03:38Um, so my player in terms of the player that I think has the highest floor, the player that I'm
03:46most confident in.
03:47And there are a couple of them that are, that are, it's a close call here, but I feel really
03:53good about Nick Cross at safety.
03:56Nick Cross is a really good football player.
04:00And the reason they signed Nick Cross is that he is always available.
04:06He is an excellent tackler and boy, were they looking for an upgrade in tackling, uh, especially on the back
04:18end.
04:18He's got some size to him.
04:21He's got a real physical way in which he plays in the box.
04:26And the other thing too, is I think his versatility is there.
04:30If you want to drop him, you know, he can play, he can play free safety for you as well.
04:37I think Nick Cross is a safe, safe bet to be a, a starter and be a high level producer.
04:46Like, it's not going to surprise me if he is top two or three in tackles.
04:55So Nick Cross is my guy.
04:57There are a couple that were close, a couple of them that were really close, but Nick Cross is my
05:03guy, Max.
05:04I feel the best of all the new guys.
05:08And this has nothing to do with the contracts either.

05:20For me, it is Nick Cross.

05:29Um, I mean, I know you love your Terps, so I know it was a tough call between Nick Cross
05:34and Chigakonkwa.
05:35I'm going to take Chig just because of how I, I, how centric he's going to be, I think, in
05:41this offense.
05:42Uh, the, we saw it last year with a lot of Zach Ertz, the, the safety blanket.
05:46I mean, the past two years, really, he's been Jaden Daniels, uh, binky, his baby, his, his blanket.
05:52Um, just the, the go-to guy.
05:54And I think Chig's going to be that in a much more elevated way.
05:59Um, just because Chig's a lot younger than Zach Ertz, a lot more athletic than Zach Ertz.
06:03So I'm, I'm very excited to see how David Blau kind of centers this offense around guys like Chigakonkwa.
06:09Another guy, I mean, Deami Brown is, I'm very confident in him just because he's a fast guy.
06:16He's a burner over the top.
06:17And we were kind of missing that for a lot of last year.
06:20So I think that's going to be a helpful addition as well.
06:23I think that you're, I think honestly, Cross and Chigakonkwa are the two, and yes, they are Terps.
06:30It's not why I picked Cross and not why I considered seriously picking Chig.
06:35I mean, yeah, I love former Terps.
06:39Don't get me wrong.
06:39But if I thought that, um, you know, Deami Brown or Tim Settle or somebody else was the best or
06:47had the highest floor, I would have said them.
06:48I just think that the opportunities there are just so obvious.
06:52I mean, Chigakonkwa hasn't gotten hurt.
06:55He's always available, and this is a guy that basically was signed to start and be the number one pass
07:01-catching tight end in this offense and probably be the second most targeted pass catcher in this offense.
07:08So unless he has, you know, the yips and starts dropping balls and they aren't able to scheme things open
07:16for him, I don't see him having anything but a very productive season.
07:22I think his floor is exceptionally high.
07:25But man, Nick Cross, first of all, you plug him in at a safety position where they need help.
07:30Look, I love Jeremy Reeves.
07:32I think Reeves is going to play a lot more than some people do.
07:34Um, and I do, you know, I appreciate Kwon Martin.
07:39I appreciate Will Harris.
07:41Nick Cross will be the best tackler of anybody on the back end.
07:45And Quinn talked about tackling and missed tackles and all of the different things that happen defensively, but they have
07:53to tackle better.
07:54One of the worst tackling teams in the NFL last year.
07:57Nick Cross can tackle and he'll hit and he'll be in that box and they'll send him too.
08:03He can be a pass rusher, but he's also not that bad as a free safety.
08:09There's just too much solid there with Nick Cross.
