01:22cleveland browns wanting to trade for miles garrett around the time when the browns adjusted miles
01:27garrett's contract to move some bonuses up a little bit the browns said no he is not available
01:32rams tried again after the draft and said we want him here's more here's more they said no
01:37he is not available okay well then they said what if we included jared verse well that was someone the
01:44cleveland browns have had eyes on for a long time when jared verse was suddenly in the deal the picks
01:48got moved around a little bit it got to a point where the two teams said you know what this
01:53could
01:53actually happen they're expected to agree in totality later today right now they are finalizing
02:00this deal this absolute stunner miles garrett expected to be a member of the los angeles rams the
02:07one and only team to pursue him persistence pays off for less need for sean mcveigh and company
02:13just an unbelievable day unbelievable listen i don't know if this is going to work out for the

06:04did was are we going to take one of these guys one of these young dudes these stars we have

09:40quarterback is is all for none you're fixing you're fixing to make a decision on that young
09:44quarterback whether it's a whether you're going to pay 20 plus next year 25 whatever it is next year
09:48if you if you keep him or you're gonna have to decide to pay him paying significantly more money
09:53than that but the point is is like the program building aspect of this thing to me you build a
09:59program like that that could then withstand a young a good young player leaving and even even
10:04trading a first round pick for the previous year like that that that doesn't just that doesn't just
10:10you know tear down this the foundation that you've built they're there they have done such a good
10:16job of raising the floor on this team like i love kamari lassiter i don't think kamari lassiter ever
10:20gets out of houston um but but if if he does i don't think this defense takes a huge hit

10:25they can't be a top defense in this league they have built a foundation a tremendous foundation
10:31in houston to where their floor is as high as i think any team in the nfl if they make

10:42they've built is all of a sudden torn down i think that that foundation will be just fine
