00:00If you're a fan of Bluey like us, you know that this show is packed with clever little details that
00:04often go unnoticed.
00:06Today, we're diving into some of the hidden gems and small details that we've found in Bluey that make this
00:11show so special.
00:12As we know, even the background characters of Bluey are interesting, and so far, we've uncovered many details about the
00:19background characters.
00:20And today, we are going to share some interesting details about the Ice Cream Lady.
00:25If you have paid enough attention, then you would know that Bluey and Bingo always buy ice cream from this
00:30lady.
00:31And throughout the episodes, we've seen the Ice Cream Lady growing her business.
00:36Unsurprisingly, the first time we saw her was in the episode Ice Cream.
00:39And at the time, she used to sell ice cream in a small cart.
00:43And after that, we saw her selling ice cream at the market in the episode The Quiet Game.
00:48And finally, when we saw her in the episode Tradies, she now owned an ice cream truck.
00:52This is a minor but a really cool detail.
00:56As we know that Jean-Luc speaks French, the episode where Bluey meets Jean-Luc is simply unforgettable.
01:02And one of the things that stands out the most is the fact that even though they speak different languages,
01:07they both still manage to play and form a beautiful friendship.
01:11But did you know that if you watch the camping episode in French, Jean-Luc will speak English?
01:15Yes. In the French version of the show, the language is reversed.
01:20Bluey speaks French and Jean-Luc speaks English.
01:23That's so cool, isn't it?
01:24As we know, in Bluey, every background character has a role.
01:28They are not shown just for the sake of it.
01:30They are directly or indirectly involved in the episodes.
01:34This is what makes Bluey so fun to watch.
01:36For example, in the episode Market, we meet two ponies, Buttermilk and Biscuits.
01:42And this is not the only episode we see these two in.
01:45Because in the episode Pass the Parcel, we can see them again.
01:48But this time, we didn't see Biscuit.
01:51And also, in the episode Curry Quest, we see them again.
01:54And this time, we can see both Buttermilk and Biscuits.
01:57It seems like they appear every time there's some sort of event or affair going on.
02:03Just by looking, we can see that Bluey looks identical to Bandit.
02:06Whereas Bingo looks identical to Chili.
02:09But did you know, there's something that Bingo and Bandit and Bluey and Chili have in common.
02:13In the end part of the episode, Bob Bilby, when the healers are watching the fireworks,
02:18we can notice that everyone in the family has a spot on the back.
02:21But the interesting part is, Bingo's spot matches with Bandit.
02:25And Bluey's spot matches with Chili.
02:28Interesting, isn't it?
02:29One of the most asked questions about Bluey is, do other animal species exist or not?
02:35And so far, we've only seen birds and lizards.
02:37And in our previous video, we told you guys about the episode Tradies.
02:41Where if you look closely, there's a painting in the corner showing a cave dog holding a cat in its
02:46hand.
02:46As if it had hunted it.
02:48So, this proves that there were cats in Bluey.
02:51At least in the past.
02:52Other than cats, we found that cows may also exist in Bluey.
02:56And the proof for this can be found in the episode Kids.
03:00In the episode, when Bluey is passing by the food aisle, we see milk cartoons stacked on the shelf behind
03:05her.
03:06And if you zoom in the box, Gwen can see it has the udder's symbol.
03:10And in the real world, udders are mainly used to symbolize the cow's milk.
03:14So, basically it means that cows do exist in Bluey's world.
03:18But they probably are just farm animals.
03:20The surprise episode of Bluey got everyone debating about whether Bluey will marry Jean-Luc or Mackenzie.
03:27Well, one of the earlier episodes was probably giving us a hint as to what will happen later in the
03:31episodes.
03:32When Bluey and Jean-Luc meet, they seem to get along quite well.
03:36In fact, we could even say that it was love at first sight.
03:39To begin with, Bluey gets too excited when she's with Jean-Luc.
03:42And in fact, Bluey even makes a drawing of them.
03:45But this does not end here.
03:46Apparently, this drawing was very important for Bluey since it continues to appear in other episodes.
03:52They show it to us on the wall in one of the episodes.
03:54And we can also see it in the episode The Show.
03:58Is Bluey waiting for Jean-Luc to return so that she can give the drawing to him?
04:02Let's hope that we can see Bluey and Jean-Luc reunion in the near future.
04:06If you have watched Bluey for a long time,
04:09then you would know that the long dog is a famous Bluey easter egg that has appeared in every episode
04:14so far.
