00:01Hi, I'm Noelle Downing,

00:05Well, it really is five flights of stairs.

00:15Come on in.
00:20So our rent is $4,200.
00:23We live in a four-bedroom apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn,
00:26and I live here with my fiancee, Danny,
00:28and our bunny, Monty, and our mother.
00:29We're a Fox Terrier, Duke.
00:31I am a lifestyle and fashion blogger full-time,
00:34and shooting my apartment is something
00:36that is very important to me.
00:37I really created different areas
00:40that were really great for photos.
00:42My personal style is normally a lot of, like,
00:44vintage elements, quirky elements,
00:46color elements of life and of nature.
00:49My favorite thing is my friend, Rachel Evanishin,
00:53gave me this, like, Duke art.
00:55I always think if a fire happened,
00:57what's something that I would grab?
00:58Obviously, I would grab Duke,
00:59and then I would grab this on the way out
01:01because it's just so special to me,
01:03and I love it so much.
01:06Our bar cart is one of the things
01:08that I probably get asked about the most.
01:11Like, I feel like once people know it's from Target,
01:12they're like, oh, my God, can you send me a link?
01:14I have a ton of Moscow Mule stuff
01:16because that is probably my favorite of every drink.
01:19I love Moscow Mule so much.
01:21Then the sofa, love it,
01:23but it was the biggest slurge in the entire apartment.
01:26We got it before we knew that we were going to adopt a dog,
01:29and three months later, we adopted Duke.
01:31Duke!
01:32Duke!
01:32And Duke loves to play.
01:35It doesn't really bother me that Duke messed it up,
01:37and I could easily get it fixed, but I haven't.
01:40Whoop!
01:41And there goes the hamburger.
01:46Oh, my God.
01:48If you look over here, you can see the kitchen,
01:51which I love that the space is so open,
01:53and the living room kind of connects with the kitchen.
01:56This past year, we've honestly been so busy
01:59that one of the best ways for us to spend time together
02:01at the end of the day is making dinner together.
02:04Danny's, like, the designated vegetable chopper.
02:06It's now one of our favorite things that we do
02:08at the end of the day,
02:09and it's something that we look forward to every week.
02:12We spend the most time down here,
02:14but I want to take you guys upstairs.
02:17I can't wait to show you all of it.
02:18Let's go.
02:22You have made it into the guest room.
02:25This room is the epitome of winter for me.
02:28I just love winter.
02:30Honestly, I love cabins.
02:31I love going upstate,
02:32and that was really what I tried to do here
02:35was make it like I had a little slice of upstate
02:37in my apartment.
02:38This room has turned into Duke's room
02:40because that's how spoiled of a dog he is.
02:42When we're all ready for bed,
02:43you'll literally hear him, like,
02:45slowly go up the stairs.
02:46He literally just goes to sleep on this entire bed
02:48all to himself.
02:49But enough of this room.
02:51I'm gonna take you to the next.
02:54You are now in what is my closet room.
02:58For what I do, I change all the time.
03:01Truly.
03:01That's not even an exaggeration.
03:03And I needed a room to fit all my clothes in.
03:06I have my shoes here.
03:08All my purses.
03:09This is all my dresses.
03:11There's a lot.
03:12Over there is all of my shirts.
03:15Sweaters are my everything.
03:17All my T-shirts over here.
03:18This is, like, jeans and shorts.
03:20This is honestly never neat,
03:22but people are always fascinated by it.
03:24It has helped me so much with not having clothes everywhere.
03:27They're condensed to one room.
03:28It feels so good.
03:29Now that you've seen the closet room,
03:30I'm gonna take you into our office,
03:32which is where Danny and I get most of our work done,
03:34and it's typically everyone's favorite room.
03:38You are now in the room that everyone says is their favorite,
03:42and I have no idea why,
03:43but it is Danny's favorite.
03:45And when we moved into this apartment,
03:47one of his biggest requests was to have a really long desk.
03:50We got these two desks from West Elm
03:52and put them together,
03:53and Danny loves them, and I'm so happy about it.
03:56I honestly spend a crazy amount of hours in here,
04:00just doing emails, editing photos,
04:03editing video, posting things on social,
04:06so many things all day long.
04:08It's really important to me
04:09to be able to have the balance of working up here
04:12and then going downstairs
04:13and being able to forget about it all and let loose.
04:16I'm gonna take you back downstairs now
04:18so you can see our bedroom.
04:24You are now in our bedroom,
04:27which is also where little Monty lives.
04:29Our bunny, we've had him for about four years now,
04:34and he's now seven,
04:35and it honestly gets, his hay gets everywhere,
04:38and it can get really messy, but he is worth it.
04:41My little baby.
04:43In our other apartment,
04:43we actually used to have a ton of hats,
04:46and I really decided to tone it down in this apartment
04:49because I wanted this to be the grown-up hat wall.
04:52I wanted this room to be a calming room in the apartment.
04:56Having it condensed to one smaller wall
04:59made everything just breathe a lot more.
05:01One thing in our bedroom that is really, really special to me
05:04is this drawing that my mom did.
05:07Both of my parents passed away when I was younger,
05:10and having something that my mom created
05:13is really, really special to me.
05:14Whenever I see it, I think of her,
05:16and it was actually in our entryway growing up,
05:19so it kind of makes me think of seeing it as a kid
05:22and when my whole family was together,
05:24and it's really special to me every time I look at it.
05:27Thank you so much for watching and coming along.
05:29I had such a good time taking you through every room
05:32and sharing all the little details with you.
05:34Unfortunately, it is now time to say goodbye.
05:37Let me walk you to the door.
05:39Thank you guys so much for stopping by
05:41on my Refinery29 Sweet Digs.
05:44I hope to see you soon.
05:45Bye!
