00:00First, we'll get to the story that came out yesterday about Terry Rozier, who now I think
00:04we can officially call a former NBA player, pled not guilty to federal charges of bribery and wire
00:10fraud. Prosecutors say that he accepted $100,000 in a bribe to tip off bettors that he was bailing
00:18on that game on March 2023 on his under prop, allowing more than $200,000 in bets to be placed.
00:26You know, I mean, Joe, when I look at this story, the only thing that I can think is that
00:30there's
00:30some sort of like sickness or illness involved, because none of this really makes any sense.
00:35You know, with the amount of money that this guy was making in the National Basketball Association,
00:39you know, I guess it's just easy for us to say, how can you do it? What's going on here?
00:43But
00:44beyond just some unheralded situation that hasn't been discussed, these stories of this kind of
00:50money to be made when the players are making millions of dollars doesn't make any sense to me.
00:55Yeah, I mean, I'm sure as we're sitting here, Greg, I am sure they have wiretaps, they've got,
01:03you know, video, they have probably because they have not backed down from this at all. I think 2027
01:11is the next court date for him. But it's if this is all true, right, we'll give him the benefit
01:17of
01:17doubt. But if it's all true, it's a, you know, it's as old as time greed, right? What else could
01:24it possibly be? You are sitting there risking 97 million for 100,000. It's for no other reason
01:31than greed. I mean, that's the only reason I can come up with here. And where there's smoke,
01:36there's likely fire, something tells me, probably not the only time he did this.
01:42Yeah, very, very sad story for everyone involved and maybe even saddest for these NBA teams that
01:48had to play to pay Terry Rozier this season, although the NBA hasn't determined that just
01:52yet. Remember, he was on the ineligible list there for a while. Okay, the NBA getting ready
01:57for another game tomorrow can't have a better finish than the other day. And so the Knicks decided to
02:03say that OG Ananobi, who ended up hitting the game winning shot, is now officially have his own day.
02:09It's June 11, 2026. Indeed forever. I think that this is a great idea, Joe, with the exception of
02:17what happens if they lose the next few games of the series? You're always going to remember this
02:22great shot, this great win. And then they can then San Antonio came back and won this. I'm not saying
02:27that they will. But isn't this a little early? Shouldn't you wait a few days? Everything they have
02:33done in this series revolving around the Knicks has been as if they had already won the championship,
02:40the game three, the celebrations. It's like, can we just wait until they win the fourth game? Because
02:47you and I both know, Greg, what is the hardest game in a best of seven series to win? It's
02:53the last one.
02:54It's the closeout game. So can we wait until that happens before we start naming bridges and libraries
03:02and streets and everything else? That would be great. And he is maybe the antithesis of everything
03:08that represents New York. He doesn't say two words. He's the quietest dude, nicest guy, doesn't say
03:15anything. And yet here you are, you're already naming a day for him. Like, come on, can we just win,
03:21win the Larry O'Brien first, then we can celebrate afterwards?
03:26Mike Greenberg of ESPN says that fans are a disgrace for throwing eggs at Victor Wimbayama
03:34and basically going after the Spurs in New York. We've seen this now a couple of different times,
03:40Joe. The team busts getting attacked as well. I mean, there's really nothing to disagree with here,
03:46is there? No, you can't fix stupid, Craig. And that's the problem. The level, the mentality of
03:54these idiots is beyond me. Because you do realize this team that you so much love has to get on
04:01a
04:01plane and has to now fly to San Antonio. And now you're setting them up for their fans to retain.
04:08Like, do they not understand how this works, Greg? Apparently not. So you got to be better than this.
04:15It's ridiculous. The line for tomorrow night's game, by the way, Spurs favored by five and a half
04:21points with a total of 216 and a half. I mean, this series has been so unpredictable, as you can
04:28see from last game with Spurs being up 30 points, basically, and coming back to blow it. I don't
04:34know, Joe, I tend to think that this series isn't over yet, but I don't know if they're going to
04:38cover
04:38this big number. It's history tells us, right? There's a pretty good chance this will come back
04:46to New York for game six, that, you know, teams that win cover, whether it's the dog or it's the
04:53favorite, they win. So let's see exactly how this goes. But I do the big question is, does New York
05:00have anything left in the tank after that win in game four?
