01:53We are in Beverly Hills and we are fitting Cat's Eye for their Grammys looks.
01:58I'm Umberto and I'm the creative director of Cat's Eye.
02:01I'm the visual director for Cat's Eye.
02:03So everything Umberto does, I do with him.
02:06And it's just been amazing.
02:07I mean, it's, it's hard to believe that these girls that we've met kind of like in this incubation,
02:11or just kind of growing, not only as artists, but as women.
02:15And then now like to be here in a place like this with all this incredible stuff and incredible fashion.

02:26I was brought on by the lovely Umberto and Joelle.
02:29So today we're going to be trying some custom Ludovic de Saint-Sernand for the carpet.
02:35And we're going to try a couple different versions of that and swap a couple of the girls around to see,
02:39you know, what makes the most sense for them and what they like the best.
02:42And then we're going to try custom Off-White for the performance.

04:27We're kind of like switching around because these were actually all designed for individual girls,
04:33but we want to give the girls input as well.
04:36So when we came today, they were like, oh, I actually want to try this and this.
04:40So we're kind of just like playing around to see where each girl seems comfortable.
04:45I think she's beautiful, but I like the first one.

04:51We are about to try on our performance looks.
05:00Usually like when we have a performance, we would have our fitting and then like the last couple of rehearsals,
05:05we would practice in our outfits that we're going to like be performing in, like especially the shoes.
05:10Because obviously like we do a lot of tricks and stunts sometimes.
05:14And these are quite heavy.
05:15They're heavy.
05:16So we'll have to practice in these.

05:25Obviously everyone knows Cat's Eye's performances are wild and their dancing is unparalleled.
05:31And so the performance looks need to look good, but they also need to withstand the choreography.
05:37And that's something that we constantly think about.
05:40We have to think about mic packs and everything else that has to happen.
05:43Can they hold this with the microphone?
05:45So there's so much that goes into the performance looks.
05:48I did get whacked in the face with this, but it's okay.
05:51I actually don't mind.

07:11And then an essential part of jewelry that I always wear are hoops.
07:16And I think that's also a cultural thing growing up, seeing my mom always wear hoops.

07:23I always carry my waistbeats on me.
07:26I got them in Ghana and it's just like a traditional thing we do in like, I think all around West Africa.
07:35So yeah, they're always on.
07:36Sometimes they're hidden, but it's like my lucky charm.