04:15But the detail is, in some episodes, the long dog appears in such a clever way that it's very hard
04:20to notice.
04:21For example, in the episode Sleepy Time, Bingo is exploring the planets in her dream.
04:26And here, we can notice the long dog in rather unusual way.
04:30Right at this point, if we zoom in at the stars, we can notice a constellation.
04:35And if we connect the stars, it creates a long dog.
04:38Seriously, this is such a clever way to show the long dog.
04:42And that's not all.
04:43As we know, the long dog always appears alone.
04:46But that's not the case in the episode Double Babysitter.
04:50In this episode, Rad and Frisky babysit Bluey and Bingo.
04:54And in the end part of the episode, when Rad and Frisky are sitting in the balcony watching the night
04:59sky,
05:00we can notice two long dogs in the scene.
05:02This is probably the first time that we have seen two long dogs together.
05:06In the episode Grandad, we got to know a little more about Chili's childhood.
05:11In fact, she used to play in this very spot when she was a puppy.
05:15Well, when Chili and her daughter start a race to catch grandpa on one of the trees,
05:19we can see that Chili's name is written on one of them.
05:22So, for this reason, we believe that Chili was also quite naughty when she was at the age of Bluey
05:28and Bingo.
05:29And, of course, she decided to mark her territory.
05:33Another cool detail that only eagle-eyed viewers like us can notice was another photo,
05:38but this time in the healer's house.
05:41In the chest episode, if you look carefully at the wall behind Bingo,
05:45you'll notice there's a photo of Bingo herself with a cake in front of her.
05:49This episode is the 10th of the third season,
05:52but the photo we see was taken on Bingo's birthday,
05:55which happened in episode 44 of the second season.
05:58And from the photo, it seems like the duck-shaped cake Bandit made
06:02didn't get much use at Bingo's party.
06:04Many people have no idea,
06:06but there are several references to Bluey within the Bluey series itself.
06:11One of them happens in the episode The Quiet Game,
06:13where we see the book that illustrates the episode Fruit Bat
06:16in the window of a bookstore that Bandit and the girls pass by.
06:20Another time we see self-reference within the series
06:23is in the episode Show and Tell,
06:25where we see both Bluey and Bingo
06:28painted on an electrical box by the roadside.
06:30But even more interesting thing
06:32is that this same electrical box exists in real life
06:35and is painted exactly like the episode represents it.
06:38And in the episode Kids,
06:40we found a really intriguing detail.
06:42During a quick trip to the supermarket,
06:45when Bandit and Bluey are passing by Toys Isle,
06:47we can see a toy in the background.
06:49And on the cover,
06:51we can see a blue dog that resembles Bluey.
06:53And not only that,
06:55on the cover,
06:56we also see a picture of a house.
06:58And if you look at it closely,
07:00you'll know it looks very similar to another house.
07:02I'm talking about Bluey's house.
07:04So the question here is,
07:05is Bluey a big celebrity in her world?
07:08Maybe she is.
07:09And talking about celebrities,
07:10did you know Winton's dad
07:12is a very big celebrity in Bluey's world?
07:14Now,
07:15I know you're all probably thinking that we're lying,
07:17but we're not.
07:18We're saying this because in the episode Movies,
07:20when the healers are in the cinema,
07:22we can see a movie poster in the background.
07:24And in the poster,
07:25we can see the movie's protagonist
07:27who looks identical to Cornelius.
07:28If we compare them side by side,
07:31you will think that it is Cornelius with a moustache.
07:34So,
07:34is Cornelius a movie superstar?
07:36What do you think?
07:38And talking about Cornelius,
07:39in the episode TV Shop,
07:41we see Cornelius picking up Winton from school.
07:44And on the rear glass of Cornelius' car,
07:46we notice some sort of drawing.
07:48But it is not clear.
07:49But later in the episode,
07:50we see his car again parked at the pharmacy.
07:53And we can see the drawing better.
07:54And in the drawing,
07:56we can notice that there's a child,
07:58a male adult,
07:59and where another character should be,
08:00it looks like someone tried to erase it.
08:02This detail basically hints
08:04that Winton's parents were divorced.
08:06And also,
08:07did you know that Cornelius met with Terrier's mom
08:10for the first time in the same episode?
08:12So,
08:13these were some of the tiny details
08:15that we spotted in Bluey.
08:16And as always,
08:17we'll catch you all in the next video.
