As a movement Muhammadiyah’s activities are reflection of its duty to promote human welfare on earth. The organization abides by al-Amr bi al-Ma’ruf wa al-Nahy ‘an al-Munkar, within the framework of building a real Muslim society and blessed by Allah the Almighty. Real actions translate into good deeds and social works, which are the embodiment of the organization. Muhammadiyah is built on a structure that enables the movement to flexible. Upon this framework, the organization is supported by a number of institutions in the form of councils: the Tarjih, Tabligh, Basic and intermediate Education, Higher Education, Economy, Human resources Development, Art and Culture, Hikmah, and as the pillar of the movement, the councils operate in a freer environment with several independent entities as sub pillars and a place for training officials to fill the ranks.
