00:38Bugs Bunny and Taz Timebusters
00:49Bugs Bunny and Taz Timebusters is an often forgotten platforming gem that perfectly captures the charm,
00:55the humor, and the chaotic energy of the Looney Tunes. With colorful worlds spanning different
01:00time periods, some clever puzzles, some memorable boss fights, and just the fun teamwork and
01:05banter between Bugs and Taz, it delivered an adventure that honestly still holds up in fans'
01:10memories today. A modern remake with updated visuals, smoother controls, and camera work,
01:16and heck, even some online co-op play would introduce a brand new generation to this classic,
01:21while giving longtime fans of the game the nostalgic revival they've been waiting for.
01:34Blasto.
01:42This wildly entertaining platforming action-adventure game is one that blends explosive action, quirky
01:49humor with some great one-liners and quips, and larger-than-life sci-fi charm into an unforgettable,
01:55if sometimes, yes, wonky experience. Packed with inventive weapons, colorful worlds,
02:00and the unmistakable voice performance of Phil Hartman, it captured a unique personality that,
02:06yeah, still stands out today. Go try it. A modern remake could transform its classic
02:11gameplay with stunning visuals, some smoother controls, expanded sci-fi levels, and more,
02:17basically just introducing a whole new generation to one of the PlayStation's most underrated heroes.
02:22While giving longtime fans of the game a blast from the past that they've been hoping for.
02:30Haha, piece of cake.
02:33Kingsley's Adventure.
02:44This is just one of those hidden gems that blended colorful platforming, lighthearted humor,
02:49and satisfying action into a charming fantasy adventure. Playing as the eponymous, courageous
02:55Kingsley, you explored vibrant fantasy medieval sort of kingdoms, solved clever puzzles, battled tons
03:01of quirky enemies, and uncovered secrets galore in a way that honestly felt reminiscent of something
03:07like The Legend of Zelda, with its mix of exploration, dungeon-like areas, and even item-based
03:12progression. While it carved out its own personality with whimsical characters and playful style, it's
03:18pretty easy to see why fans of 3D Zelda felt right at home here, despite this adventure being more
03:24platforming focused. A modern remake could introduce this forgotten classic to a whole new generation,
03:30with updated visuals, refined controls, and expanded fantasy worlds. While still preserving that special
03:36magic sauce that made it such a memorable adventure for those lucky enough to discover it for the first time
03:42back on the PS1.
03:53Much like Kingsley on his heroic quest, why not venture over towards our excellent Mojo Plays 24-7 gaming
04:00live stream via the QR code on screen, once you've wrapped up this fun PS1 platforming video.
04:06Jersey Devil
04:16Released for the original PlayStation, Jersey Devil is a charmingly spooky 3D platforming adventure
04:22that blends Halloween atmosphere, quirky humor, and creative level design into a memorable cult classic.
04:28Players guide the mischievous Jersey Devil through haunted villages, eerie castles, and monster-filled
04:33landscapes, collecting items and battling supernatural foes in a world that perfectly captures the spirit
04:39of classic Halloween adventures. While its ambitious gameplay was limited by the technology of its era,
04:46thus meaning it has plenty of flaws, a modern remake could hopefully refine the janky controls and
04:51camera, expand the imaginative Halloween-esque environments, and introduce this overlooked gem to a
04:57new breed of players. Jersey Devil remains a delightfully creepy platformer, flaws, faults, and all,
05:03that's especially fun to experience during the autumn or Halloween season.
05:16Disney's Hercules
05:27Released back in 1997, Disney's Hercules for the PlayStation remains one of the most entertaining
05:33licensed platformers of its era, blending fast-paced action, clever level design, and the humor of the
05:39animated film into one memorable adventure. Its standout feature, of course, if you can't already
05:45tell from the gameplay on screen, was the game's unique visual style, combining hand-drawn sprite
05:50animation with colorful cartoony 3D environments that honestly gave it the look of a living animated
05:56movie. It's awesome, a style that still feels charming today. A remade version could preserve that timeless
06:02Disney aesthetic, while adding smoother controls, some more robust levels using that 3D style, and
06:08heightened graphical immersion, introducing a new generation to Hercules' mythic journey, while still
06:13giving longtime fans of this game something to look forward to.
