02:32after the total solar eclipse but that will factor into
02:39the new moon rituals that we will be doing in this video
02:45the new moon has themes of new beginnings evaluating options evaluating weaknesses
02:52evaluating strengths and disregarding that which does not work
02:57the total solar eclipse brings themes of renewal energy and motivation
03:04this new moon is also in leo which adds themes of courage confidence expression passion acceptance forgiveness
03:15discarding the past stability calm internal conflicts justice morals planning your next steps
03:25opportunities unexpected changes and self-expression it is also the final day for the lions gate portal
03:36which is when the sun in leo aligns with the earth and sirius which is the brightest star
03:47the portal enhances witchcraft that focuses on manifestation courage wealth and success with all that said
03:56let's get started on our rituals number one is to clean cleanse and reorganize your altars
04:05the new moon as the new moon as the beginning of the cycle and some see the new moon as
04:09the end of the cycle
04:11either way it's a great time to clean your altar cleanse the space and the items that go on it
04:19and reorganize your altar to reflect your intentions for the season your focuses the entities that you work with
04:30anything that really feels like the right arrangement for you since this is the hemp coven
04:37i do recommend cleansing your space and items by blowing your smoke over them
04:43number two is to sesh with the entities of the night and the sun
04:48as always i recommend inviting whatever night or sun entities that you work with to a sesh
04:56since i work with hellenic deities that would be nyx selene artemis hekate erebus helios and apollo
05:06i recommend choosing music ambient sounds or frequencies that focus on the night or the sun
05:15all you have to do now is call forth your chosen entities like i do at the beginning of our
05:21videos
05:22imagine that they are sitting with you preferably in a circle have your hit and then hold your smoking
05:30method out to the next entity watch them inhale and exhale if you want you can talk to them while
05:40they
05:40have their heads watch their response see them hand your smoking method to the next entity
05:48and have another hit when it comes back to you continue until you feel that you should only have
05:56one more hit and with your last hit you want to think and dismiss the entities that join you like
06:05i do at
06:05the end of all of our videos number three is meditate on the balance of light and dark
06:14with the new moon occurring on the day of a solar eclipse right now is the perfect time to ponder
06:21the
06:21balance between light and dark get as baked as you feel comfortable being and get into a comfortable
06:28sitting or laying position close your eyes and take a few deep breaths or do your favorite breathing

06:54rest your hands in a comfortable place with your palms up
07:00imagine holding an orb of golden light in one hand and an orb of darkness in the other notice that

07:12of equal weight since the equal distribution of power see the golden light and the black shadow cover your hands
07:28slowly reaching up your arms spreading across your chest and back and connecting to your soul
07:41simultaneously they climb up your neck to cover the top of your head and drip down your abdomen
07:51not stopping until the soles of your feet are covered feel the light and darkness within you
07:58the darkness is your shadow self and other things that you consider dark this can include certain types of
08:07magic certain aspects of humanity certain aspects of nature and more the light is your higher self
08:17and things that you consider light the light can include higher realms higher beings morals
08:30certain types of magic certain aspects of humanity certain aspects of nature and more or perhaps you view
08:40light and dark in the opposite way perhaps you see light as more negative or something to hide from
08:51perhaps you see the darkness as more positive true or something to express outwardly examine each side carefully
09:04what elements thoughts ideas interests and aspects of yourself do you find in the light
09:15which elements thoughts ideas interests and aspects do you find in the darkness there is no true good or bad
09:25there is natural unnatural and supernatural focus on the balance how do they balance each other out there are clear
09:39ways of balancing
09:43there are more complex ways of balancing
09:48notice the balance begins to blur the line between light and dark we all have light and darkness inside of
09:58us
09:59we strive for the perfect balance but often forget that it requires the line to blur and blend
10:09take as long as you need to contemplate that balance number four is a spell for courage finally we're getting
10:17into the spells
10:18everyone could use a little extra courage and this spell should help on a small piece of paper write the
10:25word courage
10:26if you want more specific results you can write what you need that courage for
10:31if you want help from entities write their names too if you want to light a candle i recommend orange
10:40if you want to burn herbs or incense i recommend sage cardamom or fennel light your paper and herbs in

15:01Get as baked as you feel comfortable being and get into a comfortable sitting or laying
15:06position. You can prepare a method of writing as well. I recommend it actually because this
15:14is going to go through a lot of different things. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths
15:20or do your favorite breathing exercise. Think about your strengths. Take your time to list
15:31as many as you can think of. Write them down if you need to. Examine each strength thoroughly.
15:42Now think about your weaknesses. List as many as you can think of and examine each weakness
15:51thoroughly. Again, take as much time as you need. Now think about potential, your personal
16:00potential, your magical potential, your career potential, your spiritual potential, the potential
16:10of situations in your life, the potential of your relationships, and all other kinds of potential
16:20that apply to you. Now examine each one in as much detail as possible. Once you're ready,
16:29focus on the best ways that you can use your strengths, how to improve your weaknesses, and how to maximize
16:40potential. When you're done, take a moment to clear your head with a few slow, deep breaths.
16:49And finally, we have a spell for motivation. Everyone needs some extra motivation and this spell
16:57should help. On a small piece of paper, write down the word motivation. For better results, I recommend
17:05adding as much detail as you can about what you need that motivation for. If you want help from any
17:14entities, write their names down as well. If you want to light a candle, I recommend red. If you want
17:22to burn
17:22herbs or incense, I recommend calendula, cardamom, or cinnamon. Light your paper, herbs, and candle and say
17:31whatever magic words come to you.
