04:42Solidarity is shown by the international community in times of adversity while Venezuela continues the process of recovery and reconstruction
04:50following the double earthquake that hit the country.
05:01On behalf of acting President Delcy Rodriguez, we would like first and foremost to express our gratitude to the Turkish
05:08government, the Turkish people, President Erdogan, to the ambassador and to the foreign minister with whom I have been in
05:15contact since the very beginning.
05:17Turkey was the nation that responded. In fact, it was the first to do so when the double earthquake struck
05:23Venezuela, specifically in the town of La Guayra.
05:27Here was the sisterly hand, the friendly hand of the Turkish government.
05:36For this part, the ambassador of Turkey to Venezuela, Aidan Karamanoglu, highlighted the cooperation between the two countries following the
05:43earthquakes of June 24.
05:48All of our agencies sprung into action to support our brothers and sisters in Venezuela, just as Venezuela had done
05:57for us on February 6, 2023, when we experienced the earthquakes.
06:04Seventy-five people from the Turkish armed forces, the Red Crescent Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, and the Turkish health
06:12contingent arrived here quickly to assist with rescue operations.
06:19They have been here for two weeks assisting with rescue operations. Today we are saying goodbye to them as they
06:24return to Turkey, but we have taken advantage of the two planes coming to pick them up to bring humanitarian
06:29aid.

07:08centers and the death of three Mexican national during operations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE.

07:36Police records revealed the discovery of military explosives intended for use in crowded areas for the purpose of carrying out
07:43terrorist attacks.
07:44Preliminary reports highlight the security crisis facing the country with notable increases compared to 2017 when there were only four
07:52murders.
07:59And now we have a short break coming up, but first remember you can join us on TikTok at Telesur
08:04English where you will find news in different formats, news updates and much more.
08:08We'll be right back, stay with us.
08:39Welcome back from the South Carolina to Spain where Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited on Monday in the southern region
08:44of Spain.
08:44The scene of Andalusia, the scene of one of Spain that did this wildfires in recent history, which has claimed
08:5030 lives and raised a huge area.
08:52Such as arriving in the southern municipality of Turre in the Almería province to meet with emergency services as they
08:58worked to extinguish the blaze that continued to burn across the step.
09:02Rush to rain.
09:04Rush to rain.
09:04The wildfire, which broke out on Thursday, July 9, transformed picturesque brutal settlements into ghost towns and left a trail
09:11of destruction in Almería province, leaving about 7,000 hectares or 17,300 acres of forest and shrubland scorched.
09:2736 homes have been evacuated after a major incident was declared following a wildfire in North Wales.
09:32The blaze broke out near Conway Mountain and the scene tonight was in Coway County on Sunday.
09:39About 200 acres of land have been affected.
09:42Assist and Chief Fire Officer Anthony Jones for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was expected to
09:49spread on Monday because of the heat wave, with people leaving advice to keep windows and doors shut.
09:55The fire service said no further evacuation were needed, but it was too early to decide when residents evacuated from
10:01the Capelulo area will be able to return home.
10:09In France, the massive deployment of 500 firefighters are battling a wildfire of exceptional magnitude inside the historic Fontainebleau Forest,
10:18located just outside Paris.
10:20The high-stakes operation comes as the French government launches an investigation into suspicious that the blaze may have been
10:27intentionally set.
10:28Specialized emergency teams are working on the ground to establish containment lines around the burning woodland, which is one of
10:35the country's most iconic natural reserves.
10:37Authorities warn that the dry seasonal conditions are complicating efforts to fully control the perimeter.
11:05And the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the statement by the United Kingdom, France and Germany regarding
11:12alleged Iranian attacks in the Strait of Hormuz as lacking in legitimacy.
11:16Iranian Foreign Minister spokesperson Esmail Baguay condemned the joint statement by the three countries, noting that they continue to distort
11:24reality.
11:25The spokesperson states that the United Kingdom, France and Germany still have to play a constructive and responsible role in
11:33light of the evolving conflicts in the region.
11:35Furthermore, Baguay argues that the current crisis facing the Middle East and the world is a consequence of the aggression
11:41by the United States and its Zionist allies in February 2026.
11:53On a Monday, the foreign minister of Iran said that the initial peace deal reached with the United States last
11:58month is in a state of crisis following a weekend of attacks across the wider Middle East.
12:05There is no doubt that the memorandum of understanding has entered a stage of crisis.
