00:00Hey guys, so we mentioned recently that we'd seen a lot of foxes in Hokkaido. Here's another one.
00:07There does seem to be a lot of them, and they do seem to be fairly brazen, not terribly scared
00:13of the people apparently.
00:17Quite a fine looking creature, aren't they?
00:20So anyway, that's not the purpose of the video.
00:23Before we came to Hokkaido, we spent a lot of time on the internet researching places that we're going to
00:28visit,
00:28places we're going to stay, and looking at websites, and we sent a lot of emails.
00:33And this is one of the websites we looked at for a place to stay for the night.
00:40So it was quite an impressive onsen, some beautiful pictures.
00:44So all these photos are true, but whoever put this website together did a really good job,
00:51because the impression it gives is quite impressive, isn't it?
00:54So we were really looking forward to staying in this place.
00:56We thought, oh, this looks really good.
00:58We're going to have a good time at this place.
00:59This looks very lush and green and comfortable.
01:05So we've been quite looking forward to it, looking forward to this one.
01:08It'll be quite nice, and the onsen, enjoy the onsen, enjoy the green grass,
01:12and the comfortable outside living.
01:18And most of the places we showed you already where we stayed were pretty good.
01:21Even the free ones, just beside the road ones, were pretty good.
01:24And this one we had to pay.
01:25We had to pay because we got a power site.
01:29So we arrived and found that, in actual fact, it was just one corner of the onsen car park.
01:37Right?
01:38They call this their RV park, and all it is is basically a power outlet and a place to put
01:44rubbish.
01:45And we paid, I think it was about 6,000 yen for the night.
01:49There's an onsen over there.
01:50There's toilets over there.
01:52There's no showers and baths.
01:53That's usual with onsens that the only way to have a shower is to go in there and nude up
01:57with the strangers.
02:01So, a bit different from the impression the website gave us.
02:05But it was alright.
02:06They did have a good restaurant, all fairness to them.
02:08They did have a good restaurant, and very good close proximity to the Crane Centre.
