00:06but what did we get to the start of AEW Dynamite?
00:09We saw William Ospreay and Kenneth Omega after Double or Nothing,
00:12and Kenny Omega was saying to Will Ospreay,
00:14what are you doing, man? Why are you hanging around with these guys?

00:21Now, Kenny also said he understood why he would do this,
00:23because the Riders of Death do get stuff done.
00:25When Will was like, well, I told you I didn't come to you, Mr. Kenny Omega,
00:28it's because you're not around every single week.
00:31And Ken was like, of course I can't be around every single week.
00:32I've got stuff to do in my life.
00:34I was like, it's genuinely like a relationship.
00:37Well, they also made sure to mention the world title to each other.
00:40So this is definitely going to be a story down the line,
00:42and maybe even dun, dun, dun.
00:44We do it all in when Jon Moxley walked in and said,
00:47Will, we'll be in the truck.
00:49So he was standing right there literally the whole time.
00:51And he also just said, like, we all have skeletons.
00:54And it kind of sounded like he was admitting to being a serial killer.

00:58of course we're going to get back to Kenny Omega versus Will Ospreay
01:01for that world championship.
01:02And maybe that's Will Ospreay's first feud after he does win it at All In.
01:06But I think AEW should do more stuff like this.
01:09They took a bunch of narrative points and threw it out there into your face.
01:12And actually, the dialogue between both of them,
01:14I just liked it.
01:15I thought it was good.

02:09because, of course, Kevin Knight turned heel at that show.

02:13I want to say this before I get into any other criticisms.
02:16I think Kevin Knight is going to do fantastic in this role.
02:20And what did the fans do when he did walk out down the entranceway?
02:23They booed, they told him to flub off.
02:25So it's already worked, right?
02:26It doesn't matter what other things we are going to talk about.
02:28When you do indeed walk to a ring
02:30and you're meant to be a bad guy
02:31and everybody in that building goes,
02:32boo, boo, we don't like you.
02:35Congratulations, you've done it.
02:36I just thought we could have been a little bit more patient here
02:38because it was a bit like, oh my gosh,
02:39I now come out to bad guy music,
02:41even though his music's the same.
02:42And I'm wearing sunglasses.
02:43He even had a new walk.
02:45I just like the idea of Kevin Knight being the same person for a while
02:48and saying, yeah, I mugged off Darby Allin
02:50because that guy did let us down,
02:52which is what he did go on to say.
02:54It's not a big deal.
02:55I just think sometimes in wrestling,
02:57wrestlers can do a whole 180.
02:59By one day, they'll be wearing white.
03:00The next day, they'll be wearing black.
03:01Of course, the sunglasses are always a giveaway.

03:05I just think sometimes you can evolve these little bits.

03:09I do think Kevin Knight felt really comfortable in this role, though,

04:59but Jericho, he's obviously one of the best of all time,
05:01no matter what you do want to say.
05:02And ever since he has returned,
05:04I guess it's been a bit NJPW, a bit New Japan.
05:07Like he lost here, he lost here.
05:08Now he's getting wins again as he does find his feet
05:10because yes, he finally got that line.
05:12So Ricochet got one, two, three.
05:14Also to shout out back to 2001
05:15when Jericho applied the walls of Jericho
05:17onto Ricochet on out of the announced table.
05:19At one point they were doing the yay boo spot,
05:21but instead of the fans chanting boo,
05:24they were chanting bald.
05:25I was like, well, there's only one way I'm going to go with this.

05:29And then yeah, he got punched in the nose.
05:30Also to count out T's because Ricochet dropped Jericho on the floor

05:36But essentially he did hit the Rico salt.
05:38This time it didn't work as Chris Jericho did kick out.
05:41He went from the 6.30, he totally crashed and burned.
05:44And yeah, Jericho got the code breaker after that,
05:45but Ricochet also kicked out.
05:47So he hit the Judas effect.
05:48He hit the lion salt.
05:49He got the one, two, three.
05:51Chris Jericho had finally done it.
05:53Mr. Burns had won it.
05:54And a great tease before all that as well,
05:55because Ricochet had used Aubrey Evans as a weapon
05:57just to wham Chris Jericho right in the balls.
06:00But it's actually the aftermath that got me super excited
06:02because Tommaso Ciampa came out.
06:04He totally wrecked Jericho.
06:06And actually you could have Ciampa next week go.

06:10Because he took the mick out of the ball, people.
06:12Once again, I'm going to have to side with Tommaso Ciampa.
06:16I also like the idea of Jericho kind of jumping into these feuds
06:18because right now he does feel like he's found his feet again,
06:21whatever that means.
06:22But I am going to give it an up.
06:23I think the Chris Jericho ricochet feud has just ticked along.
06:26And it's been nice and it's been easy to watch.
06:29You can't ask for more than that.
06:30Andrade then said now that stupid stadium stampede was over,
06:33he is going to go after MJF.
06:35And he was going to get a win against Ace Austin later.
06:37So essentially, I assume we're going to do with Andrade,
06:40like what we did with Roosh,
06:41which is also going to be talked about later as well.
06:43And really, before the end of the year,
06:45if you were going to tell me Andrade at least would be
06:47in the world championship mix, I'd be like, too right.
06:51We also then went into Lio Rush versus Roosh versus Brian Cage
06:55versus Orange Cassidy.
06:56And man, do I love Lio Rush's new gimmick.
06:59For starters, when he got in the ring,
07:00he went with twins because, of course, he's Lio Rush
07:03and he was fighting Roosh.
07:05And actually, we did a four-way in progress,
07:07a UK wrestling promotion over here.
07:08And I was in the ring with Lio Rush.
07:10And this is what I did when I got face to face with him.
07:14Okay, Simon Miller, I agree.
07:17Just stay over there.
07:18That's right, I'm a coward.
07:19Otherwise, though, this was such a barrel of laughs.
07:21And Orange Cassidy, next time I see you,
07:23I'm going to give you a big old hug.

