00:04So driving past the Lawson convenience store this morning, we noticed a big line of people queuing up outside in
00:10the rain.
00:11So not unusual, as we've showed you before, quite common to see people lining up for things in Japan.
00:18But we were a bit baffled by this one, so we looked into it and we found out that the
00:22popular television anime series, Blue Lock,
00:26is doing a collaboration with Lawson convenience store.
00:32And if you go in there and buy certain things, they will give you a free A4 size plastic folder
00:39with these guys on the front.
00:42So a set of six apparently, so assuming one for each character, one different one for each character.
00:47Or a laser card, little collectible cards.
00:52And that's what they're all queuing up for.
00:55So the collaborations really work.
00:57We've showed you this sort of thing before.
01:00The same guys, Blue Lock, did a collaboration with Kokos Family Restaurant that was very successful as well.
01:09So collecting anime and manga stuff, even if it's just little cards or little plastic folders and things like that,
01:16very popular, very popular in Japan.
01:18So they will queue in the rain for as long as required to get one of those things.
