Spotting animation mistakes in Bluey is difficult but also equally fun. Some of these mistakes happen so quickly that no one even notices them. But our sharp eye managed to catch some of them. And we are going to check out some of them in this video.

00:00Spotting animation mistakes in Bluey is difficult, but also equally fun.
00:04Some of these mistakes happen so quickly that no one even notices them.
00:08But our sharp eye managed to catch some of them,
00:11and we are going to check out some of them in this video.
00:14Like in the episode Pass the Parcel, we noticed the weirdest error yet.
00:18Lucky's dad is hosting the game of Pass the Parcel, but he has changed the rule.
00:23And looking at the parents' reaction, it's safe to say that they aren't pleased with it.
00:27But wait, there's a mistake here.
00:30If we zoom on to Jasper G's mum, we can notice her hand looks a bit weird.
00:35She literally has two arms at one side.
00:38Seems like the animators misplaced her hand.
00:41This next animation error is kinda similar to the one that we saw in the episode Horsey Ride,
00:47where Bandit's face was looking a bit weird.
00:49But this time, it has to do with Bluey.
00:51In the episode Dirt, Bluey and Bingo are having a lot of fun playing in a massive pile of mud.
00:57And during the scene where Judo goes to her home because she can't play in the mud,
01:01we can notice Bandit watering the giant pile of mud.
01:05And while doing so, he sprays some of the water onto Bingo and Bluey's face.
01:10And there was an error right there.
01:12You didn't notice it?
01:13Don't worry.
01:14We will slow down the scene for you.
01:16Right at the moment the water lands on Bluey's face,
01:19we can notice the fur on her face completely disappeared.
01:22She looks identical to how Bandit looks in the Horsey Ride episode.
01:26Like father, like daughter.
01:28No one knew this error till now because it happened so fast.
01:32The error was there for a microsecond.
01:34But our watchful eyes managed to catch it.
01:36Moving on, in the episode Fruit Bat, we see a really interesting error.
01:41In one of the scenes where Bandit is sleeping on the living room floor,
01:44we can see Chili beside him with her hockey stick.
01:47And we all know Chili loves playing field hockey.
01:49In the scene, she's taping her hockey stick.
01:52And we can see she already made a few rounds with it.
01:55But when Bluey enters the scene, the yellow tape around the hockey stick
01:58disappears as if Chili never wrapped it.
02:01Even though she just did it.
02:02It happens from one frame to another.
02:04Maybe the animators forgot that the stick was already wrapped.
02:07Now, for this next animation error,
02:10we have to go through multiple episodes of Bluey.
02:12Let's begin from the very first episode of Season 1, Magic Xylophone.
02:17In this episode, when Bluey and Bingo are running through their room,
02:20we can notice a photo frame in the nightstand.
02:23Let's look at the photo closely.
02:25In it, we can notice that Bluey has one eye closed and her tongue out,
02:28and Bingo has her mouth closed.
02:30But in the episode Veranda Santa, which is 52nd of first season,
02:35we can also see the same photo frame in the nightstand.
02:38But the mistake is that the photo is slightly different than before.
02:41Earlier, Bluey had one eye closed, her tongue out, and Bingo had her mouth closed.
02:46But in this photo, Bluey's tongue is not out, and also Bingo's mouth is open.
02:51But that's not all.
02:52In the episode Bedroom, which is 2nd of 3rd season,
02:55the photo has again changed slightly.
02:57This time, Bluey has both of her eyes open unlike before,
03:00where she had only one of her eyes open.
03:02Like here, we can see these 3 pictures are different than each other.
03:06Maybe animators forgot what the original photo looked like.
03:09Going back to the Fruit Bat episode, we noticed a really cool mistake.
03:14In the scene, where Bandit is drying Bluey's head,
03:16the bathroom door is open, and Bingo is inside.
03:19But that's not the mistake.
03:21Look at the window.
03:22We can see that, at least through it, it's still daytime,
03:25which would be normal if the kids weren't already getting ready for bed,
03:28as it's already nighttime, as seen at the beginning of the episode.
03:32Plus, when they head to the bedroom,
03:34the window there shows it's already dark.
03:37Maybe the healer house has different time zones in different rooms.
03:40In the episode Magic Xylophone, Bluey, Bingo, and Bandit
03:44are playing a game of pretend where Bluey and Bingo have a magic xylophone
03:48that can freeze Bandit in space and time.
03:50And in one scene, Bluey and Bingo freeze Bandit in the garden
03:54and make him hold many toys and plushies.
