00:14In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:18Peace be with you.
00:20We acknowledge our sins, more importantly the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:27Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.
00:34May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:43Let us pray.
00:49Almighty ever-living God, increase our faith, hope, and charity,
00:53and make us love what you demand, so that we may merit what you promise.
00:58Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit.
01:05God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:14A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians.
01:18From Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus, together with their presiding elders
01:29and deacons,
01:30we wish you the grace and peace of God our Father, and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
01:37I thank my God whenever I think of you, and every time I pray for all of you, I pray
01:45with joy,
01:47remembering how you have helped to spread the good news from the day you first heard it right up to
01:55the present.
01:56I am quite certain that the one who began this good work in you will see that it is finished
02:03when the day of Christ Jesus comes.
02:06It is only natural that I should feel like this towards you all, since you have shared the privileges which
02:15have been mine.
02:21You have a permanent place in my heart, and God knows how much I miss you all, loving you as
02:31Christ Jesus loves you.
02:33My prayer is that your love for each other may increase more and more, and never stop improving your knowledge
02:44and deepening your perception,
02:47so that you can always recognize what is best.
02:51This will help you to become pure and blameless and prepare you for the day of Christ,
03:00when you will reach the perfect goodness which Christ Jesus produces in us for the glory and praise of God.
03:09The Word of the Lord.
03:13Thanks be to God.
03:16How great are the works of the Lord! How great are the works of the Lord!
03:21I will thank the Lord with all my heart in the meeting of the just and their assembly.
03:26Great are the works of the Lord, to be pondered by all who love them.
03:31How great are the works of the Lord!
03:34Majestic and glorious His work, His justice stands firm forever.
03:39He makes us remember His wonders, the Lord's compassion and love.
03:44How great are the works of the Lord!
03:47He gives food to those who fear Him.
03:50He keeps His covenant ever in mind.
03:52He has shown His might to His people by giving them the lands of the nations.
03:59How great are the works of the Lord!
04:02Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
04:04My sheep listen to my voice, says the Lord.
04:07I know them and they follow me. Hallelujah!
04:12The Lord be with you. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to me.
04:19On a Sabbath day, Jesus had gone for a meal to the house of one of the leading Pharisees.
04:25And they washed him closely.
04:29There in front of them was a man with dropship.
04:33And Jesus addressed the lawyers and Pharisees.
04:36Is it against the law?
04:37He asked to cure a man on the Sabbath or not.
04:43But they remained silent.
04:45So He took the man and cured him and sent him away.
04:48Then He said to them,
04:51Which of you here, if their son falls into a well,
04:55Or his ox will not pull them out on the Sabbath day without hesitation?
05:01And to this they could find no answer.
05:05The Gospel of the Lord.
05:07Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:15Laws are important.
05:20The commandments of God are a bit like when someone goes to the doctor.
05:26And the doctor says,
05:28Ooh, your cholesterol is a bit high, your blood pressure, we better watch it.
05:32So avoid this and avoid that and do that.
05:36Are those proscriptions, are those telling the person,
05:40What to do or else?
05:41No.
05:42It's medicinal.
05:44And the commandments of God are to guide us how to be fully human.
05:47Fully ourselves.
05:49They are not dead ends.
05:51They are not legalisms.
05:53And the Sabbath, of course, was meant to be a day of contemplation and prayer.
05:57We must continue doing that.
06:00But they had turned it into a legalistic situation where it had over-exaggerated what needed to be said.
06:07And even when something good was being done on the Sabbath, they forbade it.
06:12So, the reminder is, yes, we need to follow.
06:16As Jesus said, the commandments are very important.
06:18We cannot ignore them.
06:20But they are all about love.
06:22They are about relationship with God, who we are called to love with our whole heart, mind, body and soul.
06:29And our neighbor, who we are called to love as ourselves.
06:38Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
06:41For to your goodness we have this bread to offer which God has given, human hands have made.
06:45It will become for us the bread of life.
06:48Blessed be God forever.
06:50Blessed be God forever.
06:50Amen.
06:57Amen.
07:00Amen.
07:00Amen.
07:08Amen.
07:10Amen.
