Fire In The Sky (1993) Easter Egg In Double Dragon (1987) Arcade Game?

In this video I point out a possible easter egg to actor Robert Patrick's future role in 1993 alien abduction movie Fire In The Sky. You can see this in the 1987 arcade version of Technos / Taito arcade beat 'em up Double Dragon. Patrick later played the villain Victor Guisman / Koga Shuko in the 1994 live action Double Dragon movie. He portrayed a member of a logging crew in Fire In The Sky, the movie adaptation of Travis Walton's UFO / Alien abduction close encounter account in the Apache–Sitgreaves National Forests near Heber, Arizona from 1975. I thought the reference may be seen in stage 3. Please note the spooky background music. As the scenery shifts to a forested area, notice that some of the trees here have been cut. others are mere stumps.

00:37Wolfe, Julia Nixon, Alyssa Milano, Vanna White, and Andy Dick.

00:43In the game, the area we're talking about, it's stage three, and immediately take a listen to the soundtrack.

00:52There's some really eerie, strange music playing here.

00:56You progress through a forest area.

01:02Some are cut.

01:03Only stumps remain of some of the other trees.

01:06Now, this clued me into the story of Fire in the Sky.

01:11The cast consisted of D.B. Sweeney, Robert Patrick, Craig Sheffer, Peter Berg, and James Garner.

01:18Supposedly based on a true story.

01:21This is of Travis Walton's close encounter and abduction case from 1975.

01:28The link to this scene, if you know UFO lore, a forestry worker, Walton was part of a logging crew.

01:36They were working in the Apache Sitgraves National Forest near Heber, Arizona.
