00:05hello there folks and a very warm welcome back to what's for tea it's lovely to see you all again
00:12and i hope that i find you very well because lots of you only come over on the sunday so
00:17hello to
00:17you all if you're a sunday viewer exclusively i'm just going to show you what i've made this week
00:22for the family dinners we call it tea you might call it dinner starting off on monday through
00:28till today which is sunday and if i've done a video recipe on anything you see here i'll always
00:33leave a link down in the comments like these square sausages i do have a video recipe for these
00:39which i'll leave down below just in case you can't find them where you are and you do want to
00:44give
00:44them a go we love a square sausage so i've got some mashed potato and there's butter and milk and
00:51parsley in there and this is beautifully smooth looks a bit lumpy there but it's actually really
00:56smooth a couple of the square sliced sausages and yet wait for it we've got to have the baked beans
01:03you know if we're having something like this we just love baked beans and mashed potato it just goes so
01:08well or even baked beans on a jacket potato i just find they go really well with any kind of
01:14potatoes
01:14even chips and then moving on to tuesday i made chili chicken pasta so i used penny pasta for this
01:22and
01:23that's my favorite type of pasta i just think it holds the sauce really well you know i like spaghetti
01:29as well and macaroni but i much prefer penny pasta so it's penny pasta and a spicy tomato sauce
01:35there's peppers garlic onions cayenne pepper crushed chili there is chicken in there all topped with some
01:42parmesan cheese and black pepper and this one was quite spicy although i did add more cayenne pepper
01:50to mine and then moving on to wednesday something a wee bit different for us this was actually a
01:56subscriber recipe request which i have filmed for the channel and this will be up soon and it's cajun
02:03sausage and potatoes and the most delicious gravy or sauce there's only five ingredients so it's very
02:11very simple but let me tell you the flavors and this are right up my street it's quite smoky
02:18quite spicy creamy and just so rich and delicious yeah just perfect like i said i do have a video
02:26recipe for this one on the way and it was you know suggested that i make this in the crock
02:31pot or the
02:32slow cooker which is what i did but apparently you can do this on the stove top as well it
02:37just doesn't
02:38turn out quite as well you know the flavors and the way it cooks down if it's been slow cooked
02:44just works out so much tastier apparently and i will be making this one again i might use a different
02:50sausage next time but yeah do look out for that one and then moving on to thursday we had macaroni
02:57this is one of mr what's for tea's favorite he could eat macaroni five times a week it's okay i
03:03find it
03:04okay i prefer a spicy pasta though where he prefers a cheesy sort of creamier pasta but it was lovely
03:12anyway so i've got the macaroni cheese on the side and it's just sitting there bubbling away i put this
03:17into the air fryer just to brown on the top ever so slightly and then i've got some garlic ciabatta
03:23sticks on the side which may or may not be a wee bit overdone but they're absolutely fine they're
03:29actually darker there than they were in real life it's funny how the color picks up differently or
03:35translates different to camera sometimes i just use my iphone so it's not the best quality anyway
03:41but it's good enough i feel for my wee videos and then moving on to friday i made a chicken
03:48and ham pie
03:49something i haven't done for such a long time and if i can find that i've done a video recipe
03:55on this
03:55i will also leave this down below so it's chicken breast cooked ham and a lovely creamy sauce there's
04:02mushrooms in there as well and there's puff pastry on the top short crisp pastry on the bottom
04:07i roasted some carrots and honey as well a couple of potato croquettes at the back just because i need
04:13to use them up and then a few baby roast potatoes as well and this was lovely we do like
04:20a pie as
04:21you'll have noticed by now if you're a regular and a chicken pie it's just one of those things it's
04:26just lovely and then moving on to yesterday we had tuna pasta so this is using the coleman's tuna
04:33pasta bake you are meant to finish this off in the oven i don't bother these days i think it's
04:38better
04:39served straight from the pan it's just so much more saucy and it doesn't dry out you know the way
04:45that
04:45it does in the oven so i've just been you know serving this straight from the pan so it's pasta
04:50the season and there's milk there's tuna and sweet corn and tomato puree and some grated cheddar
04:56on the top and then moving on to today we had roast chickens this was one of those roast in
05:02the bag
05:03chickens it takes about an hour and a half in the oven you just cook it in the bag and
05:07it keeps all
05:08the heat and the juices inside so it turns out lovely and juicy at the end so that's sage and
05:14onion
05:14stuffing that's that roast chicken breast on the top and it's got a lovely crispy skin as well i take
05:21the skin off i don't like the skin but the skin is on the top this is mr what's for
05:25teas
05:25some broccoli again with potato croquettes just to try and use them up and then some lovely chicken
05:32gravy just for the top and no plate spin this time because i've been getting complaints about the
05:39plate spin making you dizzy so just in honor of that i'm not going to you know spin this plate
05:44but
05:45the plate spin will be back next week so thank you so much for watching if you're still here and
