00:20Alright, to start off, tell us first more about your background.
00:24Paano ka ba napasok sa mundo ng pagninegosyo? Ano bang una naging trabaho natin?
00:28Okay, so actually, statistician ako by profession back 2012 to 2017.
00:35You know, yun yung pag nasa corporate ka, yun yung magmamotivate sa'yo to explore more.
00:43So that's why I'm in this business right now.
00:46So bakit medyo malayo? Paano ka napasok? What made you decide to enter bar business?
00:52Actually, noong college ako, medyo mahilig din akong uminom.
00:57But we created this safe space back in 2024 with my business partner, Maffi, and my husband, Alan.
01:05Kasi we were navigating depression during that time.
01:08You know, pandemic, and then a lot of businesses closed.
01:12Some of our businesses closed.
01:15So that's why we were so depressed.
01:18And so that's why when we were having dinner with Maffi and Alan, parang we were thinking of our safe
01:26space.
01:27So that's why this was created.
01:31Not only this is your business or safe space, but also kahit pa pano, this helped you with your mental
01:37health.
01:38So ang daming nangyari. How did you conceptualize the business?
01:43We have this safe space. What would be our mission?
01:45So we have three missions.
01:47One is we share this safe space with our community through proactive engagement.
01:52So what we do, we drink and talk to our clients to have this space of, you know, so we
01:59can freely express our thoughts and feelings together.
02:02So may mga Fridays, Saturdays, or events na nandito talaga kami, kaming mga owners, at nakikipag-inuman kami.
02:11Meron tayong mga clients na gusto nilang mag-express ng feelings nila na hindi nilang magawa.
02:18So they go here and they cry here. So we're just making sure that we're there.
02:25Hindi naman kami nagbibigay ng unsolicited advice, but we're there just to listen.
02:30It's really nice because more than the business itself and more than, you know, generating income or sales,
02:37it's really more of advocating also your mental health awareness and advocating also socialization and building the community.

02:49Miss Grace, bakit important yung magnegosyo ang bawat mamamayang Pilipino?
02:53Parang ang pinanggalingan natin, yung mindset natin, lagi tayo maging empleyado.
02:59It's somehow, dadito yun ka sa time na you want financial freedom, you want your own space, no?
03:07Na susundin mo yung timeline at your own face, no?
03:13So parang very important yun na dapat alam mo, kilala mo yung sarili mo.
