00:00Hey guys quick video for our castles and old buildings in Japan playlist
00:03So we're still up at that very northern tip of Hokkaido, the very northern tip of Japan and spotted this
00:10out in a farmer's field
00:12Now have a look at this
00:15thick thick concrete walls
00:18narrow slots at the front there
00:22That has to be a World War two bunker right so there are no signs up about it
00:26There was nothing mentioned on any of the guide the guide maps or anything like that
00:30But I'm guessing that's because it's out in the middle of a farmer's field
00:34So they don't want people going at they're looking at it, of course
00:37But it just has to be it does say in the history of soya Cape soya that that there were
00:43concrete bunkers here in World War two so
00:45It's got to be the the front there's really narrow classic
00:49World War two concrete bunker and
00:51Then the back is where the entrance is which is where we're going at the moment around the back
00:55So we couldn't get to it. Of course, it's on private land. We're not going to go out there on
00:59the farmer's field
01:01But why would the farmer destroy it? Obviously, it's an excellent thing to store things in very harsh weather in
01:08this area as you guys know meters and meters of snow in winter
01:12so
01:13Be an excellent excellent building to store things in wouldn't it?
01:17And there's the back entrance so thin slits at the front narrow at the back
01:21It's got to be a world war two bunker hasn't it more videos
01:25coming soon
