00:09YouTube and today we are so excited to share with you our loft space that we
00:13work and film out of. And I live there so things get complicated but I can fill you

00:37This office work place is located at the north side of Toronto. We work here and I
00:43also happen to live here up in the mezzanine. It costs us about two grand a
00:47month and that's about 1,500 US. It used to be an industrial building so you know
00:54this kitchen was not always here and actually the appliances we had to like
00:57buy when we moved in. Yeah. There wasn't a lot of room for like pots and stuff so we
01:01actually did this half with the bar and you can hang up your pots. At first I was
01:05like this is cluttered but now I love it. It's like kitchen art. This is really cool.
01:10This is the knife magnet. Yeah I actually hated this when I moved in. I especially
01:14hated that it was on an angle. I was like why is this here but everybody always
01:17comes over and they're like where'd you get it? That's so cool. I love it. Now you start to own
01:21it you're like yeah I put that up. It looks great. Yeah but I'm like why did I put it
01:24up
01:24on an angle? So right behind us is the actual washroom in here and fun fact this is the
01:30only room in this studio that has a door on it. Yeah. We actually did a video where
01:35we tested out plants surviving in a room with zero windows and surprisingly a lot of
01:39them lived. I don't know how. Science I don't understand. Over here we actually have this
01:43ladder which I know looks like beautiful decor but we actually built this ladder
01:46to get up to our storage area. A lot of big things have to go up there and of
01:50course we had to make it cute at the same time. So next we'll go under the
01:53mezzanine. This is kind of multi-use purposes storage. There's a filming space but
01:56we'll get to that. Come on. So welcome to underneath the mezzanine. I think that's
02:02what we're gonna call it. That'd be a great club name. We actually have strip
02:05lights up here. You can kind of give it like a club atmosphere. Under the mezzanine.
02:10Or not. Or not. We also filmed some videos under here when we need the seamless backdrops.
02:16Work. Work. I think we got it. This seamless we don't even own because we have not yet bought
02:21our own seamless paper. We can't decide on what color to get. You have any ideas on
02:25what color we should get? You can tell us. Also over here we have this amazing storage
02:28system that holds basically everything we need it to. So come with us and we'll show
02:32you what that's like. Here we have our cabinets. We love these. I think they look like they came
02:37at the loft but they didn't. And they look like they're super expensive but they weren't.
02:40It works because it's by the front door so you can like drop the supplies for a future video
02:44in here and we can sort them all. I also have Justin under here who's working away on some edits.

02:54Over here is the main film set. We film pretty much the bulk of it here. This is our workbench.
03:01It's been a little beat up. We sand it and reseal it you know over and over so that it
03:05looks as
03:06fresh as it can. Any tool that you could ever need to do anything exists in these drawers. This is
03:12actually a kitchen cabinet system from Ikea but we hacked it and stacked it so that it all fits
03:17together really nicely. And this is where we film all our videos. This has the best light. We have lots
03:23of windows so I mean perfect. And if you follow us over here this is the most officey part of
03:30the
03:30office. A lot of this art was sent in to us by viewers that watch our channel and this wall
03:35also
03:35has our play buttons. This one we got first when we hit a hundred thousand and this one we got
03:39just
03:40last year when we hit a million which is it's a crazy moment. And then our vlog channel also hit
03:44a hundred thousand. I was even more excited to get this one. Me too. Yes. When it's the vlog channel
03:48it's
03:48your life and you're just doing it really really really for fun and you're like well whatever happens happens.
03:52Seriously. Hey guys it's Tuesday and we are actually in the middle of a live shoot right now.
03:58We're shooting this refinery 29 and they're doing a little tour of our space. People actually like
04:03it and it's so cool. It's been such a fun journey of growth. All right let's bring you over to
04:08the
04:08living room. So this is the living room area. I guess it's more so your living room area but it
04:14is full of
04:15lots of DIYs that we've made. This plant stand is a little upcycle. This plant shelf I think it's a
04:20really
04:21interesting design tip to bring your couch just a little bit away from the wall so it doesn't feel
04:24like everything's crammed in there. Probably one of the oldest DIYs that's in here currently I think
04:30is this blanket ladder. That's right we do have two DIY ladders in here. So although the living room is
04:36kind of shared a little bit of mine a little bit of the story girls what's really mine is the
04:39bedroom
04:40and that's on the mezzanine upstairs so come follow me and I'll show you that.
04:45Okay welcome to my bedroom this is my own little space within this loft. Everything I have is right
04:51here and it's kind of nice to see everything you own in one place. I guess I was kind of
04:56downsizing
04:57in a way. I know it seems weird because this place is huge. But anyways this is where I get
05:03ready. I
05:04don't get ready in the bathroom. I want anybody that walks into our loft to not be like whoa does
05:09somebody
05:09like live here. This is weird. Why is there a toothbrush in the bathroom? I want to be like
05:12this is our office. Look we're super professional and then I just like come up here to my little
05:17nest and hide away at the end of the day. Thought it'd be cool to add more plants. It's never
05:20a bad
05:21idea is to add more plants. We made this planter on the other side as you would have seen downstairs
05:26there's all the hanging plants. Well this is where they're hanging from. We also have a DIY plant stand,
05:31DIY side tables. DIY is a part of me and it just comes out in every way possible. Once you
05:37know that
05:37you can make something and you can make it your own you can customize it you kind of just can't
05:40let that go and then everything you do has to be customized a little bit because you know that
05:45you can make it or make it better. Now that you've seen my bedroom let's go back downstairs and join
05:49up the thing. We've had so much fun showing you our space. I hope you enjoyed it. There's a lot