03:57Moments later, when the sisters unfreeze Bandit,
04:00he tosses everything on the ground.
04:02But the mistake is, moments later,
04:05Bluey and Bandit go back to the garden.
04:07But there are no toys and plushies there.
04:09Everything has disappeared.
04:11Knowing Bluey and Bingo, I doubt they cleared it up.
04:14Even if they did, they need Flash Speed to clean it up so fast.
04:18Now this next error is really confusing.
04:20In the episode Mums and Dads,
04:23when Indy and Rusty pretend to be parents,
04:25they struggle to agree on who should get a job.
04:28Later, Indy finds it hard to get a babysitter,
04:30and Bluey pretends Rusty is her baby.
04:33And I have to say, I felt sorry for Rusty
04:35when Bluey forced him to wear kids' clothes
04:37and pretend to be a baby.
04:39But that's not the mistake here.
04:41In the scene where Bluey is literally chasing Rusty
04:44with a baby stroller to get him back to playing,
04:46they pass by two kids on a swing.
04:48But these kids don't attend this school
04:50because they're Bingo's classmates.
04:52And we all know Bingo and Bluey go to different schools.
04:55Seems like even animators got confused about the characters.
04:58But I don't blame them.
04:59There are so many characters in Bluey
05:01that it can be hard to keep track of everyone.
05:03In the episode Spy Games,
05:05where the kids pretend to be secret agents
05:07with a mission to collect very tricky items,
05:09we find a very quick animation error.
05:12In one of the scenes,
05:13Bandit is making barbecue with other parents around him.
05:15But suddenly, Bandit loses control of the barbecue
05:19and the fire gets too big.
05:20And at this exact moment,
05:22if we look at Chili,
05:23we'll notice her face is almost all brown for a scene.
05:27Maybe Chili got so scared
05:28that even her face changed colors.
05:31Now this next animation error is up for a debate.
05:34In the episode Keepy Uppy,
05:35we notice something very interesting.
05:38In the scene where Bluey wakes up
05:40and is getting out of her bed,
05:41we notice that something is missing in that bed.
05:44Do you know what I am talking about?
05:46Well, I am talking about the pillow.
05:49There's literally no pillow on the bed.
05:51We've seen Bluey's bed before,
05:53and there's always a pillow there.
05:54There are only two explanations for this.
05:57First, Chili forgot to put pillow on Bluey's bed.
06:00And second, the animators simply forgot to draw the pillow,
06:03which I think is the actual reason.
06:06Now let's talk about the mistake
06:07in one of the most loved Bluey episodes.
06:10And I am indeed talking about the camping episode.
06:12In one of the scenes where Bluey and her family
06:15are gathered with Uncle Stripe's family
06:17by a campfire roasting marshmallow,
06:19we noticed a very funny error.
06:22When Stripe closes his eyes,
06:23we can see that one of his eyes closes
06:25in the opposite direction as if it were upside down.
06:29The one on the outside is closed normally.
06:32The one on the inside of the scene is like it's inverted,
06:34and we literally saw all of this in the blink of an eye.
06:38In the episode, Duck Cake,
06:40Bluey wants to help Bandit make Bingo's birthday cake.
06:43But first, she must put away her toys.
06:46But nothing can tempt her to clean up
06:48until Bandit drops the cake.
06:50And when he does so, he gets quite upset.
06:53But that's not the mistake.
06:54If we zoom onto the background,
06:56we can notice the long dog Easter egg on top of the cupboard.
06:59But the issue is, in the end part of the episode,
07:03Chili returns home.
07:04And in one of the scenes where she's standing
07:06in front of the cupboard we saw earlier,
07:08there's no long dog on top of it.
07:10But earlier, there was.
07:12This is either an animation error,
07:14or the long dog simply appears in one scene only.
07:18In the episode, Christmas Swim,
07:20the entire Healer family gather in Nana's house
07:23to celebrate Christmas.
07:25And in the later part of the episode,
07:27the whole family goes out to the pool for a swim.
07:30Here, Muffin and Chili are playing a game of pretend,
07:32where Muffin is pretending to be an office worker.
07:35When Chili calls Muffin,
07:37saying that the fairy is about to leave,
07:39Muffin pretends to put on her work clothes quickly.
07:42And while doing so, a mistake occurs.
07:45Normally, Muffin's dark fur on her face
07:47starts from her eye.
07:49But in this scene, the dark fur moves down a little
07:52and starts near her cheek.
07:54Now that's a cheeky mistake.
07:56So, these were some of the animation errors
07:59we found in Bluey.