12:09But we should bear in mind that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never been the first to violate its
12:15commitments.
12:18In this regard, China affirms that the restoring security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz is a
12:24fundamental part of global trade.
12:28The Strait of Hormuz is used for international navigation, restoring safe and impeded passes as soon as possible serves the
12:35interests of all parties.
12:36The issue of free navigation in the Strait should be handled properly to address the common concerns of the international
12:43community.
12:44China is willing to maintain communication with relevant countries and with the international community on this matter.
12:51In Palestine, a new violation of the ceasefire by Israeli occupation forces has killed at least six people.
12:57The attacks struck residential areas and camps for displaced people, living dozens injured.
13:03According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, drone strikes in various parts of the Gaza Strip killed a nine-year
13:08-old girl who was in a refugee camp.
13:10For its part, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs confirmed that since the start of the
13:16conflict,
13:16more than 21,000 children have died in the Palestinian enclave.
13:26In Yemen, regional tensions have escalated dramatically following Saudi airstrikes targeting Sana International Airport.
13:33Military officials in Yemen condemned the attack, warning that the bombardment formally ends the recent de-escalation phase
13:39and will trigger a definite strategic response from their armed forces.
13:43According to military spokesperson, the Saudi strikes were aimed at blocking regional air traffic,
13:49coinciding with the approach of the Iranian civilian flight operated by Mahan Air despite the military aggression.
13:56The aircraft successfully bypassed the blockade and landed at Al-Hudaida Airport,
14:01sharpening the geopolitical dispute over direct flights between Tehran and Sanaa.
14:13We go now with our special segment on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
14:18Beyond the game, the ball stays pure. Go ahead Luis, a pleasure to share the set with you.
14:23A pleasure to be back, Lore. We'll continue to have more information as everything is getting ready for the first
14:28semifinal tomorrow between France and Spain.
14:31More after the break.
14:57Welcome to Beyond the Game, the ball stays pure. After an action-packed quarter-final round, the stage is set
15:02for the final game.
15:05France and Spain will meet in one of the tournament's most highly anticipated clashes when they face off next Tuesday,
15:11July 14th at Dallas Stadium.
15:14France heads into the semifinal in strong form after defeating Morocco 2-0 in the quarter-finals, while Spain secure
15:20its place in the final four with a 2-1 victory over Belgium.
15:23Meanwhile, England advance with a 2-1 extra time win over Norway, while defending champion Argentina defeated Switzerland 3-1
15:30to book its place in the semifinals.
15:33England and Argentina will square off in the second semifinal next Wednesday, July 15th at Atlanta Stadium.
15:45And many are calling the first semifinal of the 2016 FIFA World Cup a final before the final.
15:50France once again looks to Kylian Mbappe, whose pace and finishing have made him one of the tournament's standout players.
15:56Supported by a deep attacking unit featuring Ousmane de Pelé, Le Bleu combines speed, power and clinical finishing.
16:03Spain, meanwhile, continues to be impressed with its possession-based style led by the creativity of Lamine Jamal and the
16:09leadership of Mikel Oyarzaba,
16:11while their defence has been among the strongest in the competition.
16:15History suggests another classic Spain holds the overall edge in the rivalry with 18 wins to France's 13,
16:21but France won their only previous World Cup meeting, a 3-1 victory in the round of 16 at Germany
16:26in 2006.
16:27More recently, the nations have shared memorable encounters in the UEFA Nations League and European Championships with Lido separating them.
16:35Expect a fascinating tactical battle, Spain will try to control position and dictate the tempo,
16:40while France will look to exploit space in transition through Mbappe's space.
16:49And as France prepares to face Spain in the World Cup semifinals, defender Ibrahim Akonate insists La Roja's biggest threats
16:56extend far beyond Lamine Jamal.
17:02To be honest, you don't necessarily think about that because Spain is an exceptional side with a wealth of talent.
17:10But the aim isn't to focus only on one particular player, because it's the whole team that can cause problems.
17:18It's not just Lamine, it's the whole team.
17:21To be honest, we don't pay any attention to what's being said about all this.
17:25We shouldn't be afraid of anyone. We need to stay true to the humility we've had from the very start.
17:30We mustn't fall into that trap, especially at this stage of the competition.
17:35Now, he can say whatever he likes. We'll try to prepare as well as we can in the run-up
17:40to the match.
17:41And at the end of the match, I hope the result will go our way.
