00:14In the name of the Father, I love the Son, I love the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:18The grace of all Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit may
00:22be with you all and with your Spirit. Good morning everyone. Let's thank God for all the blessings.
00:29God has given an enormous number of blessings to us every day, every moment. Let's acknowledge
00:35that and say thank you Lord for that. And acknowledge our own weaknesses and failures
00:41and ask pardon for that. And prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
00:53I confess to Almighty God and to you my brothers and sisters that I have greatly sinned in my
01:01thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have prayed to do, through my
01:07thought, through my thought, through my most previous thought. Therefore, I ask this Mary,
01:13our Virgin, over the angels and saints, and to you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for
01:18me to the Lord our God. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us
01:25to
01:25everlasting life. Amen. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Let us pray.
01:39May the power of the Holy Spirit come to us, we pray, O Lord, that we may keep your will
01:46faithfully in mind
01:48and express it in a devout way of life. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
01:54who gives and reigns with you in unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
02:03A reading from the Acts of the Apostles
02:07While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul made his way of a land as far as Ephesus, where he found a
02:15number of
02:16disciples. When he asked, Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?
02:23They answered, No. We are never even told there was such a thing as the Holy Spirit.
02:31Then how were you baptized? He asked. With John's baptism, they replied. John's baptism, said Paul,
02:41was a baptism of repentance. But he insisted that the people should believe in the one who was to
02:49come after him. In other words, Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the
02:58Lord Jesus. And the moment Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came down on them. And they
03:06began to speak with tongues and prophecy. There were about 12 of these men. He began by going to the
03:18synagogue where he spoke out boldly and argued precisely about the Kingdom of God. He did this for
03:29three months. The word of the Lord. Our response, Sing to God, O Kingdoms of the Earth.
03:42Let God arise, let his foes be scattered. Let those who hate him flee before him. As smoke is blown
03:52away,
03:53so will they be blown away, like bats that melt before their fire. So the wicked shall perish at the
04:03presence of God. Sing to God, O Kingdoms of the Earth.
04:10But the just shall rejoice at the presence of God. They shall exult and dance for joy.
04:18Or sing to the Lord, make music to his name. Rejoice in the Lord, exult at his presence.
04:26Sing to God, O Kingdoms of the Earth.
04:31Father of the orphan, defender of the widow, such is God in his horrid place. God gives
04:39the lonely a home to live. He leads the prisoners forth into freedom, or sing to God,
04:48or kingdoms of the Earth. Alleluia, Alleluia. If then you have been raised with Christ,
04:57see the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Alleluia.
05:04Lord be with you. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John. Glory to you, O Lord.
05:12His disciples said to Jesus, Now you are speaking plainly and not using metaphors. Now we see that
05:20you know everything and don't have to wait for questions to be put into worlds. Because of this,
05:27we believe that you came from God. Jesus answered them, Do you believe at last? Listen, the time will
05:37come. In fact, it was already. When you will be scattered, each going his own way and leaving me
05:48alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you all this, so
05:57that you may
05:58find peace in me. In the world you will be troubled, you will have trouble, but be brave, I have
06:06conquered the
06:07world. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
06:15Blessed are you, Lord God of your creation. For through your goodness we have received the bread we
06:20offer you, fruit of the earth and work of human hands. It will become our bread of life.
06:51Spirit of the earth and work of human hands. It will become our spirit for a drink.
06:51Blessed are you, Lord God of your creation. For through your goodness we have received the
06:55wine we offer you, fruit of the wine and work of human hands. It will become our spirit for a
07:00drink.
07:01Lord God of your creation. It will become our spirit for a drink.
07:03It will become our spirit for a drink.
07:06Lord God of your creation.
07:18Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father,
07:23the Lord accept the Son. I accept your hands. For the praise and glory of His name.
07:33Trusting in your compassion, O Lord,
07:37we come eagerly with our offerings to your sacred altar,
07:42that through the purifying action of your grace
07:45we may be cleansed by the very mysteries we serve, through Christ our Lord.
07:52Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts.
07:57Let us give thanks, Lord our God.
08:02It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks,
08:08Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord.
08:12For all the oracles of the prophets foretold Him.
08:16The Virgin Mother longed for Him with love beyond all telling.
08:21John the Baptist sang of His coming and proclaimed His presence when He came.
08:27It is by His gift that already we rejoice at the mystery of His nativity,
08:33so that He may find us watchful in prayer and exultant in His praise.
08:40As with the angels and archangels, with thrones and the medians,
08:43and with all the hosts and powers of heaven, we sing the hymn of your glory,
08:48as without end we acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts,
08:55heaven and the earth are full of your glory, Hosanna in the highest.
08:59Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest.
09:07You are holy indeed, O Lord, the founder of all holiness.
09:14My Holy therefore, these gifts we pray by sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall,
09:20so that they may become for us the body and blood of O Lord Jesus Christ.
09:28At the time He was betrayed and entered willingly into His passion,
09:33He took bread and giving thanks and brought it and gave it to His disciples, saying,
09:37Take this all of you and eat of it, for this is my body which will be given up for
09:44you.
10:00For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant which will be poured
10:10out for you and for many, but forgives our sins. Do this in memory of me.
10:26The mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord,
10:33until you come again.
10:35Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of His death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord,
10:40the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be
10:46in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
10:53we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the
11:00world and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo 14, the Pope, Charles, our Bishop,
11:06and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in the hope of
11:13the resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your face.
11:20Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, the Blessed Joseph,
11:26of her spouse, with the Blessed Apostles and all the saints, who have pleased you throughout the ages.
11:33Remember it to be cohesed to eternal life, and we praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:43Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
11:48all glory and honor is yours forever and ever. And a serious command, informed by divine teaching,
12:02we die to say, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thou will be
12:10done on
12:10earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
12:17as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:24Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your
12:30mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and
12:37the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
12:45Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, Peace I leave you, my peace I give you,
12:50look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church, and graciously grant your peace and unity
12:55in accordance with your will. Will you reign forever and ever? Peace of the Lord be with you
13:02God wise, with your spirit. Let us offer each other sign of peace, peace to you all.
13:15Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take
13:26away the sins of the
13:27world. Blessed are those called to the Supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should
13:49and rather my will. But we say the Lord and my soul shall be healed. For it is not present.
13:56My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament. I love you above all things,
14:03and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
14:09commonly, spiritually, into my heart, I embrace you as if you were already there,
14:14and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
14:22Let us pray. Graciously be present to your people, we pray, O Lord,
14:29and lead those you have impugned with heavenly mysteries to pass from former ways to newness
14:35of life through Christ our Lord. Lord be with you. Your mighty God bless you the Father, Son,
14:44and the Holy Spirit. Amen. The Mass is ended. Let us go and live the Gospel. Thanks be to God.
14:50Have a wonderful day. God bless you.
