00:03Hi, everyone. Welcome back. Today's episode is going to be really fun because I have Jen and Olivia here from
00:10Twofold LA, and they're going to help me fix my problematic area in the house, which is this bookshelf. Take
00:16it in. It's a mess. This is totally fixable, though, right? Totally. We'll get everything organized for you, and it'll
00:24be looking great. Amazing. Let's get started.
00:54Oh, my God, you guys. This looks amazing.
00:58Before, it was really just cluttered and unorganized.
01:01We always recommend taking all of your stuff off the bookcase and prioritizing what you want to keep and what
01:07you don't. Things that you want to keep that you maybe don't want to put on display, you can buy
01:11these great natural woven baskets.
01:14We also put baskets up on the top where you can store some of your other items that maybe you
01:19don't need to access every single day.
01:20Yeah, because I have tons of products that I need to use up in the future, so this is a
01:25great place to organize them all.
01:27Also, in order to sort of bring some dimension, we've placed a lot of the books vertically and horizontally. It
01:33gives a great visual overall.
01:35And also, we color-coordinated most of our books. Here we've got the red, orange, yellow, green.
01:41What, it's like Roy G. Biv, right?
01:44Yeah, absolutely.
01:45But that just sort of gives it a little bit of an artistic detail to your bookcase.
01:49Then we wanted to make sure to display a lot of the items that you've already started to collect that
01:54were great.
01:54So you can use those on different shelves to break up the books.
01:58We found some of these decorative bookends at HomeGoods.
02:02We got this great Lucite J.
02:04You can use decorative bowls to put some of your statement jewelry.
02:08And then, of course, make sure to display personal touches like framed photos.
02:11And then lastly, add a little bit of organic detail.
02:14It sort of livens up a bookcase.
02:17And obviously, you've got greenery around.
02:19You just want to sort of bring the outside in.
02:21Seriously, I feel like those flowers have just like breathed new life to this shelf.
02:25It's beautiful. And it smells good. I can smell it from here. It's very fragrant.
