00:14In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:19We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge more importantly the compassion, the mercy and the love of God.
00:26You forgive our sins, Lord have mercy. You turn to good everything for those who love you, Christ have mercy.
00:35And you call us away from fear into love, Lord have mercy.
00:41May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:50Let us pray.
00:55May your right hand, O Lord, we pray, encompass your family with perpetual help,
01:00so that defended from all wickedness by the resurrection of your only begotten Son,
01:06we may make our way by means of your heavenly gifts.
01:09Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit, God, forever and
01:16ever. Amen.
01:18A reading from the Acts of the Apostles
01:23With the connivance of the authorities, a move was made by pagans as well as Jews
01:30to make attacks on Paul and Barnabas and to stone them.
01:35When the apostles came to hear of this, they went off for safety to Lyconia,
01:41where in the towns of Vistra and Derby and in the surrounding country, they preached the good news.
01:50A man sat there who had never walked in his life because his feet were crippled from birth.
01:57And as he listened to Paul preaching, he managed to catch his eye.
02:02Seeing that the man had faith to be cured, Paul said in an loud voice,
02:07Get to your feet, stand up.
02:10And the crippled jumped up and began to walk.
02:14And when the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the language of Lyconia,
02:23These people are gods who have come down to us, disguised as men.
02:28They addressed Barnabas as Zeus, and since Paul was the principal speaker, they called him Hermes.
02:38The priests of Zeus, outside the gate, proposing that all the people should offer sacrifice with them,
02:44brought God and oxen to the gates.
02:48When the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard what was happening,
02:52they tore their clothes and rushed into the crowd, shouting,
02:56Friends, what do you think you are doing?
02:59We are only human beings like you.
03:01We have come, with good news, to make you turn from these empty idols to the living God,
03:08who made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all that these hold.
03:15In the past he allowed each nation to go its own way,
03:19but even then he did not leave you without evidence of himself.
03:24In the good things he does for you.
03:28He sends you rain from heaven.
03:30He makes your crops grow when they should.
03:33He gives you food and makes you happy.
03:36Even this speech, however, was scarcely enough to stop the crowd offering them sacrifices.
03:44The word of the Lord.
03:46Thanks be to God.
03:48Not to us, O Lord, but to your name give thee glory.
03:52Not to us, O Lord, but to your name give thee glory.
04:20Not to us, O Lord, but to your name give thee glory.
04:25May you be blessed by the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
04:29The heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to us.
04:34Not to us, O Lord, but to your name give thee glory.
04:39Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
04:40The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and remind you of all I have said to you.
04:45Alleluia.
04:47The Lord be with you.
04:49A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
04:52Glory to you, O Lord.
04:56Jesus said to his disciples,
04:58Anyone who receives my commandments and keeps them will be one who loves me.
05:03And anyone who loves me will be loved by my Father.
05:07And I shall love them and show myself to them.
05:11Judas, that is not Judas Iscariot, said to him,
05:16Lord, what is all this about?
05:19Do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?
05:24Jesus replied,
05:26If anyone loves me, they will keep my word.
05:29And my Father will love them.
05:31And we shall come to them and make our home with them.
05:36Those who do not love me do not keep my words.
05:39And my word is not my own.
05:41It is the word of the one who sent me.
05:44I have said these things to you while still with you.
05:48But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit,
05:50whom the Father will send in my name,
05:53will teach you everything
05:55and remind you of all I have said to you.
06:00The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
06:04Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
06:09The Father will teach you everything.
06:13The Holy Spirit will teach you everything
06:16that the Father has revealed.
06:19The Holy Spirit connects us so deeply with the mystery of God.
06:25Our faith is not static.
06:27We are being invited more and more deeply
06:30into the mystery of God through Christ.
06:36Our understanding is being broadened.
06:40The Church is being led by the Holy Spirit
06:42to continue understanding more deeply
06:45what it means for us to live the message today.
06:49And through prayer, each one of us
06:51is being invited more deeply
