt, don't shop.
00:32Puppy mills are like commercial breeding facilities for puppies for pet stores.
00:37They send the babies out too soon, they don't really get what they need from their mom.
00:42My big thing is when someone comes up to me on the street and says,
00:44I didn't know what a puppy mill was, I almost bought a dog from a pet store, I didn't, I
00:49adopted because of you.
00:50Katie and I took the girls on a walk.
00:54I'm gonna start a live video.

00:56So we can talk to some of their fans.
00:57So I know some dog moms who have like an editorial calendar, they've got it all planned out,
01:04they have professional equipment, they have like, they know how to like produce videos,
01:08and I'm still just like shooting with my iPhone.
01:11I try to keep it really organic.
01:14I like to do a video when I have something going on with them.

01:21Toast is the diva, obviously.
01:24Muppet is not famous.
01:26It's funny because people are like, oh, Toast is so famous because of her tongue,
01:29but Muppet actually has the same tongue condition, but no one cares.
01:34Underpants is pretty new, got her a year and a half ago, and she's just all about getting fame in
01:41America.

01:44This is the glamorous part of dog-a-drew life.

01:47And then we spent some time in our New York City apartment, hanging out together and taking photos of them.

01:55Toast frequently takes walks to get some space.

02:04Guys, this is how easy it is to get Toast to go to sleep.
02:08When I tuck her hands up like this, and then I just go under the blankets, creepy a rubber tummy,
02:15and then she falls asleep.
02:25The dogs always are invited to do really fun, crazy things.
02:29We're invited by fancy hotels to go have these, like, vacations and stays, and they're both wearing, like, custom Ralph
02:35Lauren cashmere sweaters.
02:37But I'm also a body positive blogger.
02:40My blog's called The 12ish Style, so I essentially split time between doing the dog stuff and doing the 12ish
02:47style.
02:48Like, the dogs keep me very humble because the dogs are way more famous than I am.
02:52A brand will contact me, but they want to work with the dog, but they don't want to work with
02:55me.
02:56A lot of people approach me and ask, how do I make my dog famous on the internet?
03:00I always say, and this is very controversial, don't.
03:04It's very time consuming.
03:05I am a firm believer that if you don't have a specific or a different point of view at this
03:11point, it's not going to happen.
03:13The market is saturated.
03:14So, of course, even though I'm telling you this is not worth your time, this was the absolute most amazing
03:20thing to happen to me.
03:21I got to write a book.
03:23We have gotten to be on Good Morning America.
03:28This looks like a green screen.
03:30It is.
03:31Oh.
03:33She was not on a real private jet.
03:36She's only been in first class.
03:38She hasn't flown private yet, which is real travesty.
03:42We've done so many crazy things.
03:45I mean, Toast was a model for Karen Walker on posters up all over the world.
03:50Right now, she's on billboards for rescue all over the country.
03:54You know, we foster dogs and they get adopted in, like, a day.
03:57So, like, there's all this, this really special stuff that we get to do because they are famous.
