00:30Police charged a 16-year-old boy with one count of murder and attempted unlawfully to kill.
00:36The 16-year-old faced court from Videolink in Banksy Hill Detention Centre and became visibly distressed when the murder
00:43charge was read to him.
00:44The court heard him say, why would I do that? I wouldn't do that when the charge was read to
00:49him.
00:49The court also heard a request for a psychiatric assessment for the teenager ahead of his next appearance.
00:55Judge Wendy Hughes said bail was not considered for the teenager and he was remanded in custody until his next
01:01court appearance in August.
