00:00Every show has some sort of mysteries and our favorite show Peppa Pig is no different
00:04and in today's video we're going to share some of them.
00:06As we all know, there are talking vegetables in Peppa Pig
00:09and their existence by itself is already a big mystery.
00:13On top of that we've got Super Potato,
00:15who basically is the Superman of Peppa Pig's universe.
00:18So, where does Super Potato's powers come from?
00:21This question is really intriguing.
00:23Whenever we see Super Potato coming on the scene,
00:26he almost always appears flying from the sky
00:28and unlike other talking vegetables like Mrs. Carrot,
00:31who uses a thick rope to simulate that she is flying,
00:35which even the children in the audience notice,
00:37Super Potato really has the ability to fly.
00:40Moreover, he also has unreal strength,
00:43as we see when he manages to save Mr. Potato from his car where he got stuck.
00:47So, the big question is,
00:49where do these powers of this talking potato come from?
00:52Was he born with them or did he acquire them over time?
00:55One of the popular Peppa Pig theory
00:57states that the talking vegetables
00:59were the results of some sort of scientific experiment.
01:02But if they were really the result of an experiment,
01:05then why didn't other vegetables get the superpower?
01:08We can't say for sure if this is true or not,
01:10but surely this is still one of the biggest mysteries in Peppa Pig.
01:14Aunt Dottie is probably the most mysterious character in Peppa Pig.
01:18So, where does Aunt Dottie live?
01:21Peppa and George have an aunt named Dottie.
01:23We know she is their aunt,
01:25but we aren't sure if she is Daddy Pig's sister or Mummy Pig's sister.
01:29What we do know is that Dottie doesn't know Peppa and George very well,
01:33at least not from what they remember.
01:35Also, she lives very far away from England,
01:38so far that when she sends them a gift,
01:41which is a shiny wheeled horse,
01:43she has to write a letter explaining where she is from.
01:46This letter makes it clear that she is in a distant country.
01:49We still don't know exactly where Aunt Dottie lives,
01:52but we can tell you where she definitely does not live.
01:55First, she does not live in England,
01:57since that is where Peppa and George already live.
02:00She also does not live in France,
02:03which is the country next to England.
02:05This is because when Peppa's family goes to France,
02:08they meet Delphine and her family, not Aunt Dottie.
02:11The same thing happens with the USA.
02:13When Peppa's family goes to Hollywood to receive an award
02:16and meet Super Potato, they travel all across America.
02:20But Aunt Dottie is not mentioned or seen.
02:22Some fans think Aunt Dottie might live in Russia,
02:25which is a very big country, even bigger than the USA.
02:28This idea comes from an episode where Madame Gazelle
02:31plays a game about different countries.
02:33In this episode, George wears a special Russian outfit
02:36that could have been a gift from Aunt Dottie for International Day.
02:40This seems like a good guess,
02:41but the people who make the show haven't confirmed it yet.
02:45Going back to the Potatoes in Peppa Pig,
02:47there's another mystery surrounding them.
02:49Are Super Potato and Mr. Potato brothers?
02:52This is because the two characters
02:54are almost completely identical.
02:56So much so that many even thought
02:57that they were the same person
02:59until the episode where Super Potato saves Mr. Potato.
03:02So are these potatoes related?
03:04In the show, we have seen that the characters
03:06who are very similar, like Daddy Pig and Uncle Pig,
03:09are brothers, they have small differences in their beards
03:12that distinguish them.
03:14However, in the case of the two luminous characters
03:17we're talking about,
03:18even their mustaches are identical,
03:20with only their outfits differing.
03:22So, the possibility arises that makes perfect sense
03:25are Super Potato and Mr. Potato twin brothers.
03:29Another popular mystery in Peppa Pig
03:32has to do with George,
03:33and some of you might have guessed it already.
03:36The mystery is, is George adopted?
03:38As we know, the full name of main character of the show
03:42is Peppa Pig,
03:43and she is referred to as such
03:45by several characters in the show.
03:47However, when it comes to her brother,
03:49we practically never hear anyone referring to him
03:51as George Pig.
03:53Similarly, the parents of the two
03:55always have their last names spoken
03:57when they are mentioned,
03:58always being called Daddy Pig and Mommy Pig.
04:01So, does George not have the last name Pig?
04:04If that's not his last name,
04:06then what would it be?
04:07George's last name is never mentioned in the show.
04:10But, in the episode Edmund Elephant's Birthday,
04:13Peppa's family receives a mail
04:15with an invitation for George,
04:16inviting him to attend the birthday party
04:18of Edmund Elephant.
04:20In the invitation,
04:21they refer to him by his full name
04:23and use the surname Pig at the end,
04:26George Pig.
04:27However, if you stop to analyze,
04:29perhaps Edmund's family simply assumed
04:31that George had the last name Pig
04:32and put it on the invitation.
