A high-voltage confrontation was witnessed between a man and security personnel at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Monday after the police launched a lathicharge ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's planned march to Parliament. The lathicharge came as CJP supporters gathered at the protest site for the rally. Amid the chaos, a man, who appeared agitated by the police action, frantically started yelling "Maaro, Sir" at the police. They, subsequently, hit the protester with batons multiple times until other personnel stepped in and promptly whisked him away.
