01:54is going about their everyday life we didn't expect to be staying here in west virginia for
01:58very long but paranormal activity is picking up so much in towns just outside of shepherdstown
02:03that we're actually getting phone calls from other paranormal groups that need our help

02:19of course we do why wouldn't we i was just going to tell you i had another report of some

02:23going on in sharpsburg just across the river and right along the river there yeah we heard that
02:27on the police scan that's where we're headed right now really yeah i'm sure they're waiting on you
02:32i'm not gonna hold you up we just got a call yesterday from a local paranormal team who's
02:36been helping a client named nina in sharpsburg which is right up the river from here along the
02:39potomac and apparently her paranormal activity has gotten so crazy so fast that she's had to call the
02:49local police
02:49how far away is nina's house from the potomac river a couple miles four miles yeah this is our second
02:56case in a row where the town is situated right along the potomac river and that supports our theory
03:02that water is acting as some sort of conduit enabling the negative entity to travel from one
03:08town to the next really right now we're town hopping we're going from one town to the next
03:13and they all happen to lie along the potomac river
03:21all right hi hi how are you i'm so glad you guys are here i've had other paranormal teams come

03:28investigate the place no one's been able to help me i'd like to show you where it all began
03:34um in the backyard yeah we'll follow you yeah
03:46my ex-husband jonathan was mowing the lawn he noticed something on the ground and he realized
03:53that it was a bullet a civil war bullet it had teeth marks in it that's crazy teeth marks in
03:59a bullet
04:00nevin's house is in sharpsburg which is one of the bloodiest battlefields in all the american civil
04:04war thousands of men literally died right here where i'm standing seems like you discovered
04:09something that ties back to the civil war that took place here at the battle of antietam
04:15in september of 1862 the bloodiest day in american history occurred in sharpsburg maryland
04:23the battle of antietam was the 17th day of september sharpsburg was shelled by union artillery for 15 hours
04:37there were so many killed the water ran red every building in the town was said to have been a
04:44field
04:45hospital they would amputate body parts and kind of throw them out the windows
04:50my grandfather who was 10 years old at the time would help pick up some of those limbs and throw
04:58them
04:58into the wagon to this day they are still recovering skeletal remains of soldiers
05:04everyone here knows we're not alone we're sharing the town with the dead
05:13so where's the bullet now another paranormal group was here um and they they thought that if they took
05:20the bullet away that that would take care of the problem but actually it became a little bit more
05:25aggressive did you bring it back um no no they just took it yeah they just took it what happened
05:31after
05:31that our marriage just dissolved and then my ex-husband john moved down in the basement john had an
05:38experience down there that's when things got really bad when it started to escalate that's when you
05:43got divorced yes i had tenants downstairs four out of five of the tenants that i had down there have
05:51either ended up in rehab or a psych ward something is taking over my basement i've been investigating
05:58these types of cases for a really long time and when you have this many people experiencing the same
06:03thing in one room it's not a coincidence so who else lives here i live here by myself now everyone
06:08has just kind of left like one by one just out the door and i'm like the last man standing
06:15what's making
06:15you stay why can't you move out well i refinanced um at the last minute and now i got to
06:22stay here for
06:23three more years before i can do anything and that's the tough part i mean i've talked to so many
06:28people
06:28and it's like why don't you just move out it's so extremely haunted and people don't understand
06:32sometimes you can't if you go bankrupt you'll go homeless pretty much yeah if i was a millionaire
06:37i'd do it in a heartbeat yeah i'm not so it's been going on for a really long time but
06:42recently it's
06:43escalated yes and now things are starting to happen to me a couple of days ago i started finding my
06:51rosary
06:51beads broken around the house then one of them broke apart right in front of me after that i started
07:02seeing things wow
07:13i saw a native american woman she was in the backyard i ran into my bedroom
07:25she disappeared she was gone
07:29she was gone
07:29if you see where the deck is uh-huh to the right that's the window that i saw her from

