00:00You think the Knicks are a one-and-done team?
00:02You think that was their shining moment?
00:05This is not something that's been built for a long time?
00:08Or do you think they have a shot to, again, come back and win this thing?
00:14Well, you know, the NBA season is such a long season, Dan.
00:17And you don't need home court advantage.
00:19We saw that.
00:20We saw with the Knicks, you know, last year, right?
00:22They weren't a great, great regular season team.
00:24And, hell, they nearly lost to Atlanta in the first round of the playoffs,
00:28believe it.
00:28Remember, they were down two games to one to the stinking Atlanta Hawks.
00:32So I think they're a good team, but they are the classic team.
00:36I'm here in New York.
00:38And the buildup and the excitement and the thrill of them winning is so huge.
00:43You know, you've been involved in sports your whole life.
00:45They are the classic team that's set for a letdown.
00:48They really are.
00:49Now, again, the NBA season is a long season.
00:52They're going to make the playoffs.
00:53Can they turn it around, you know, April and May for the postseason?
00:57Maybe, but, again, another team, I wouldn't be betting their over-under.
01:01Their overs on their win total.
01:02Like, I think that is a classic letdown.
01:05We did what we wanted to do.
01:07Everyone's so happy, so giddy.
01:09You know, I'm a Red Sox fan.
01:11You know, when you win that first World Series, as we did a few years back,
01:15right after, you know, 50, 60 years, maybe 86 years of winning, there is a letdown.
01:20It's just not the same, and I get the sense this Knicks team is set up for that.