07:13Amen.
07:17Amen.
07:18Blessed be God forever.
07:28Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
07:35May the Lord accept this sacrifice at our hands for the praise and glory of God's name for our good
07:41and the good of God's holy church.
07:46Lord, we pray, Luke, we pray, O Lord, on the offerings we make to you, that whatever is done by
07:54us in your service may be directed above all to your glory.
07:58Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
08:05The Lord be with you.
08:07Lift up your hearts.
08:09Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:13It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation.
08:16Always and every word to give you thanks, Father most holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
08:23Your word, to whom you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer, incarnate by the Holy
08:29Spirit and born of the Virgin.
08:32Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as he endured his passion,
08:38so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
08:43And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice, we are praying.
08:50Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of both.
08:53Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
08:56Hosanna in the highest.
08:58Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
09:01Hosanna in the highest.
09:03You are indeed holy, O Lord, the font of our holiness.
09:07Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall.
09:13So thank you to come for us, the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:18At the time he was betrayed, and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread, and giving thanks, broke it,
09:26and gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:28Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for
09:35you.
09:42In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, he gave it
09:48to his disciples, saying,
09:50Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of
09:56the new and eternal covenant,
09:58which will be pulled out for you, and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
10:04Do this in memory of me.
10:14The mystery of faith.
10:16We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
10:26Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
10:30we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
10:34giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:40Humbly we pray, that by taking of the body and blood of Christ,
10:44we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:48Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world,
10:51and bring her to the fullness of charity.
10:54Together with Leo, our Pope, me, your unworthy servant, and all the virgins.
11:01Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
11:07and all who have died in your mercy.
11:10Welcome them into the light of your face.
11:13Have mercy on us all, we pray,
11:16that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
11:19Blessed Joseph S. Parks,
11:20with the Blessed Apostles,
11:22and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
11:25we may merit to be coerced with another,
11:28and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:35Through him and with him and in him, O God, Almighty Father,
11:39in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
11:41all glory and honor is yours forever and ever.
11:45Amen.
11:47May the Savior's command and form my divine teaching be there to say,
11:51Our Father, who art in heaven,
11:55hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
11:58thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
12:01Give us this day our daily bread,
12:03and forgive us our trespasses,
12:05as we forgive those who trespass against us,
12:09and lead us not into temptation,
12:11but deliver us from evil.
12:14Deliver us, Lord, we pray,
12:15from every evil.
12:17Graciously grant peace in our days,
12:19that by the help of your mercy,
12:21we may be always free from sin
12:23and safe from all distress,
12:25as we await the blessed hope
12:26and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ,
12:30for the kingdom, the power,
12:31and the glory are yours,
12:33now and forever.
12:35Lord Jesus Christ,
12:36who said to your apostles,
12:38Peace I leave you,
12:39my peace I give you,
12:40look not on our sins,
12:42but on the faith of your Church,
12:44and graciously grant her peace and unity
12:46in accordance with your will,
12:48who live and reign forever and ever.
12:51Amen.
12:52The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ
12:54be with you always.
12:55Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:58Peace be with you all.
13:01Lamb of God,
13:03you take away the sins of the world.
13:05Have mercy on us.
13:07Lamb of God,
13:08you take away the sins of the world.
13:11Have mercy on us.
13:13Lamb of God,
13:13you take away the sins of the world.
13:16Grant us, please.
13:32Behold the Lamb of God,
13:33who takes away the sins of the world.
13:35Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
13:38Lord, I am not worthy,
13:40you should enter under my roof,
13:41but only say the word,
13:43and my soul shall be healed.
14:09Let us pray.
14:14May your sacraments, O Lord,
14:16we pray,
14:16perfect in us what lies within them,
14:19that what we now celebrate in signs
14:21we may one day possess in truth,
14:23through Christ our Lord.
14:24Amen.
14:25The Lord be with you.
14:27And may the peace and the blessing
14:28of the Father,
14:29and of the Son,
14:31and of the Holy Spirit
14:32come upon you
14:33and remain always with you.
14:35Let us go
14:36and proclaim the gospel.
14:39Thanks be to God,
14:40and God bless your name.
14:41God bless your name.
