00:00And in Ecuador, the Municipality of Quito honoured the USAR ECU-01 Urban Search and Rescue Team

00:08following the completion of its humanitarian mission in the areas affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.

00:13During a ceremony in the city's historic centre, the Municipality of Quito recognised the outstanding public service

00:20of the 46 rescue personnel and two specialised search dogs who took part in the humanitarian mission.

00:28During their deployment in the neighbouring country, the contingent achieved the remarkable feat of rescuing an elderly woman

00:36and also a 12-year-old child alive from Minister Robo following their return to Ecuador.

00:42Their team members began the Institutional Recovery Protocol, which includes medical and psychological evaluations,

00:48before resuming their regular duties.