17:47We're not worried. I think we knew this would be part of the adventure.
17:54That said, we're going to prepare as best we can.
17:58We've been through some extreme weather conditions and plenty of other challenges that were a bit tricky to deal with.
18:04But we rose to the occasion, so we'll do the same again.
18:10And with the semifinals now said, it's also time to take stock of the standout performers of the 2026 FIFA
18:15World Cup following the quarterfinals.
18:17In goal, Morocco's Yacine Bono earns the nod after another spectacular tournament highlighted by his heroics in the quarterfinals against
18:24France.
18:24The back four features Akraf Hakimi at right back, Theo Hernandez on the left, while Christian Romero and Spain's teenage
18:31sensation Paul Kubarcy form a commanding central defensive partnership.
18:35In midfield, Alexis McAllister has been the heartbeat of Argentina.
18:39Jude Bellingham has established himself as one of the tournament's biggest stars with England.
18:43And Rodri continues to dictate Spain's play with his trademark composure and intelligence.
18:48Leading the attack is a trio packed with world-class talent.
18:51Kylian Mbappe remains France's most dangerous offensive weapon.
18:55Lionel Messi continues to rewrite World Cup history while inspiring Argentina's run to the semifinals.
19:00And despite Norway's elimination, Erling Haaland earns the striker spot after a tournament filled with goals and dominant performances.
19:07This is my best XI, of course. The official one is not given until the end of the tournament.
19:12Feel free to give us your best XI in the comments or our social media.
19:23And on his football show, La Pelota No Se Mancha, journalist Victor Hugo Morales harshly condemned.
19:28Javier Mele's government accusing it of using tear gas buttons and police brutality to suppress the people's joy.
19:36Why is it that this, this happiness sweeping the world, in this case among Argentines at the World Cup, victory,
19:46taking to the streets, singing, hugging one another, jumping for joy.
19:53Why must this be brutally interrupted by a regime that treats repression as a kind of school?
19:59A despicable school, of course.
20:02The government of Mili, led by a minister named Monte Oliva, took to the streets of Buenos Aires once again,
20:09specifically to put an end to the celebration.
20:12Go home, they said, even though people wanted to keep celebrating until dawn the next day.
20:18A situation typical of this government, which Argentines have to endure, unfolded.
20:25Neoliberal atrocities accompanied by batons, beatings, tear gas.
20:29Everything that debases the lives of citizens.
20:33And following allegations of political interference by U.S. President Donald Trump, calls are going for FIFA President Giovanni Infantino
20:40to step down.
20:42La Liga President Javier Tebas has shown the criticism of Infantino strongly condemning him over the controversies surrounding the overturned
20:48red card shown to U.S. international foliar in Balogun.
20:52A decision widely believed to have been made at Trump's request.
20:55Tebas argued that the incident is not an isolated mistake or anecdote, but rather the tip of the iceberg of
21:02a governance model that has been undermining FIFA's credibility for many years.
21:06Meanwhile, German manager Jurgen Klopp said that if there was indeed political interference between Trump and Infantino and that matter
21:12was resolved like that,
21:14in his words, it's madness, it puts everything into question.
21:18The controversy has also reached the European Parliament, where lawmakers Barry Andrews, Lara Wolters and Niels Fulksan described FIFA's decision
21:27as a disgrace and a perversion of justice.
21:30They have joined 35 other members of the Parliament in signing a letter calling on FIFA's Ethics Committee to investigate
21:35Gianni Infantino.
21:43And the quarterfinal stage has come to an end with two matches that left fans speechless.
21:48Social media once again erupted with claims of several officiating errors that went unnoticed by the referee,
21:54putting game officials under intense scrutiny as football federations and countries have raised their voices in protest.
21:59In Switzerland, demonstrators took to the streets to protest against FIFA and it's in battle president Gianni Infantino.
22:06Protesters criticized the commercialization of the sport, alleged institutional corruption, refereeing decisions,
22:12match scheduling and what they described as the modern business model imposed on football.
22:20Demonstrations began during the 2016 FIFA World Cup and escalated rapidly following Switzerland's court of final elimination to Argentina.
22:28Protesters claimed the officiating favored the Albi Celeste, pointing in particular to the controversial VRR-assisted dismissal
22:35of Swiss strikers Brio Mbolo for simulation.
22:44That's all for this edition of Beyond the Game.
22:46The Voces viewers are going to be back with more.
