00:14In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Peace be with you.
00:20We acknowledge our sins. We acknowledge God with us in darkness and in light, in hope, and in other times.
00:28Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins,
00:38and lead us into healing and life. Let us pray.
00:44It's your favor, O Lord, to your servants, and mercifully increase the gifts of your grace, that may fervent in
00:51hope, faith, and charity.
00:53They may be ever watchful in keeping your commands.
00:56Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
01:02God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:13A reading from the prophet Jeremiah.
01:16Come back, disloyal children. It is the Lord who speaks. For I alone am your Master.
01:24I will take one from a town, two from a clan, and bring you to Zion.
01:31I will give you shepherds after my own heart, and these shall feed you on knowledge and discretion.
01:38And when you have increased and become many in the land, then it is the Lord who speaks.
01:45No one will ever say again, where is the ark of the covenant of the Lord?
01:50There will be no thought of it, no memory of it, no regret for it, no making of another.
01:57When that time comes, Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord.
02:03All the nations will gather there in the name of the Lord, and will no longer follow the dictates of
02:10their own stubborn parts.
02:13The word of the Lord.
02:15Thanks be to God.
02:17The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
02:21The Lord will guide us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
02:24O nations, hear the word of the Lord.
02:27Proclaim it to the far-off coasts.
02:30Say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and guard him as a shepherd guards his flock.
02:37The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
02:41For the Lord has ransomed Jacob, has saved him from an overpowering hand.
02:47They will come and shout for joy on Mount Zion.
02:50They will stream to the blessings of the Lord.
02:54The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
02:58Then the young girls will rejoice and dance.
03:01The men, young and old, will be glad.
03:04I will turn their mourning into joy.
03:06I will console them, give gladness for grief.
03:10The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
03:15Alleluia.
03:16Alleluia, alleluia.
03:19Happy are they who have kept the word with a generous heart and yield a harvest through perseverance.
03:26Alleluia.
03:35The Lord be with you.
03:36And with your spirit.
03:38A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
03:41What are you?
03:43Jesus said to his disciples,
03:47You are to hear the parable of the sower.
03:51When anyone hears the word of the kingdom without understanding it,
03:56the evil one comes and carries off what they have sown in their heart.
04:01That is the one who receives the seed on the edge of the path.
04:05The one who received it on patches of rock is the one who hears the word and welcomes it at
04:13once with joy,
04:14but he has no root in them.
04:16They do not lust.
04:18Let some trial come or some persecution on account of the word.
04:24And he falls away at once.
04:27The one who received the seed in thorns is the one who hears the word.
04:31But the worries of this world, the lure of riches, choke the word.
04:37And so they produce nothing.
04:40And the one who received the seed in rich soil is the one who hears the word and understands it.
04:47They are the one who yield the harvest and produce now a hundredfold, now sixty, now thirty.
04:56The Gospel of the Lord.
04:59Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:05Trials and temptations are part of life.
05:07And that's why we need that constant and that anchor in our life.
05:13And the anchor is the trust in God, despite the circumstances we find ourselves in.
05:21That God is bigger than all put together.
05:26And the crucifixion reminds us that it is not the end of the story.
05:31The resurrection is actually what comes and fulfills all the trials, all the difficulties, all the pain.
05:42But the resurrection has its impact even now, knowing that somehow in the middle of it all, God turns everything
05:51to good.
05:52So we hold on to that promise and that reality, even when we cannot see clearly ahead what is to
05:59come.
06:00We trust because of a promise made by one who can never tell lies.
06:05We trust, even though we are not capable at particular moments, to grasp the full meaning and understanding of all
06:13that there is happening around us.
06:16We trust, knowing He will never let us down.
06:45We trust, knowing He will never let us down.
06:49Our goodness, we have this bread to offer, which earth has given, human hands have made, will become for us
06:55the bread of life.
06:56So we go further.
07:18Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
07:39Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our almighty Father.
07:45May the Lord accept this sacrifice at our hands, for the praise and glory of God's name, for our good
07:52and the good of God's holy church.
07:55O God, who in the one perfect sacrifice brought to completion, varied offerings of the law, accept and pray this
08:03sacrifice from your faithful servants and make it holy as you bless the gifts of Abel, so that what each
08:09has offered to your honour may benefit the salvation of all.
08:14Through Christ our Lord.
08:16Amen.
08:20The Lord be with you.
08:22Lift up your hearts.
08:24Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:27It is truly right and just, our beauty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Father most
08:34holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, your word through whom you made all things, whom you sent as our
08:42Saviour and Redeemer.
08:43Amen.
08:44Incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin, fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people,
08:50he stretched out his hands as he endured his passion, so as to break the bonds of death and manifest
08:56the resurrection.
08:57And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we acclaim, Holy,
09:04Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory, Hosanna in the highest.
09:11Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest.
09:17You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
09:20Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like did you for, so that
09:26they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:30At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread and giving thanks, broke it
09:37and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my
09:44body, which will be given up for you.
09:52In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, he gave it
09:58to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my
10:04blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be pulled out for you and for many for
10:11the forgiveness of sins.
10:13Do this in memory of me.
10:21The mystery of faith, we proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
10:32Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and
10:38the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your life.
10:43I pray for your presence and minister to you, humbly, we pray, that partaking of the body and blood of
10:48Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:52Remember, Lord, your church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo, our
10:59Pope, meet your unworthy servant and holy clergy.
11:03Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection.
11:12And all who have died in your mercy, welcome them into the light of your face.
11:19Have mercy on us all, we pray.
11:24That with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, blessed Joseph Sparks, and the blessed apostles, and all the saints
11:31who have preached you throughout the ages, we may urge you to be coerced to eternal life, and may praise
11:37and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:43Through him and with him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father, in the unity of the
11:47Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours forever and ever. Amen.
11:54At the Savior's command and form a divine teaching, we dare to say, our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed
12:02be thy name.
12:03Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
12:08Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
12:15And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:19Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
12:22Graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin
12:28and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
12:35For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
12:41Lord Jesus Christ, who has said to your apostles, peace I leave you, and my peace I give you.
12:46Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church.
12:49And graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.
12:56Amen.
12:56The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
13:00Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
13:02Peace be with you.
