Westeros could be heading to the big screen. Warner Bros. is officially developing a movie set in the world of 'Game of Thrones.' Writer Beau Willimon of 'Andor' and 'House of Cards' is writing the script. The news was first teased in The Hollywood Reporter‘s recent cover story profile of George R.R. Martin, which revealed that both HBO and the Warner Bros. film division were working on rival versions of the story of Aegon the Conqueror's conquest of Westeros. As THR reported, the film version is being envisioned as a mammoth, 'Dune'-sized feature film.
