00:02Welcome back to The Hemp Cabin or THC for short. If you're new here, I'm Scarlett and we are a

00:08group of magical cannabis enthusiasts of legal age using legal products.

00:13Our meeting videos are more informational and our rituals videos are demonstrations and explanations of various rituals, spells and potions

00:21that correspond with things like moon phases and holidays.

00:26If you prefer not smoking, that's fine. I recommend doing your favorite breathing exercise or just taking a few deep

00:32breaths instead.

00:49In order to begin our meeting, we must first cast a circle.

00:53There are many ways to do this, but what I like to do for our videos is imagine a sphere

00:58around me, take a hit and then imagine that sphere filling up with my smoke, cleansing and protecting me.

01:04And then we will invite the entities that we want to join us.

01:27The spirit of cannabis, I invoke you.

01:34Hephaestus, God of forge and craftsmen, I invoke you.

01:56For this week's meeting, we will be discussing stoner tools and accessories.

02:01I've made a video on ways to smoke, a few videos on stoner turns and a video on methods of

02:09consumption.

02:10So I think it's only right to make a video about our tools and accessories.

02:16There are a lot of tools and accessories out there.

02:19So if you know of any that I miss, please leave them in the comments because I would love to

02:25know more.

02:26What are your favorite tools?

02:28Also, before we begin, I will say that most of the items that we're talking about today, I got from

02:36Blazy Susan.

02:38And I do have a link and discount code for Blazy Susan in the description.

02:43Number one is a tray.

02:45So this is my smaller tray that I use for when I make videos of me loading bowls.

02:53I have a bigger tray that has the same pattern that is the one that I normally use.

03:00But basically, I love trays.

03:04I just started using them a few years ago.

03:07And I will never look back because they catch all those little delicious bits of green that fall off to

03:16the side when you're loading your bowl.

03:18And all of that does add up.

03:22And I like to save all of that in a jar.

03:26And that is my salad that I use for emergencies.

03:31Salad is just a name for a combination of various streams.

03:38But it definitely has helped a lot.

03:41I mean, I've gotten so much out of this that I just couldn't out of just the desk that I

03:48use because there would also be like ash mixed in.

03:54But ever since I started using trays, I get all my green bits here and the ash gets off to

04:00the side and I get to save those bits.

04:09Number two is a grinder.

04:11I got this from Blazy Susan as well.

04:15Most of us are familiar with the tool known as the grinder.

04:19It usually has at least two chambers, one for grinding, which is this one, and one for collecting what you've

04:31ground, which is this one.

04:35Many grinders actually have a third chamber at the bottom that is called a keep catcher.

04:43Keep is a form of dry concentrate.

04:47So basically it's the dust that comes off when you are grinding your herb.

04:54It includes like the trichomes.

04:56So it's really potent.

04:57I call it green gold because it's very potent and I like to use it when I'm having extra pain

05:05and need a little extra boost in my normal bowls.

05:08But the keep catcher essentially has, it's in the bottom.

05:14It has a screen where it sifts out all of the keep from your other grind herb.

05:23Depending on your rate of consumption, it could take not very long to get a decent amount.

05:32But if you just ignore the keep catcher for a while, maybe a few months, you'll find that you have

05:41a nice plot of green that you can harvest.

05:46And I usually try to wait to harvest mine because I want it to collect and build up.

05:57But when I do, I actually use it for not just adding to my bowls, but I use it for

06:04making edibles as well.

06:06However, I only recommend using keep to make edibles if you have a higher tolerance because it's going to be

06:16really strong.

06:17But there are a lot of different styles and designs for grinders.

06:23I used to have one that had like a sort of handle on top that you would just spin around

06:30and it would grind it that way.

06:32This is sort of the usual design where it's like you just do this to grind up and that's all

06:45you got to do.

06:46Number three is an ashtray with a deep bowler.

06:50If you don't have a deep bowler, listen up.

06:53This is a game changer.

06:55I love having a deep bowler.

06:57All you have to do is put your bowl on there and, you know, twist it around a little bit.

07:03And this deep bowler will actually take out all that ash that's in there.

07:09And then you can do a little bit more of a detailed cleaning with other tools.

07:14But this has been so wonderful for me.

