02:13tonight is the night of february's new moon it's also a solar eclipse and the lunar new year so there's

02:22a lot of energy and power out tonight

02:24the time of the moon the time of the moon is sometimes seen as the beginning of the lunar cycle

02:30whereas others see the full moon as the beginning both can be correct it just depends on which you prefer

02:39either way the new moon is the time for reflection release setting intentions or checking up on the intentions

02:47that you set during the full moon if the full moon is the start of the cycle for you

02:55February's new moon in particular is a time of banishment it is time to discard the unnecessary issues

03:03these are the issues that are not required for your growth and journey they can be petty or irrelevant

03:10conflicts or roadblocks maybe you're getting distracted from your main quest by complicated side quests that have no relevance

03:20maybe you've gotten off track and you need to refocus

03:25I think it's very fitting that today holds both the lunar new year and a solar eclipse especially this particular

03:33one

03:34today begins the year of the fire horse which brings themes of ambition speed independence and rapid

03:42change ironically the solar eclipse holds similar themes the themes of the solar eclipse are new direction

03:51positive unexpected changes and changes from external forces big things are about to shake up your world

03:59so get ready and now with all that said let's get started on our rituals number one is to request

04:07a blessing from taiki

04:10taiki is the hellenic goddess of fortune fate and chance she is a child of the titan gods oceanus and

04:18tethys

04:19she is sometimes depicted wearing a blindfold to represent how seemingly random fate and chance can be

04:29she is sometimes seen with nemesis the goddess of divine retribution who basically takes down

04:36anyone who taiki gave too much good luck to in order to provide balance you do not want nemesis in

04:45after

04:45you but it doesn't hurt to ask taiki for favors gather a coin that is real currency it can be

04:53any of your

04:53you're choosing i have a penny here there are two ways to do this spell one is to dip the

04:59coin in moon

05:00water while asking taiki for favor and then place the coin on your altar to represent her and your request

05:09the second is to place it on a fire safe dish and light a small fire on top of it

05:15while asking taiki for

05:18favor when the fire is out fish the coin out of the ashes and place it on your altar to

07:11all right gather paper dry leaves or bits of cardboard build a small fire in a fire safe dish

07:19or safely build in a fire pit outside gather mint cinnamon or clove for taiki

07:26and mugwort lavender or dandelion for hakata i especially recommend mint because it is the only one that is sacred

07:37to both hakata and taiki

07:39as you light your fire call forth taiki and hakata tell them that you are sacrificing

07:45this fire and these herbs to them as you add your herbs to the fire

07:52i recommend playing music that is relevant to hakata or taiki

07:56or at least something that is related to one of their symbols or themes

08:02meditation music works great you can also search for ritual music music about magic witchcraft fortune or chance would work

08:13well too

08:15personalize the ritual to enhance it the more personal the ritual is to you the more powerful the magic

08:23is you can also turn it into a sesh with a freshly loaded orb or freshly rolled wand number three

08:35to banish unnecessary problems right now is the time to banish the unnecessary problems in your life

08:43are you finding yourself veering off the path that you've chosen for your main quest

08:49have you gotten distracted with side quests that really have no relevance to your current journey

12:02Get your list of goals and intention that you made during the full moon

12:07Carefully go through each intention and assess your progress

12:11Be honest but not harsh

12:13Are you where you expect it to be?

12:16What can you do to improve your progress?

12:19What are you doing to hinder your progress?

12:22Take some time to contemplate and update your plan if needed

12:26Number five is charge

12:28As always I recommend charging your magical items, herbs, and yourself in the darkness of the new moon

12:35Lay outside and absorb the powers of darkness and shadow

12:40Lay items outside or in a window to charge them overnight

12:46And finally we have an ambition fuel spell

12:50This spell is meant to fuel your ambition

12:53We all have ambitions

12:55And some of us need a little extra push to help us work towards them more enthusiastically and energetically

13:03That's where this spell comes in handy

13:06Write down your ambitions on a small piece of paper in as much detail as possible

13:12Write down any entities that you want to help you work towards and achieve your ambitions

13:18If you want to burn a candle, I recommend red

13:22If you want to add herbs, I recommend sage, cinnamon, or frankincense

13:30Say whatever magic words come to mind
