00:44So that answer had a lot of people thinking,

01:46But Jason LaConfora reported, citing multiple league sources,
01:52that the 49ers have reached a point where they simply want
01:56the administrative Brandon Iyuk headache resolved
02:00and that they will officially cut ties with him and move on
02:05with an outright release expected to occur
02:08before players report for training camp in late July.
02:15I'll believe that when I see it.
02:17You know, he's a longtime NFL insider,
02:19so I'm sure he has sources that are telling him that, no doubt.
02:23And with that said, man, we all kind of got to know
02:28the Shanahan's a little bit.
02:30And with what he's done on social media here recently,
02:34I just feel like heels are dug even deeper.
02:40But they have to get him reinstated.
02:43He's got to apply for reinstatement.
02:45Then he's got to show up or plan on showing up for training camp.
02:48And maybe that will be the key.
02:50If he's reinstated and they are, you know,
02:53forced to take him off the reserved left squad list,
02:58maybe, just maybe, at that point, they'll cut ties with him.
03:03And then he'll be available.
03:04We'll see what happens after that.
03:05I think most people assume that Washington would then go ahead and sign him.
03:12Man, that will be quite the moment if he's released in Washington
03:19a day or two later, signs him.
03:22The only thing at this point that would really tick me off
03:26would be a trade for him, which is not going to happen,
03:29or a contract that has a lot of guaranteed money
03:35and some back-end hurt for the organization if it doesn't work out.
03:39This has to be a contract where he is in prove-it mode
03:45after two years of not playing
03:48and, at the very least, some erratic behavior.

04:44And when he gets to Washington,
04:46of course I was expecting to see the name Brandon Ayuk there.
04:51But I did not see that name.
04:53The name that I saw was Tyreek Hill.
04:58Aaron Schatz writes,
04:59the caveat here is, if healthy,
05:03but the commanders could use a solid number two receiver
05:06and a field stretcher who is a step up from Deami Brown.
05:11They are currently third in cap space,
05:13so the economics work for them.
05:15Jaden Daniels is a dynamic young quarterback
05:18who could get the ball out to Tyreek Hill.
05:21I think very early on we mentioned Tyreek Hill once or twice,
05:26but we haven't mentioned him a lot.
05:30But God, a healthy Tyreek Hill?
05:33Now, let's talk a little bit about Tyreek Hill.
05:36The first thing is, he is 32 years old.
05:40He is coming off a serious injury last year
05:46with the Dolphins, dislocated left knee,
05:49multiple torn ligaments, including the ACL.
05:55Indications were at the time when he had this surgery
05:59back in early October of last year
06:02that the surgery went well
06:03and that he would be all good and ready to play
06:06come the beginning of the 2026 season.
06:10He ended up playing just four games last year
06:12before the injury in Miami.
06:14And by the way, in four games last year,
06:1821 catches, 265 yards.
06:21So he was already averaging,
06:23and he got hurt in that fourth game,
06:24already averaging seven catches a game.
06:29Yeah, I'm sorry.
06:30He was averaging just over five catches a game.
06:33Excuse me.
06:34Just over five catches a game.
06:36But still, still dangerous, still a guy
06:40that, you know, is fear-inducing to a defense.
06:45The year before, it was 81 catches, six touchdowns.
06:50In 2023, it was 119 catches, 1,800 yards,
06:56and 13 touchdowns.
06:58He's getting older.
06:59However, Washington doesn't seem to be into,
07:02you know, older receivers.
07:05You know, the analytics, you know,
07:08discussion last summer with Terry McLaurin
07:11as to why they didn't want to give him the deal
07:12that Terry wanted was a part of the calculus,
07:16and maybe that's why they're not interested in digs,
07:19and maybe that's why they would not be interested
07:22in Tyreek Hill.
07:25But, man, Tyreek Hill,
07:28and I'm talking about Tyreek Hill,
07:30the way he has played on this team this year
07:34with Jaden Daniels and Terry and Chig.
07:36By the way, he had,
07:39he had Stefan Diggs landing with the Raiders of all teams.
07:46The Raiders are very short on wide receivers right now.
07:51They've got, obviously, a big-time tight end
07:55and a running back that they believe in.
07:57You know, they drafted him pretty high last year
08:00as a rookie,
08:01but they don't really have any big-time wide receivers.
08:05So he had Diggs going to the Raiders.
08:08He had Debo Samuel signing with the Chiefs,
08:12which I thought was kind of interesting,
08:16and he did not have, at this point,
08:20Brandon Iyuk with anybody else
08:24except for the 49ers
08:26as they try to clean up that situation.
08:29Tyreek Hill.
08:31What do you guys think about Tyreek Hill?

08:37and he's out there over the next month
