00:05This is part of the Turkish government's solidarity with those affected by the earthquake.
00:10The Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Hill received the Solidarity Aide accompanied by the Turkish ambassador in Venezuela.
00:16The aircraft will also transport the rescue team sent by the Turkish government more than two weeks ago to Turkey.
00:22The team has been working in the affected areas to search for and rescue people.
00:27Solidarity is shown by the international community in times of adversity.
00:31While Venezuela continues the process of recovery and reconstruction following the double earthquake that hit the country.
00:46On behalf of Acting President Delcy Rodriguez, we would like, first and foremost, to express our gratitude to the Turkish
00:53government,
00:54the Turkish people, President Erdogan, to the ambassador, and to the foreign minister with whom I have been in contact
01:01since the very beginning.
01:02Turkey was the nation that responded.
01:04In fact, it was the first to do so when the double earthquake struck Venezuela, specifically in the town of
01:11La Guayra.
01:12Here was the sisterly hand, the friendly hand of the Turkish government.
01:20First part, the ambassador of Turkey to Venezuela, Aidan Karamanoglu, highlighted the cooperation between the two countries following the earthquakes
01:28of June 24.
01:33All of our agencies sprung into action to support our brothers and sisters in Venezuela.
01:41Just as Venezuela had done for us on February 6, 2023, when we experienced the earthquakes.
01:49Seventy-five people from the Turkish armed forces, the Red Crescent Disaster and Emergency Management Agency,
01:56and the Turkish health contingent arrived here quickly to assist with rescue operations.
02:03They have been here for two weeks assisting with rescue operations.
02:07Today we are saying goodbye to them as they return to Turkey,
02:10but we have taken advantage of the two planes coming to pick them up to bring humanitarian aid.