06:25Toy Story 2 Buzz Lightyear to the rescue
06:37So do you want a classic platforming adventure that perfectly captures the magic of the Toy Story movies?
06:43While delivering fun exploration, clever level design, and memorable collectibles?
06:47Playing as Buzz Lightyear, you blasted enemies, searched for pizza planet tokens, and explored oversized
06:53and larger-than-life environments that made everyday locations kind of feel like epic playgrounds for
06:59fun and imaginative gameplay scenarios. It just had that unmistakable late 90s charm, rewarding curiosity
07:06and making every level worth revisiting. A newly minted remade version of this game could preserve
07:12the old-school spirit, while still adding in some fresh visuals, some smoother controls and camera
07:17work, enhanced worlds to explore as Buzz, and just quality of life improvements that we'd expect from
07:22a remake. Introducing a whole new generation to one of the PS1's most beloved licensed platformers,
07:28without losing the whimsical toy-like magic that made it so darn special.
07:40Bugs Bunny Lost in Time
07:54Bugs Bunny Lost in Time remains one of the most charming and enjoyable 3D platformers of its era,
08:00thanks to its creative level design, humorous, looney tunes, atmosphere, hijinks, and shenanigans,
08:05and satisfying mix of exploration, collectibles, and light puzzle solving.
08:10Its colorful worlds and memorable soundtrack have helped it earn a lasting fan following.
08:14A remake could hopefully preserve the game's classic cartoony charm,
08:18while bringing in a whole slew of new players who didn't grow up with Bugs Bunny and pals,
08:23and all the cartoony fun they brought to the table, especially in video game form.
08:27Lost in Time just so happens to be one of those classic PS1 platforming outings that,
08:32with a new lick of paint and updated controls, could shine just as it did back in 1999.
08:46Muppet Monster Adventure
08:57Well, I mean apart from just being incredibly expensive to buy complete in box for us retro
09:03collecting fans out there, Muppet Monster Adventure deserves another shot in the spotlight,
09:08since it's easily one of the most polished, charming, and fun to play 3D platforming adventures of its
09:14era. Oh, and that's not even mentioning the downright stunning toe-tapping musical score.
09:19Seriously, it's so so good.
09:30Getting to explore this family-friendly spooky outing with monstrous transformations could be a
09:36real joy today. It's just such a playful and delightful experience that never fails to put a
09:41smile on your face. The joy a remake could bring would not only help our wallets, obviously,
09:46but could also showcase why the Muppets shine bright in video game form, with Monster Adventure
09:51perhaps being one of the best around, not just on the PS1.
10:05Ape Escape
10:13Ah yes, a pure downright stone cold classic we have ourselves here. I mean, who wouldn't want to see
10:19the beloved Ape Escape return in all of its glory in beautiful from the ground up remake form.
10:25While the follow up game certainly iterated and expanded on the first game's monkey catching
10:29shenanigans, it's the first one that needs a shot in the arm to fully revitalize this classic wild
10:35adventure where the dual analog controls really shine through. It still to this day remains very
10:40playable and is as evocative as ever for those glory days of the late 90s slash early 2000s platforming
10:47space. Please, please, please, please, Sony, we need to see this series return,
10:51and remaking the first outing would be a boon for new players and for fans alike.
11:064D Winx
11:174D Winx on the PlayStation was one of those hidden gems that perfectly captured the magic of late 90s 3D
11:23platformers. With its imaginative, dreamlike worlds, quirky enemies, its memorable soundtrack,
11:29and charming humor, it offered a fun-filled adventure that stood proudly alongside the genre's
11:34classics of the time. While it never reached the same level of fame as some of its contemporaries,
11:39its creative level design and colorful personality have earned itself a devoted cult following.
11:44A modern remake here could breathe new life into this forgotten classic, with updated visuals,
11:49refined controls, and quality of life improvements to make it even more playable. Introducing a whole
11:55new base of players to the whimsical adventure that so many players still remember with a smile on their face.
