00:04So we stumbled upon this couple of machines in a shopping center.
00:09So this one, you put your smartphone in there and it will give it a protective coating.
00:17So they've got three coatings to choose from.
00:20You can have one that's just clear, one that doesn't allow people to look at the screen from either side
00:26of you.
00:26You can only see it directly, directly straight on.
00:30And the other one, something different.
00:32Oh, anti-glare sort of thing.
00:34So, 3000 yen, which is about $20 for that treatment.
00:42The protective coating, protective sheet, whatever you call it.
00:47So that machine does that.
00:50And then the machine next to it is more of just an aesthetic thing.
00:58So you buy the case and it will put your choice of design on there.
01:04So you can just pick a random design or you can upload your photo to the machine.
01:10And it will put your own photo of you and your friends or your cat or your dog or whatever
01:16else you want to put on there.
01:17As it says, three minutes it takes.
01:21And it's the same cost as the other one.
01:24So it's about 3000 yen.
01:26So it's about $20.
01:30So any sort of smartphone type accessories are really popular in Japan, obviously.
01:41So I haven't seen these machines anywhere else, but no doubt they are.
01:48Anyway, there was that.