07:27But when he was going toe-to-toe with Lio Rush,
07:29he was like, oh my gosh, I don't want to do it.

07:37So they used each other to take him out.
07:39I'm not talking to dinner.
07:40We always had an amazing part as well,
07:41because the Don Callis family came out to help their boy.
07:44And Jake Doyle was just with them.
07:46So I was like, okay, well, he's returned,
07:48but that was cool.
07:48But after everybody has separated,
07:50it was essentially Rush versus Roosh.
07:52Yes, that's right.
07:53And Roosh hit the bull's horns.
07:55He got the one, two, three.
07:56So we just did this to keep on the very under the radar story.
08:00That Roosh keeps on winning.
08:01So eventually he should be going after the world title.
08:03And guess what's happening next week?
08:05Well, I'm sure you can put it together.
08:06I am giving it up.
08:07I appreciate AEW's patience.
08:11MJF then threw the world title on the floor,
08:13because of course he's got his triple B back,
08:14which is all he does care about.
08:16When he did bump into Kevin Knight,
08:18at first it was like, oh man, Kev, thanks so much for helping me.
08:21And thank goodness Kevin said this,
08:22because I had a moment where I thought he wasn't going to.
08:24He was like, I didn't do this for you.

08:27Maybe one day I will still smack you.
08:29Kevin then walked off,
08:29and he did bump into Carl Fletcher,
08:31who was looking at that TNT title.
08:33And all I will say is,
08:34well, firstly, he should be going after the international title,
08:37given that he's got the Takeshita feud going on.
08:39But I think Carl Fletcher can just leave that behind now.
08:41There is no such thing as a blessing in disguise
08:43when it does come to an injury.
08:45But the fact he did vanish from TV for a couple of months,
08:48now you can just start moving him towards the world title scene.
08:51We saw that Hangman match at all in 2025, I think it was.
08:55He is ready for this.
08:56Now he's doubly ready.
08:57Why would we just move him on for the TNT title?
08:59And he can forever say goodbye.
09:01Don Callis also offered Kevin Knight a place in the Don Callis family.
09:04And please don't do that because they have too many members.

09:09When we cut to an interview with the Brawling Birds,
09:11the most interesting part was Alex Windsor going next week.
09:13I shall be in the O and take on a wild card.
09:16When the Brawling Birds said,
09:17no matter who wins, the Brawling Birds will win.
09:20So I presume the wild card could be Jamie Hayter,
09:23but it could also be Mercedes-Bene.

09:33Maxwell Jacob Friedman is a three-time AEW world champion.

09:39And he went, ha ha, Darby Allin was a terrible champion
09:42because I beat him with a headlock takeover.
09:44Of course, when it comes to Max,
09:45he does not care about context.
09:47He also talked about the fact that there have only been eight men
09:49who have become the world champion by the time they were 30.
09:52And he is one of them,
09:53which means now he's forever going to be in the history books
09:55and that we're all going to be talking about this
09:57until the sun explodes.
09:59I don't want to be that guy.
10:00But if the sun is about to explode,
10:02so you're essentially on the deathbed
10:03and you want to talk about MGF's third title win
10:06by the time he was 30,
10:07well, I'd come up with a different conversation.

11:00that we're getting too many free world title matches on TV,

11:06And actually it seems to be doing the world of good
11:08when it does come to their TV.

12:15because these two smashed each other like trucks.
12:17Like, honestly,
12:18the amount of punches and haymakers
12:19and European uppercuts they were doing,

12:22to get uppercuts,
12:23it was just nuts.
12:24And I think by the time
12:25that Brody King did a cannonball,
12:26even on commentary,
12:27Taz was like,
12:28I think that's the first non-strike we've seen.
12:31I thought this was an absolute delight.
12:32They also just kept reversing
12:33each other's finishes too.
12:35They did another wham.
12:36At one point,
12:37Claudio Castagnoli was all wibbly wobbly on his feet.
12:39And after he had just clocked this Brody
12:41right in his chin,
12:43I think Brody King must have taken his med pack
12:45because he clubbed him with this lariat.
12:47It was absolutely disgusting.
12:48And he pinned him for the one, two, three.
12:50And I was like, man, that was great.

12:54And I could watch them fight forever.
12:55I think I mean it too,
12:57because it's just so violent
12:59in the best possible way.

14:46That's what I want to see
14:47on my AEW TV.

14:52was pitched so damn well

14:53the match won't be good
14:55because they will be
14:55desperate for it to be good.

15:18taking on Anna Jay

15:26they do want
15:27a tag team title shot,

15:36Well, I actually think
15:37if you look at a clock,
15:38we just did very well.

15:43to interview Ty J
15:44and they'd already been
15:45whooped by Divine Dominion.
15:47But actually,
15:47fair play to Double D.
15:49This was quite amusing.

16:18a seed of doubt.
