00:12all and i hope that i find you very well and welcome back to our favorite time of the week
00:17on the channel it's our family meals of the week it's a big favorite with you but it's also
00:21my favorite video of the week to do so as usual we'll start monday all the way through till today
00:27which is sunday so on monday you haven't seen this one yet but this will be thursday's video recipe
00:34i made a pesto pasta so homemade pesto sauce just basically stirred through pasta and it's lovely
00:42totally well not totally different but quite different to the stuff that you get in the jar
00:47it's just so much fresher and more vibrant and just more delicious in my opinion and it takes
00:53minutes to make you know it's so quick so we've got the pesto mixed through some spaghetti on the
00:59bottom i stirred through some baby tomatoes topped with some black pepper and shaved parmesan and then
01:06i just popped a chicken breast in the air fryer with some seasoning on the top sliced that up pop
01:12that on the top as well with some extra basil so like i said this will be coming on thursday
01:18so this
01:18will be thursday's video recipe highly recommend you watch that one especially if you like your
01:24pesto sauce and then moving on to tuesday we had mince round or mince pie and this was lovely as
01:33well
01:33and i do have a video recipe for a mince round or a mince pie and i will leave it

01:39down below and also in the description box and it's yeah it's lovely it's one of our favorites as well
01:45so this time we've got it with chips i usually do it with mashed potato but chips for a change
01:50that's a very thick minced beef gravy and onion with a bit of puff pastry on the top and of
01:56course
01:56we've got to have baked beans if we're having this kind of thing but i must admit i do prefer
02:02it with
02:02mashed potato but we just weren't feeling like mashed potato on tuesday but yeah this is lovely
02:08with mashed potato as well so like i said i will leave the video recipe that i done for mince
02:13round
02:13down below just in case you want to go and make this for yourself and then moving on to wednesday
02:19we had chicken skewers so we normally have some kind of curry throughout the week so just for a change
02:26i used the chicken skewers you know instead of the loose chicken or the diced chicken so we've got
02:32some white basmati rice on the bottom these are some curry chicken skewers we've got two of those
02:38there's loads of chicken on there as well you know you can't really tell on camera but there's loads
02:42of chicken there and that's just a nice hot spicy curry sauce with some peas mixed through i normally
02:49add onion i've run out of onions can you believe it but yeah so no onions in the curry sauce
02:55but it
02:55was lovely anyway and then moving on to thursday i made tuna pasta so i didn't have a tuna pasta
03:02seasoning sachet that i would normally use so i've just kind of had to wing this one but it was
03:08really
03:08nice so it's penny pasta chopped tomatoes baby tomatoes there's garlic in there onion as well
03:15there's parmesan cheese black pepper salt and obviously the penny pasta as well just topped with
03:22a wee bit of grated parmesan and we also had garlic bread there that you can't see but we did
03:27have garlic
03:28bread as well and that was lovely yeah thoroughly enjoyed that one i love a nice hot spicy tomato based
03:35pasta and then moving on to friday we had sausage rolls so these are the greg's sausage rolls these
03:42are very naughty on the old calories obviously because the pastry and the sausage meat itself is
03:48quite fatty but they are delicious so we've got a jacket potato with some grated cheese inside that's
03:55the sausage rolls there and then some baked beans on the top which will obviously melt that lovely cheese
04:02underneath so it goes all gooey and stringy and just lovely my mouth is actually what
04:07thinking about that runny stringy cheese underneath just a wee bit of salt and pepper
04:12on the top we love the greg's sausage rolls but don't have them very often just because they are
04:18quite high in calories and then moving on to yesterday we had pasta again it was a really
04:24busy day so i just quickly made up a tuna pasta for me and a macaroni cheese for mr what's
04:31for tea he's
04:32not the biggest fan of the tuna pasta although i love it so this is just basically the same as
04:37what i
04:38had the other day but i didn't use chopped tomatoes this time i just used tomato soup i didn't have
04:43any so
04:43that was fine and then i done my usual macaroni cheese for him just my usual standard macaroni cheese
04:50with a few tomatoes at the side just a wee bit of salt and black pepper on the top this
04:56is one
04:57of his favorites he would eat this seven days a week i like macaroni cheese but yeah i'm not the
05:02biggest fan i prefer more of a tomato based pasta and i did forget to film this as i was
05:08putting it
05:09onto the plates so i just remembered at the end oh my goodness so i got my camera out or
05:14my phone out
05:15just to capture this just at the end then moving on to today we were actually out so we went
05:21for a
05:22kind of late lunch early dinner with the people we're going on holiday with so the other couple
05:26that we are going on holiday with as you know we are going to chicago and washington pretty soon
05:31so we're just kind of getting together going over last minute details and that kind of thing
05:36so i went to a local place this is called the clock tower and it's a kind of bistro
05:40cafe bar type place very laid back but the food is lovely and it's quite reasonable as well and
05:46it's in a really nice setting so perfect just to go over sort of last minute travel plans make sure
05:52we've got everything and discuss outfits that kind of thing you know how it is so yeah we went to
05:58the
05:58clock tower just for a wee change and this was only a couple of hours ago so yeah because it
06:03was early
06:04i managed to you know pop it into the video and get this up for you today so this is
06:08just a wee quick
06:09look at the menu they don't have the biggest menu in the world but what they do have is really
06:14nicely done there were a few things i was kind of torn between i said do i get the fish
06:19and chips i said
06:20no don't get the fish and chips so i had a burger so this is a double burger there's coleslaw
06:26and also
06:27chips on the side mr what's for tea had macaroni cheese and to the other two also had macaroni cheese
06:34and the other got a flat iron steak which you can just see the macaroni cheese in the background there
06:40and the other one had the flat iron steak but i didn't want to hover over their plates with my
06:45phone
06:45so that's what they had and this is just a quick look at the menu here and then we had
06:51dessert so this
06:51is what i had this is a lemon posset with a basil gel and meringue on the top and i
06:57wasn't very sure about
06:59this when i had one spoonful but it was lovely the more i get into you know it's quite unusual
07:03but it you know the basil and the lemon worked so well together mr what's for tea just had ice
07:09cream
07:10and the other two had sticky toffee pudding and a brownie and ice cream and it was all delicious so
