00:27It is worth noting that the avenue is named in honour of General Miguel Ángel Ortiz, one
00:33of the youngest leaders in Sandino's army and a hero for his struggle in defence of Nicaraguan
00:39sovereignty.
00:40The authorities emphasise that the project is part of a road modernisation plan in Managua
00:44designed to address population growth and strengthen social development.