04:34This idea is supported by the fact
04:36that we never hear anyone in his family
04:39calling him by the last name Pig.
04:41If we look closely at the show Peppa Pig,
04:44we can see a fun pattern
04:45with the names of the characters.
04:47Almost all the kids have names
04:49where the first letter of their first name
04:51matches the first letter of their last name,
04:53which also tells us what kind of animal they are.
04:56For example, take Edmund Elephant.
04:58His last name is Elephant.
05:00And both his first name and last name
05:02start with the letter E.
05:04The same thing happens with his sister,
05:06Emily Elephant.
05:07There are other characters
05:08that fit this pattern too.
05:10For instance, Peppa Pig has both her first
05:12and last name starting with the letter P.
05:15Then we have the twin sisters,
05:17Peggy and Pandora Panda,
05:19who also start with P, just like Peppa.
05:21And we can't forget Pedro Pony,
05:24whose name follows the same rule.
05:25And in addition to the characters
05:27we've already talked about,
05:29we can also look at the entire Rabbit family.
05:32This family includes the two youngest members,
05:34who are named Rose and Rob,
05:36and their older siblings, Rebecca and Richard.
05:39All of them share the last name Rabbit.
05:42Other examples of this naming pattern
05:44include Susie Sheep and Danny Dog,
05:46who also have matching initials
05:48for their first and last names.
05:50However, Peppa's little brother is named George Pig,
05:53and that's where things get a bit different.
05:55His initials are G and P,
05:58which don't match like the other characters.
06:00If George had always been part of the pig family
06:03and they picked his name,
06:05they might have chosen a name
06:06that also starts with P.
06:08Of course, it's possible that George was adopted
06:10and already had his name from the orphanage,
06:13which would explain why it doesn't fit the pattern.
06:15But we also have other characters
06:17who don't follow the same rule,
06:19like Peppa and George's cousins,
06:21Chloe and Alexander.
06:22But so far, we haven't heard anything
06:24from the show's creators about this mystery.
06:27Mrs. Rabbit is one of the well-known characters
06:30in Peppa Pig,
06:31and she's well-known for having a lot of jobs.
06:33But you should know
06:34that there is more than one Miss Rabbit.
06:36So far, no one knows
06:38how many Miss Rabbits are there exactly,
06:40and many fans get a bit mixed up
06:42and think that Mrs. Rabbit
06:44is actually Rebecca's mom.
06:45But that's not correct.
06:47In reality, Mrs. Rabbit
06:49is the aunt of Peppa's friend
06:50because she is the twin sister
06:52of Mummy Rabbit.
06:54This becomes clear
06:55in the episode called
06:56Mummy Rabbit's Bump.
06:58In that episode,
06:59we see both Mrs. Rabbit
07:01and Mummy Rabbit at the hospital.
07:03Mrs. Rabbit is working as a nurse,
07:05while Mummy Rabbit is there
07:06to have her twins.
07:08Speaking of twins,
07:09this brings up another question.
07:11Just how many Rabbit sisters are there?
07:13We know that rabbits
07:14tend to have a lot of babies,
07:16like Mummy and Daddy Rabbit,
07:17who have four children,
07:19Rebecca, Richard,
07:21and the twins,
07:22Rose and Rob.
07:23But what about Mrs. Rabbit?
07:25How many sisters does she have?
07:28Interestingly,
07:28when the Pig family travels to France,
07:31they meet a character
07:32who looks just like Mrs. Rabbit
07:33and does many of the same jobs.
07:36This French version of Mrs. Rabbit,
07:38who calls herself Mademoiselle Léal,
07:41which means Mrs. Rabbit in French,
07:43is a souvenir seller,
07:44a helicopter pilot,
07:46and even a professional rescuer.
07:48But wait, there's more.
07:50It seems that Mrs. Rabbit
07:52might have other sisters
07:53in the United States too.
07:55When Peppa and her family
07:56go to Hollywood,
07:57after finding a golden ticket
07:59to be in Super Potato's movie,
08:01they arrive in New York.
08:02They actually fly there
08:03in a plane piloted by Mrs. Rabbit.
08:06As soon as they land,
08:07they meet another Mrs. Rabbit,
08:08but this time, she's American.
08:10Just like the other rabbits,
08:12she does many jobs,
08:13she's a taxi driver,
08:14an elevator operator,
08:15and even sells ice cream.
08:17As Peppa and her family
08:19travel on their way to Hollywood,
08:20they keep running into more Mrs. Rabbits
08:22in different places.
08:23This makes us wonder,
08:25is this rabbit family
08:26really spread all over the world?
08:28Or do all adult rabbits
08:29just happen to look and sound the same?
08:31So, these were some of the mysteries
08:33we found in Peppa Pig.
08:35And as always,
08:36we'll see you all in the next video.
