00:03Welcome back to The Hemp Coven, or THC for short. If you're new here, I'm Scarlett and we are a
00:08group of magical cannabis enthusiasts of legal age using legal products.
00:13Our meeting videos are more informational and our ritual videos are demonstrations and explanations of various rituals, spells, and potions
00:22that correspond with things like moon phases and holidays.
00:26If you prefer not smoking, that's fine. I recommend doing your favorite breathing exercise or just taking a few deep
00:32breaths instead.
00:34If you want to join The Hemp Coven, all you have to do is follow me here on Dailymotion and
00:39use the Reddit link in the description to request to join our subreddit.
00:44You must be 21 years or older to join The Hemp Coven.
00:48In order to begin our meeting, we must first cast a circle. There are many ways to do so, but
00:54what I like to do for our videos is imagine a sphere around me, take a hit, and then imagine
01:00that sphere filling up with my smoke, cleansing and protecting me.
01:03And then we will invite the entities that want to join us.
01:25The spirit of cannabis, I invoke you. Asclepius, God of healing and medicine, I invoke you.
01:32Hekate, goddess of witchcraft, I invoke you.
01:36Dionysus, god of altered mind states, I invoke you.
01:39Eris, goddess of chaos and discord, I invoke you.
01:55So this week's meeting will actually be a bit different because I will be discussing my personal journey with Hemp.
02:03I have been struggling really badly with my health, especially lately, so I thought it was time to talk about
02:10it.
02:11One of the main reasons why I created The Hemp Coven is because hemp is the reason why I'm still
02:18alive, and I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with others.
02:25Hemp has been unjustly demonized in many countries around the world, but the truth is that it's the closest thing
02:33to a miracle medicine that exists.
02:35It has endless health benefits and only a few side effects which are very mild.
02:42Before we begin, I must warn you that this video will mention topics of chronic illness, medical trauma, and abuse.
02:51I won't go into detail on the abuse and medical trauma, but it will be mentioned.
02:59I've been ill my entire life, and it's always been getting worse.
03:04I've had so many major health scares and near-death experiences that I've lost count of them.
03:10I was first introduced to cannabis as a treatment for my insomnia in my late teens.
03:18Despite being so fatigued that I literally felt anchored to the bed, I had a really difficult time falling asleep.
03:29I didn't talk to a doctor because I only saw doctors when I had an illness, which was very often.
03:38I tried the natural methods of lavender, chamomile, melatonin, and a combination of the three.
03:46But the issue with those was that I would wake up the next morning with even more fatigue than usual.
03:54When I tried cannabis, I finally got to sleep without having an extra difficult time waking up the next morning.
04:04After that, I began consuming cannabis at night to help me sleep and occasionally on an off day if I
04:11really needed a nap and wouldn't be likely to be interrupted.
04:15On infrequent occasions, I would consume cannabis socially as well.
04:21Around that time, I began to learn the truth about cannabis and how utterly wrong the propaganda against it is.
04:28Fast forward to about 2017, I moved from one abusive home to an even worse one.
04:35And this one included a kleptomaniac who had been dipping into my money from the very moment that I first
04:43got money.
04:44After a short while, I was denied the right to consume cannabis.
04:50Meanwhile, my illnesses got worse and I got frequent injuries.
04:55I couldn't seek medical help.
04:58I was overworked and the abuse continued to get much worse.
05:03However, there was a bright spot in my life and that is my husband.
05:10Well, he's now my husband, but he wasn't then.
05:13At the time, he was just a neighbor.
05:15He used to have his sesh time outside and he would blast music and sing and have his bowl.
05:26And he was always very inviting and friendly.
05:30And he's a very neighborly person in general.
05:33So his apartment was in the building across the courtyard from mine.
05:39And so a lot of times when I had to escape the abuse, I went over and spent time with
05:48the man who's now my husband.
05:50And I grew closer to him, which obviously we became close friends very quickly.
06:00And he would share his bowls with me and we would take turns picking different songs to listen to while
06:09we talk.
06:10For a while, I was forced to switch from cigarettes to vapes.
06:15But the good news is that at the time, CBV Vape Juice was just starting to gain popularity.
06:23So I was able to add some of that to my normal vape juice.
06:29And it helped a lot with the pain.
06:32Eventually, I began to see through the lies and recognize the abuse.
06:37So they kicked me out.
06:38And luckily, my in-laws, who of course weren't my in-laws yet, took me in to save me from
06:46other abusers, which were my only other options.