07:18It really makes it a lot easier to clean out my bowls.

07:22It also makes it easier to sort of take off ash layer and get to the stuff at the bottom

07:31if I have like a half smoked bowl.

07:33And to do that, I just kind of lightly twist it around and very lightly get just the ash off

07:43and leave the rest.

07:45So this is really helpful and I highly recommend getting it.

07:49Of course, I got mine from Blazy Susan as well.

07:53Number four is a hippie bow.

07:55So my husband introduced me to this sort of around the time when we started being friends.

08:02And ever since then, I always use them.

08:06They're so helpful.

08:08They make life so much easier.

08:09So basically, it's just a piece of paper.

08:14This one's old.

08:15It's just a piece of paper that you fold.

08:23And when you fold it, and then you set it up like this.

08:29And you can, after you grind your herb, you just dump it into the hippie boat.

08:35And then you take that and you load your bowl or whatever your papers.

08:45And it's super easy.

08:47You don't have to worry about like scooping out or painting out a certain amount and putting it in there

08:54and packing it with your fingers.

08:56Getting your getting it all stuck to your fingers and getting your skin oils on it and stuff.

09:03So this really helps.

09:06I love it.

09:07It's actually time for me to make another one.

09:10I have made a video on Instagram about how to make a hippie boat.

09:15And I probably will do that again when I'm ready to make another one, which is very soon.

09:21Because you can see that this one has gotten plenty of use.

09:25Number five is a multi-tool.

09:27This is another thing that my husband introduced to me that I use every single day.

09:34And this is, I don't know if it has another name, but we just call it a multi-tool.

09:41So this is it.

09:42It's got these three parts and it's on a circle hinge there.

09:51Okay.

09:52So basically the stick is good for poking through ash, poking out the hole at the bottom of the bowl

10:03when you're cleaning it out.

10:06And sort of like gently taking off the top.

10:13Then we have the scoop.

10:16Obviously this is good for scooping up your herb or concentrate.

10:21However, I would use this tool for dry purposes.

10:26So dry herb and keep only because the other one's going to get real sticky.

10:34And then finally we have this flat one, which is really good for packing your bowls, which is what you

10:42do after you load it.

10:43So you load it and then you just gently pack it to make sure that it's nice and in there.

10:52I love this tool.

10:54I use it every single day, multiple times.

10:57It's amazing.

10:59Number six is a roach clip.

11:02So if you don't know a roach is what remains of a partially smoked blunt or joint.

11:10A roach clip is a nifty little tool that will actually hold your joints and blunts for you.

11:20So as you can see, it's got this clippy bit.

11:25I don't know if you can see that very well, but my camera is pretty decent.

11:29So maybe you can.

11:31There are a lot of different designs for this.

11:35So this one has a little block here so I can just set it down.

11:44So I can just set it down and it allows me to do other things with my hands, which is

11:52great because I am a multitasker always.

11:55It also protects your fingers from the heat that you will feel when you get to the end of your

12:04J or blunt.

12:06Number seven is an ash catcher.

12:09That's this guy.

12:11Okay.

12:12If you like water pipes, listen up to this one because an ash catcher is a wonderful invention.

12:19I love it.

12:21So this actually helps to keep your pipe clean by filtering.

12:28So this blue area here is the filter and basically an ash catcher collects all those delicious little bits that

12:41get sucked down into the pipe and it filters the smoke and it keeps the central pipe.

12:51The actual pipe more clean.

12:55So like this one, mine's a little bit cloudy, but that's because I've been using it a lot today.

13:02And this is I just clean.

13:05So it's nice and shiny for you.

13:07I absolutely love my ash catcher.

13:10I only found out about them very recently and I will never look back.

13:16It's amazing.

13:18I love it so much.

13:19And I've actually found that it allows me to take in bigger hits, which is always wonderful.

13:28Number eight is dab tool, which is this little guy.

13:34I love it.

13:35This one's from Lazy Susan, of course.

13:39So the dab tool can handle the various types of concentrates easily.

13:48So it's got this side.

13:50That's like a scoop.

13:52So this is good for scooping.

13:53And then this side has a point.

13:55So it's better for like scraping and like poking.

13:59And the next item on this list is actually a more modern version of the dab tool.

