00:00Bluey is full of fun hidden details, and these hidden details are what make Bluey such a great show.
00:05And in today's video, we're going to check out some of these details.
00:08Like, if you watch the episode Mum School, then you'll remember Greeny, a green-colored balloon, who is also Bluey's
00:16son.
00:16And at the end of the episode, we see Greeny fly out of the window and gain his freedom.
00:22Remember, all this happens in Season 2 of the show.
00:25But as we know, all the episodes of Bluey are interconnected.
00:29Meaning anything that happens in one episode has an impact in other episodes.
00:33And the detail about this is in the episode The Sign, where we witness Frisky and Radley's wedding.
00:39In one of the scenes, we get a quick shot of Skye, and guess who shows up?
00:43It's Greeny, flying around the sky of Brisbane.
00:46This is really cool detail, which most of you never noticed.
00:50Now this next detail is really funny.
00:52In the episode Bedroom, Bluey is excited to get her own room.
00:56And at the beginning of the episode, we can notice a sticky, purple gecko stuck to the top of the
01:00wall at the end of the hallway.
01:02In one of the scenes where the girls are dividing their stuffed animals and talking about Grandpa Bob, the gecko
01:08peels off the wall for the first time.
01:10And when night comes, they go to sleep, and Bandit takes them to their rooms.
01:14Notice that the gecko peels off a bit more.
01:17Later, when Chili catches Bingo pushing the mini bookshelf, we see it has peeled off a little bit more.
01:24Finally, when they leave Bluey's new room, we notice that at some point, the sticky gecko completely fell off the
01:30wall and landed on the plant at the end of the hallway.
01:33Now this is a really small detail, which is easy to miss, but once you notice it, it's really fun.
01:39In the episode Slide, Bingo and Lila spend their day trying to save a caterpillar.
01:44Eventually, Bingo's caterpillar friend creates a cocoon and transforms into a butterfly.
01:49Bingo and Lila decided to name the butterfly Flappy.
01:53And in the later part of the episode, Flappy the butterfly lands briefly on Bingo and Lila's paw, which is
01:59supposedly a sign of good luck.
02:00And as we already said how Bluey's episodes are interconnected, we notice the same butterfly several times throughout the episode,
02:08The Sign.
02:09Like in the scene where Bluey and Chili are sitting on a bench in a park, we can notice Flappy
02:13in the background.
02:14In the episode, The Sign, when Bandit was trying to sell the healer house, we notice that whenever Bandit came
02:20across this real estate agent, he was rather annoyed.
02:23Well, Bandit looks annoyed because the real estate agent is his old classmate.
02:27First mentioned in Dragon, Bucky Dunstan is a childhood classmate of Bandit who made fun of his drawings.
02:33This prompted a then six-year-old Bandit to give up on art altogether.
02:38Clearly, he hasn't forgotten his childhood bully, even making an offhand remark about Bucky being a real estate agent in
02:45Brisbane.
02:45And the episode, The Sign, remembers this bit of plotting and introduces Bucky Dunstan as the smooth-talking real estate
02:52agent who attempts to sell the healer home.
02:55Although it's a small detail, it's nice to see Bluey making use of the references it sets into motion.
03:01Another interesting detail that almost no one noticed is that the healer family's refrigerator can change the side its door
03:08opens depending on the episode.
03:10For example, in the Dad Baby episode, we see that the fridge handles are on one side, but in the
03:16Pavlova episode, the fridge handles are on the other side, making the door open in the opposite direction.
03:23Surely, they don't buy a new fridge every episode, right?
03:27In the episode, The Sign, other than Rad and Frisky's wedding, we also noticed another thing.
03:33If you paid attention to the episode then, you probably noticed Stripe takes things a little too far, becoming progressively
03:40more aggressive as the party continues.
03:43While it may seem like a funny, bluey detail that's meant for adult viewers, Stripe's behavior clearly rubs his wife,
03:49Trixie, the wrong way.
03:51While Stripe and Trixie have been at odds before, the two can be seen in the background of wedding sequences
03:57having disagreements.
03:58And in one of the scenes, Socks is playing with the wedding cake toppers and making them act out an
04:03argument.