06:53into intimacy with God
06:55and living our faith more fully
06:58where we are planted,
07:00in the place where we are.
07:17Amen.
07:21Amen.
07:23Amen.
07:27Amen.
07:27goodness we have this bread to offer, which earth has given human hands and made. It will become for
07:33us the bread of life. Blessed be God forever.
08:01Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
08:06Fruit of divine work of human hands, it will become our spiritual dream. Blessed be God forever.
08:23Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice at yours may be acceptable
08:27to God our Almighty Father. May the Lord accept his sacrifice at our hands
08:32for the praise and glory of God's name, for our good and the good of God's Holy Church.
08:38May our prayers rise up to you, O Lord, together with the sacrificial offerings,
08:43so that purified by your graciousness, we may be conformed to the mysteries of your
08:49mighty love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
08:53Amen.
09:00The Lord be with you.
09:02Lift up your hearts.
09:05Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
09:09It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation
09:12at all times to acclaim you, O Lord.
09:15But in this time above all to lord you yet more gloriously,
09:18when Christ our Passover has been sacrificed.
09:21By the oblation of his body, he brought the sacrifices of all to fulfillment in the reality
09:27of the cross.
09:28And by commending himself to you for our salvation,
09:32showed himself the priest, the altar and the lamb of sacrifice.
09:38Therefore, with paschal joy, every land, every people exalts in your praise.
09:44And even the heavenly powers with the angelic hosts sing together the unending hymn of your glory
09:50as they acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts.
09:57Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
09:59Hosanna in the highest.
10:01Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
10:04Hosanna in the highest.
10:10You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
10:13Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray,
10:15by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall,
10:18so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10:23At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion,
10:28he took bread.
10:30And giving thanks, broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,
10:36Take this, all of you, and eat of it.
10:39For this is my body, which will be given up for you.
10:50In a similar way, when Supper was ended, he took the chalice.
10:54And once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying,
10:59Take this, all of you, and drink from it.
11:02For this is the chalice of my blood,
11:04the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
11:07which will be pulled out for you and for many.
11:10For the forgiveness of sins,
11:13do this in memory of me.
11:21The mystery of faith.
11:24We proclaim your death, O Lord,
11:27and profess your resurrection
11:28until you come again.
11:32Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial
11:34of his death and resurrection,
11:36we offer you, Lord, the bread of life
11:38and the chalice of salvation,
11:41giving thanks that you've held us worthy
11:43to be in your presence
11:45and minister to you.
11:47Humbly we pray
11:48that partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
11:51we may be gathered into one
11:53by the Holy Spirit.
11:55Remember, Lord, your church
11:57spread throughout the world
11:58and bring her to the fullness of charity,
12:01together with Leo, our Pope,
12:03me, your unworthy servant,
12:04and all the clergy.
12:07Remember also our brothers and sisters
12:09who have fallen asleep
12:11in the hope of the resurrection
12:12and all who have died in your mercy.
12:15Welcome them into the light of your face.
12:19Have mercy on us all, we pray,
12:21that with the Blessed Virgin Mary,
12:23Mother of God,
12:24Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
12:26with the blessed apostles
12:27and all the saints
12:29who have pleased you throughout the ages,
12:31we may merit to be
12:33coerced to eternal life
12:34and may praise and glorify you
12:36through your Son, Jesus Christ.
12:43Through him and with him
12:44and in him, O God, almighty Father,
12:46in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:49all glory and honor is yours
12:50forever and ever.
12:52Amen.
12:55At the Savior's command
12:56and formed by divine teaching,
12:58we dare to say,
13:00Our Father, who art in heaven,
13:02hallowed be thy name.
13:04Thy kingdom come,
13:05thy will be done on earth
13:07as it is in heaven.
13:08Give us this day our daily bread
13:11and forgive us our trespasses
13:13as we forgive those
13:15who trespass against us
13:17and lead us not into temptation
13:19but deliver us from evil.

13:23from every evil.

13:25in our days.

13:29and protect us
13:30from all anxiety
13:31as we wait
13:33in joyful hope
13:34for the coming
13:35of our Savior,