14:06So let's move on to that.

14:08Number nine is hot knife.

14:10I do not actually own a hot knife.

14:14I really want to.

14:16And trust me, I'll be getting one as soon as I can.

14:19But it makes life so much easier for those of us who enjoy concentrates because the hot knife is just

14:28a tool that has a small heated tip.

14:34And that heated tip allows the concentrate to slide off of it very easily.

14:42So you don't end up with a tool that's like super sticky and you end up wasting product because it's

14:50stuck to your tool.

14:51I really want a hot knife and I recommend getting one if you can because I've seen them in action

14:59and they seem like they make things a lot easier.

15:03And as a chronically ill person, I'm always down for what makes life easier.

15:08But if you're interested in getting a hot knife, the description does have my link to Yocan.

15:13They make hot knives as well as vaporizers.

15:17So check them out.

15:19I know their products are good because I have a vape from them and I've had one from them in

15:24the past before this.

15:26So check them out.

15:28Number 10 is a cone packer.

15:32This one, of course, is from Blazy Susan.

15:36As the name suggests, a cone packer helps you pack pre-rolled cones.

15:42So for those of us who for one reason or another can't or don't want to roll their own, you

15:49can get pre-rolled cones,

15:51which are papers that are already rolled up but empty so you can load it up with your own herb.

15:58And this tool helps you do that.

16:00So you just put a little bit of herb in your papers and then tap it down to pack it

16:07and then keep going until there's only enough empty space left to close it.

16:19You can probably use this to help you roll as well, but I have not tried that.

16:24This particular tool also has a holder.

16:29So this, their logo is cut out of the top and you can actually stick the filter of your J

16:41or blunt in there and just hold it like this.

16:45And I use this every time I smoke.

16:50Every time I smoke a joint, I use this.

16:53It's really handy.

16:54I love it.

16:58Number 11 is dab mats.

17:00So here's mine from Blazy Susan.

17:04If you like concentrates, consider getting a dab mat.

17:08Dealing with concentrates can be a really sticky business.

17:11So a dab mat is actually usually made of silicone and it makes this so much easier.

17:20You can just wipe it off on this and it's easy to clean.

17:24All you do is use the same alcohol that you use for cleaning your pipe and you just wipe it

17:31down real good and boom, you're done.

17:33Also, if you have a nectar collector, you can probably do your concentrates collecting on the mat itself because it's

17:48silicone.

17:49So if you don't know, a nectar collector is a concentrate pipe that is sort of like a straw.

17:56It has a mouthpiece at the top and the bottom is heated up either electronically or with a torch.

18:05And then you just touch the bottom to your concentrate and inhale and the concentrate will vaporize from the heat

18:14and go up the straw like tube.

18:18Either way, a dab mat is a good investment and they tend to be pretty affordable unless they're like really

18:26elaborate.

18:27I also recommend rinsing it after cleaning it just to make sure you got all of the alcohol off so

18:32you don't get any in your concentrates.

18:35And finally, we have the cap.

18:38So a cap is a very helpful tool for those of us who like to use pipes.

18:45A cap is, as it sounds, a cap to put on top of your bowl.

18:49So when you take a hit, you know, take your hit, inhale.

18:53Once you're ready to tamp out that flame, you just cover it.

18:59And what I do is I pull, you know, cover it, pull the bowl out.

19:06And what I do is just kind of like cover the bottom of the bowl with like a table or

19:13something.

19:16And that's how it works for this.

19:18The lack of oxygen.

19:24Sassy.

19:25Baby.

19:27No.

19:29Goddammit.

19:31I love you, baby, but dammit.

19:35Fuck.

19:36I have to scroll all the way back down to where I am.

19:40Yes.

19:43Sorry about that.

19:44My cat jumped on my computer and fucked up where I was in my script.

19:50So I had to find my place again.

19:53And here's the other cat.

19:55My cat is actually a duck.

19:58However, because my hands don't always work the way they should, mine has lost its head.

20:06I still have the head.

20:07It's just not attached anymore.

20:10But it's still useful.

20:12That's only a decoration.

20:15And remember to clean your cats because the bottom will get all gucky.

20:19Yes, that is an actual word, gucky.

20:21I just made it up.