04:04A leading fan theory suggests that Stripe and Trixie's conflicts are so regular that they've influenced Socks.
04:09This even led to multiple theories about Stripe and Trixie getting a divorce, but I don't think it'll happen, because
04:15it only seemed to be a minor disagreement which is common amongst married couples.
04:20As we all know, the long dog is a famous bluey easter egg that appears in every episode.
04:26But in one of the episodes, it appears not once but three times in the same scene, when the healers
04:31say goodbye to Bandit at the airport.
04:34If you pause at just the right moment and look in the background, you'll see a little boy with a
04:39green backpack.
04:40And guess who's on it? Yep, a long dog.
04:43And it's not just there.
04:45If you look the other way at the dog's phone sitting next to Bandit, you'll notice that the smartphone symbol
04:50is none other than the long dog.
04:52But wait, there's more.
04:54We spotted the long dog easter egg once again next to that same dog on a packaged item.
05:00We can see another drawing of the famous easter egg diagonally.
05:03That's three easter eggs in a single scene.
05:05As we know, Bluey is known for referencing other movies and shows.
05:10And it seems that Batman is so famous that he even exists in the Bluey universe.
05:15Besides singing a Christmas song adapted with Batman's name, we also have another Batman reference.
05:20And it can be found in the episode Fruit Bat, where Bluey dreamed of bats.
05:24We see that after seeing Bandit playing rugby, she starts flying and her shadow reaches the moon.
05:30Which is a reference to the first Batman movie, where Batman's ship does exactly the same thing, creating a shadow
05:37over the moon.
05:38Although it may not seem like it nowadays, but Bandit was actually a great athlete in the past.
05:43In the episode Dad Robot, when Chili and the girls are doing maintenance at the Bandit's robot's equipment.
05:49If we look back, we can see a trophy with the number one and a rugby ball next to it.
05:53That would explain Bandit's dreams, where he's simply reliving his glory moments in the past, when he played rugby with
06:01his brothers and friends.
06:02But now, a doubt arises.
06:05Is that ball on the shelf, next to the best player trophy, the same one we see in the double
06:10babysitter episode,
06:11when Uncle Rad and Frisky are saying goodbye along with Bandit and Chili?
06:15Since almost everything in Bluey often interconnects, I wouldn't doubt it.
06:19But honestly, I'd love to see an episode about the story of how that ball got there, wouldn't you?
06:25Returning to talk about the trophy, there's another possibility.
06:28In another episode, when Bluey and Bingo make Bandit go down the stairs in a very unconventional way,
06:34he passes by several photos on the wall, and one of them is of Chili holding a trophy.
06:39And apparently it's also a first place trophy, which she may have won playing field hockey, which she loves so
06:45much.
06:45So, are there two trophies, or did Bandit only win his trophy in his dreams?
06:50Now this next detail is more of a fact.
06:52In the episode Sleepover, when Bingo and Bluey visit their cousin's house for a sleepover,
06:57they take this opportunity to stay up late.
07:00When Muffin arrives very tired from not taking her nap, the girls have more fun than they expected.
07:05And in one of the scenes, the healers are playing a fun game.
07:08We can see Chili comes out wearing a uniform.
07:10And in fact, this is her actual work uniform.
07:13Many Bluey viewers may not know this, but Chili works at airport security.
07:18And this uniform is actually her work uniform.
07:21In the episode Tradies, we can notice an important detail.
07:25So far, Chippy is the only dog we see using tattoos.
07:28Currently, he has two tattoos, a tiger on one arm and two cherries on the other.
07:33And this is exactly the other detail, Chippy's tattoos.
07:38In fact, let's talk about just one of them, which is the cherry tattoo.
07:42Most likely, the second tattoo that Chippy has on his arm is due to some love tribute he made to
07:47his girlfriend.
07:48This is because her name is Cherry, making it clear that the tattoo is really a proof of love from
07:53Chippy to his girlfriend.
07:54So, these are some of the cool little details we found in Bluey.
07:58And as always, we'll see you all in the next video.
08:00So, let's see you all in the next video.
08:00All in the next video.
