00:16name getting plenty of attention is forward mctavish of the anaheim ducks he's got skill
00:22grit term and upside teams calling it would be a quality hockey trade i'm told to see how this goes
00:29so it's mason mctavish yes who's 25 23 23 he's a third pick overall from the 2021 draft
00:37he's played the last four full seasons and there's they had a lot of high hopes for him right
00:46they signed to a big contract it was going to pay him i think it's seven million a year for
00:49six years
00:50so he signed for several more years um and being 23 it sounds like it's a good deal um however
00:55he
00:55hasn't quite lived up to the billing we did the third pick overall and there's really high
01:01expectations and this is first full year in the nhl he had 43 points in 80 games the next year
01:07he was
01:08only he only played 64 games but he had 42 points almost matched that total and actually had more
01:12goals with 19 then he went up to 76 games but uh in 22 goals that was a nice little

01:19points then last year he played 75 games he signed the big contract before this past season
01:25and he ended up with 41 points and 17 goals in 75 games so that's a step in the wrong

01:34um and has been a minus 54 player in his 304 games in his career now given you're playing the
01:41anaheim so
01:41anaheim wasn't always all that great they made the playoffs this past season but prior to that
01:46nothing special so he's a guy who's got talent but if you're talking about a dylan larkin move
01:55and who knows if anaheim is on his precious list of teams to go to but if i don't even

03:20third overall in the draft comes to a team that would would have some some talent around you know
03:26whether he would be playing with uh with the brinkett or does he play with raymond either way
03:31you know that would be it would be a nice pairing to have and maybe his numbers shoot up dramatically
