00:00Patok na yun sa kahit anong age group ang mga cafe.
00:04Mapare-mote work online class o kahit tambay lang,
00:07go to talaga ang aesthetic places.
00:10Alamin natin ang sikredo kung bakit dinadayo
00:12ang isang cafe and breast to business.
00:15Dito lang sa negosyo tayo.
00:22Ako kasi I'm a chef.
00:24I work abroad and for me,
00:26I always see myself opening my own restaurant.
00:30I don't see myself doing other line of businesses.
00:33So when I came back after my work from abroad,
00:38I decided to open and take a risk
00:40to open my own brand here in the Philippines.
00:43I worked in the US and Europe.
00:47So I think that was the busiest time of my life.
00:53It was really, really tough.
00:54Sisigawan ka,
00:56all the kind of tough experiences.
01:00But I'm super grateful that I was able to experience it.
01:03Kasi through that,
01:04I was able to really, really be disciplined
01:07in terms of my own business.
01:10So that's how we started.
01:12I started with four employees
01:14and I was also doing the other parts of the work.
01:19So I was really able to learn from coffee to food
01:24to cashier job, back of the house, everything.
01:28For me, the key rule with opening your own business
01:31is to just really be honest with your customer.
01:34For me, it's so important
01:35that you don't have to depend on the quantity
01:38and then the ingredients we're using.
01:40I always make sure that it's fresh
01:42and whatever we've done from the start,
01:46that's what we've done until now.
01:47Like, we've never been changed.
01:49You have to really believe in your own product.
01:52Kasi pag nag-open ka,
01:54hindi naman right away may customers eh.
01:57Parang di ka pa nila kilala.
01:59So you have to really show them that
02:02you're capable of, like,
02:04serving delicious meals
02:05even though you're not a big brand.
02:07Kasi akala nung iba pag-business owner ka,
02:11boss ka.
02:11But the truth is,
02:13it's not, like, 24x7,
02:14you have to really be there.
02:16Pagka may kailangan gawin,
02:18you have to show up.
02:19Kasi you have to be a good example
02:22to your employees
02:23and you have to stand, like,
02:26really, I would say that
02:27you have to always show strong for them.
02:30No matter how hard the situation is,
02:34you always have to be there for your employees.
02:36You have to stay humble.
02:37You have to keep learning every day
02:39because every day you can learn something.
02:41You listen to your, like,
02:44staff or pag-marong other ideas.
02:46You just listen to them
02:47because sometimes they can really help you
02:50in so many things.
02:52And I always tell my employees that
02:54what we're doing, give and take.
02:56Like, I always respect them
02:57and they respect me back.
02:59I think everybody have their own choices
03:02naman in life.
03:03Merong gusto mag-business,
03:04merong hindi.
03:06Pero pag nag-business ka kasi,
03:08siyempre, first is,
03:10you have your own freedom.
03:11You can create your own, like,
03:14things.
03:14The flexibility of being able
03:16to share to the people
03:18that, you know,
03:20our food is good.
03:20And ako kasi,
03:22beto stubborn ako eh.
03:24Parang mas gusto ko na, like,
03:27nasusunod yung ways
03:28or yung creativity ko lumalabas
03:31rather than, like,
03:34nagpo-follow.
03:35So I think it really depends on the person.
03:38Tara!
03:39Negosya tayo!
