Future Terminator actor Christian Bale may be referenced in 1988 Arcade video game Double Dragon II: The Revenge. In Mission 3 the player fights through what appears to be a farm. I thought the clue could be the several bales of hay or wheat shown in the background. Bale starred in the 4th movie in the series, Terminator: Salvation in 2009.
- A character leaps out of one of the bales (named Roper). I thought he may resemble Snake from Konami's Metal Gear video games or possible Snake Plissken from John Carpenter's 1981 sci-fi action film Escape From New York.
- Progressing through the stage some fighting takes place in front of a farming tractor, a combine harvester. I thought this may be a easter egg to DC comic book superhero Superman. A similar machine was key to a scene in Superman 3 in 1983. Christian Bale, played Batman (another DC hero) in the 3 Dark Knight trilogy movies (2005-2012) by director Christopher Nolan.
(Does part of the tractor resemble Metal Gear Rex from MGS (1998)?)
- I thought a hint to Bale's role in post apocalyptic fantasy Reign Of Fire (2002) may be shown in the final mission of the original 1987 Double Dragon arcade game. There, a relief of a golden dragon can bee seen between two lit torches or braziers.

- In this video I build on a previous look at an easter egg to the Double Dragon ('87) video game that exists in 1989 road trip film The Wizard. You can see it at the 19 minute 4 seconds where trio Corey (Fred Savage), Haley (Jenny Lewis) & Jimmy (Luke Edwards) are playing Double Dragon ('88 Technos Famicom / NES version shown). In-game footage from stage 3 can be seen at the area where a bridge has been collapsed in the middle.
- There are numerous links from these two items to actors who were associated with movie projects involving director James Cameron.
- Arnold Schwarzenegger & Double Dragon ('94) movie villain Robert Patrick starred in T2: Terminator 2: Judgement Day in 1991.
- Tobey Maguire, who made his movie debut in The Wizard, later played Marvel Comics hero Spider-Man in several films from 2002. Cameron invested significant effort in developing a Spider-Man project in the 1990's that was eventually abandoned.
- Actress Julia Nickson, mother/guardian of the 2 heroes in Double Dragon, had previously worked with Sylvester Stallone on Rambo: First Blood Part II in 1985. James Cameron co-wrote the screenplay to this.

00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future of movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:05In this video, I'll show some possible clues to the future of the Terminator movie series.
00:12And one actor that may be referenced in these games from the 80s is Christian Bale.
00:19In the 1988 sequel arcade game Double Dragon 2 The Revenge, the area I will discuss is Mission 3.
00:29And this appears to be a farm.
00:31You pass by a building with a sign that reads Yellowstone.
00:36There are some small wooden buildings.
00:39Hay or possibly wheat is arranged here in what might be identifiable as a bale.
00:48That's B-A-L-E, same spelling as the actor's name.
00:52Here on the ground is what you might call a bolt.
00:57That's a cut piece of log or timber.
01:01Please see my previous video on the Fire in the Sky Easter Egg.
01:07Robert Patrick appeared in that Alien Abduction movie in 1993.
01:13So Christian Bale played John Connor in the fourth installment in the Terminator series, Terminator Salvation, in 2009.
01:21And also in this, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Helena Bonham Carter.
01:28Back to Double Dragon 2, the character leaps out of one of the bails named Roper.
01:35His look, to me, similar to Solid Snake from the Konami Metal Gear games.
01:42Or maybe Kurt Russell's character from John Carpenter's Escape from New York.
01:48So in the game, the scene progresses through this farm area.
01:53There you will run across a piece of equipment, a combine harvester.
01:59In relation to roles of Christian Bale, the first thing that sprang to my mind was a Superman reference.
02:08Bale played DC comic book superhero Batman in director Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.
02:17Batman Begins in 2005, The Dark Knight 08, and The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.
02:24Michael Cangary, Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Cillian Murphy were also in these films.
02:30The combine was used in a famous scene in Superman 3 in 1983.
02:37There's a boy who winds up in one of the fields.
02:41The combine is bearing down, and Superman has to rescue him.
02:47This film starred Christopher Reeve Richard Pryor, Mario Kidder, Robert Vaughn, and Annette O'Toole.
02:55Another reference to a Christian Bale movie, I think, can be seen in the original Double Dragon arcade game from
03:041987.
03:05It's at the start of Mission 4.
03:08So here, apparently, the stronghold of the gang that kidnaps the character's girlfriend in the opening.
03:16A relief of a gold dragon hangs on the wall.
03:20On either side of this, a brassier or torch with a fire burning.
03:27I thought this could be a future nod to Bale's 2002 role in post-apocalyptic fantasy Reign of Fire.
03:36The plot of this movie deals with dragons.
03:38The cast also included Matthew McConaughey, Isabella Skorupko, Gerard Butler, Alexander Siddick, and Alice Krieg.
03:49Arnold Schwarzenegger and Robert Patrick were together in the cast of James Cameron's Terminator 2 Judgment Day,
03:58a 1991 science fiction action film, also with Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong.
04:06Actor Robert Patrick played the villain Kogushuko in the 1994 live-action Double Dragon feature,
04:14and also in this, Martin DeCasso, Scott Wolfe, Julia Nixon, and Alyssa Milano.
04:21In a previous video, I mentioned this Easter egg.
04:25You can see it in the 1989 video game Road Trip Adventure film The Wizard.
04:33This comes via a reference to the Double Dragon arcade video game.
04:39The Wizard starred Fred Savage, Luke Edwards, Jenny Lewis, Bo Bridges, Christian Slater.
04:46When stepfather Sam decides to have Jimmy committed to a mental institution,
04:52he runs away from home with half-brother Corey.
04:57In a minute with Jenny Lewis' character, Haley, on the road,
05:00they discovered Jimmy's talent at playing video games.
05:04They come up with a plan to hitchhike cross-country
05:08to try to get Jimmy into the Video Armageddon game tournament.
05:14Contemporary video game titles are shown in The Wizard.
05:18Many relate to releases via the Nintendo Entertainment System home console.
05:24At 19 minutes, 4 seconds, the trio play Double Dragon.
05:29The section of the game is stage 3.
05:33Part of this level involves a bridge that has collapsed in the middle.
05:39Jenny Lewis' character is playing.
05:41She gets knocked off the bridge into the river.
05:44Julia Nixon is in Double Dragon
05:47and appeared in Rambo First Blood Part II,
05:51a war action film in 1985 starring Sylvester Stallone.
05:56This screenplay, co-written by James Cameron,
05:59Richard Crenna, Charles Napier, and Martin Cove, also in this cast.
06:04My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
06:06There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
06:10I analyze these for possible references to future media.
06:13These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
06:17Hidden in the subtext of the work in question,
06:20I also use an unconventional method
06:22where I look at the likenesses of the actors.
06:27And what I found is you can take the likenesses,
06:30match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
06:32and show past, present, and future information about actors
06:37and other personalities
06:38that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode
06:42that you're watching.