06:50At that point, I was able to resume my regular consumption of cannabis.
06:56And my consumption quickly increased due to my illnesses getting worse.
07:02But I was finally able to seek medical help.
07:06Unfortunately, I got screwed over by a lot of quacks who should not be allowed to be doctors at all.
07:14But I was able to get some occasional help.
07:20I had my first endometriosis surgery in 2020, where I was diagnosed with endometriosis.
07:27But the so-called doctor that did the surgery claimed that he could not reach it to remove it.
07:35So there it stayed and grew.
07:39At the same time, I had to leave my job because I was having a lot of pain from endometriosis
07:47and PCOS, which is now called PMOS.
07:51And if you're unaware, endometriosis is an illness where a tissue similar to the inner lining of the uterus plant
08:01themselves outside of the uterus.
08:04It is not the endometrium, but it is very similar tissue.
08:09It can attach to organs, nerves, muscles, tissue, inner walls, bones, and even the skin.
08:17It can attach to basically anything within the body and on it, apparently.
08:22These lesions can cause a wide variety of symptoms.
08:26They can bleed, they can create blood clots, and they can be located anywhere within the body.
08:35They say that endometriosis outside of the pelvic area is uncommon.
08:41However, I highly doubt that because endometriosis is very hard to find.
08:47It usually doesn't show up on scans and there are no tests for it.
08:51Most of the time, you have to have surgery and visualize it in surgery in order to officially diagnose it,
09:01which is a problem when most doctors that deal with areas of the body that are not the pelvic cavity
09:11have to deal with a patient that has endometriosis.
09:16Because they may not know that endometriosis can be outside of the pelvis.
09:23They may not know that endometriosis is more than just a bad period.
09:30And most of them still think that endometriosis is just a bad period and a gynecological issue.
09:38However, it is a full body disease.
09:42And honestly, most doctors don't even know what a healthy period is.
09:49I've been to so many doctors that told me that my heavy bleeding and my severe pain that was so
09:57bad that I literally could not move.
10:00And they were saying that that was normal.
10:03Like, what the fuck are you telling?
10:06What?
10:07That's not normal.
10:08That's not normal.
10:09But that's the thing.
10:12Most doctors don't know.
10:14And that makes this disease so much more difficult to handle and deal with, really.
10:24And to figure out where it is.
10:26Many specialists and scientists actually believe that endometriosis is a form of cancer because it behaves like one.
10:36And many scientists and specialists believe that endometriosis is worse than cancer.
10:43I personally am in that last group because the more I learn about endometriosis, the more I believe that it
10:54is worse than cancer.
10:55It can attach anywhere.
10:57It can make its own nerves.
10:59It can make its own hormones, particularly estrogen.
11:03It can attack organs.
11:06It can attack systems in the body.
11:10It can attack everything.
11:13The hormones can cause a wide variety of symptoms.
11:18It is so hard to find.
11:21It's so small that, like I said, it usually does not show up on any scans.
11:26If it shows up on your scans, then you're lucky because it usually doesn't.
11:32And if your doctor says that it's not on the scan so you don't have it, that's not true.
11:38As the hemp industry developed and grew, I began to branch out and try various different products.
11:46I made daily use of the strongest topicals that I could find, and I still use it on things like
11:52injuries.
11:53I managed to stop smoking cigarettes and moved to HempX, which are pre-rolls that have particularly CBD-strong hemp
12:04and not so much the psychoactive hemp, so it doesn't have THC in it, or it has very little.
12:12But I also increased my consumption of hemp that does have THC in it, and that was because of the
12:20pain and other symptoms.
12:21I went through a long period of time where I would have hemp-infused teas as often as I could.
12:29I tried the strongest edibles I could find and used very strong hemp-infused topicals.
12:36I even experimented with making my own edibles, and that's actually still going really well, by the way.
12:43I recently started making infused honey, and it's the perfect way to add more cannabinoids than I can inhale without
12:52conflicting with my frequent nausea, which sometimes edibles do.
12:57I learned that the best combination for me is to consume flour as well as concentrates, as well as edibles
13:07when I need extra help, which has been more often lately.
13:12I also used strong topicals on my injuries and aches, like my wrists that started hurting like a year ago
13:20and never healed.
13:21So these are the little things that happened in my story that I'm not going into detail about right now.
13:27This is what I'm going to say, so I'm going to start with some strokes.
13:27I'm going to start looking for a little bit.
