Tornadoes, damaging wind and hail are all on the table as another round of severe weather makes its way through the central U.S. Tuesday.

00:00A dangerous multi-day severe weather pattern is threatening the central and eastern U.S.,
00:04and this is the kind of setup you need to pay attention to.
00:07This map shows a severe weather risk stretching from Texas through the Midwest into the Great
00:11Lakes and eventually the Northeast. Major cities like Dallas and Chicago are included,
00:16but places like Cleveland, Scranton and Albany also need to stay alert.
00:20The most concerning area is our high-risk zone, where severe weather is expected to be widespread.
00:25That includes Davenport, Iowa, Madison, Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois.
00:29The main threats include damaging winds 60-70 mph with the strongest gusts potentially over 80 mph.
00:36We're also tracking destructive hail, possibly baseball-sized or even larger.
00:41The greatest tornado risk comes Tuesday afternoon and evening,
00:45especially across eastern Iowa, southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
00:49Some storms could produce significant tornadoes rated EF2 or higher,
00:53with winds of at least 111 mph that can cause considerable damage.
00:58By Wednesday, the threat shifts further east, but strong storms are made possible
01:02with additional rounds later this week.