07:34here this one i can see it on my camera
07:48recently i've been having nightmares
08:02the same native american woman that i've been seeing in my backyard
08:06she came to me in my dreams she was limping dragging her feet
08:20i woke up in the middle of the hallway i was terrified
08:25i know she has a message for me but i don't know what it is
08:29she was leading me towards the door the door to your room or the door to your basement the front
08:33door oh oh out out of the house out of the house
08:42this is to the basement yes this is the second case where we're dealing with some sort of haunted
08:47basement i don't know if that's just coincidence or if there's some sort of pattern emerging here
08:53so where are you taking us um to the back bedroom where john had his experience as well as the
08:58other tenants that lived here
09:02the people that have lived here i've had leases with them and they would just break it and leave the
09:07next day
09:12are you okay
09:17what's the matter
09:21that's pretty bad
09:23i feel like uh really jittery and like i feel manic like that's the best way to describe it
09:29the way my mom felt when she was down here yeah when i experienced a sense of vertigo
09:34it's a lot of times associated with negative energies and bill are you getting any readings
09:39right now on the front line the whole time we've been down here well right now what we're going to
09:43do is we're going to go through a baseline sweep with all of our equipment try to figure out if
09:47there's any natural causes to these hauntings
09:57bill and i are going to be rolling on our cameras and he has his emf detector
10:02also digital recorder elizabeth wasn't feeling well in the basement earlier so she's going to
10:06start upstairs while bill and i get some readings in the basement so this is a millimeter and a lot
10:19of times we will use it for emf sweeps but there's also a function on it that's a ram antenna
10:24so if
10:25anything breaks the electromagnetic field that it gives off an audible tonal sound and the closer it is
10:31the louder it will get anything yet well the good news is the toilet isn't haunted good i'll use
10:39it later check this out bill oh yeah looks like they're furnace right do you think she could have
10:45loose pipes that could be giving off some sort of gas that might make people hallucinate give them
10:51headaches it's a possibility so this is apparently where she saw the native american woman
11:14so the mel meter just started going off by itself and it was literally like someone was holding the
11:19end of the antenna it sounded like this but it was lower than that so it was like
11:25that's what it sounded like
11:28and i wasn't even anywhere near it the rem antenna actually gives off an electromagnetic field and if
11:33anything comes into the vicinity and kind of breaks that field a bit it'll be disturbed and give an
11:39audible sound the fact that my equipment is going off in the exact same spot where nina has seen this
11:44native american woman it just has me thinking is she trying to communicate with us in some way
11:52that is from radio
11:56you heard the difference though right so this is this is actually if i were to radio in the sound
12:03that it makes going off but when we just heard it just just now it was more like this i'll

12:08stop for a second when it just went off now the sound that it made was more like this
12:15and i think comparing the two beats you can say okay well that just means that something was
12:20actually in the vicinity of the meter it wasn't actually my radio going off it's very different
12:25sounds hey guys hey what's going on elizabeth i got a hit on the mel meter followed by the rem
12:34antenna going off by itself emf spike and hit on the rem pod uh near the was it the fire

12:47i have done a baseline reading of mo this is the exact path where the native american woman
12:57led nina out to the front door when she was having that dream

14:28no mine's in my back there's no way this meter should ever go off without someone being that close to

14:32antenna there's no electronics there's no answering machine there's no phone wires outside of the
14:37window and really no natural cause for why our equipment is going off i'm going to put mine on the
14:41other side of the bed there's something here triggering this i mean that literally look at wow oh my god

15:07were you a soldier that died in the battle of antietam

16:03so far we haven't been able to pick up anything on this evp but every time we would ask a

16:10that was connected to the spirit of this native american the ramintana would go off the charts i think
16:16that we're actually communicating with a native american

16:30we really need to figure out what's happening in nina's basement so she put us in contact with
16:34her ex-husband john how's it going you're john yes i am that way we can hear firsthand about his
16:41experiences down in the basement and we just wanted to learn a little bit more about you know the house
16:45that you used to live in right nina she's been a really good friend actually we grew up in high
16:50school we have a son together i pray for her just about every night um to make sure that she's
16:57safe
16:57when did you actually move down into the basement i moved down to the basement a couple weeks after i
17:03found the bullet when i was down there as you walk into that door it gives you like vertigo yeah
17:09and it
17:10gave me um it's like something heavy it does freak you out it does we want to pass on that
17:18house to
17:18our son but he doesn't want anything to do with it i was totally a skeptic up until this point
17:25sometimes just being downstairs your your eyes will just go blank and you'll just um um i don't know
17:32daydream you lose like track of time a little bit yes these day terrors it's like an eerie feeling
17:37like you're being watched at every turn if i ever give it a word insanity
17:45i had a weird feeling in the basement a coldness took that room i got dizzy i felt nauseous
17:57i wasn't sure what was happening things were kind of like out of place
18:04sometimes i come home my keys my wallet are on the floor i had a chest set down there as
18:10well and
18:11pieces would be knocked down it gives me goosebumps just talking about it have you experienced this
18:17anywhere else no just uh in that basement john confirmed that these experiences that he had only
18:23happened down in the basement so i don't think that anything's actually attached to him but i will say when
18:29i was down in the basement i had these like really manic feelings so it seems like something is
18:34definitely there
18:41hey rodney how you doing good seeing you ron is a local paranormal investigator who was the first
18:46person to contact us about nina's case and while he's done several sweeps in her property he hasn't
18:52been able to find a cause for her paranormal activity but he has collected some significant
18:56evidence that could actually help us crack this case got my bullet picture there i'll see yeah
19:00thanks for sending it this was the bullet you actually found on the property correct yeah yeah
19:05brought some of my own actually take a look at those check out the teeth the teeth groups on that
19:10one wow these were just basically balls of hot lead and they were melting as they were fired so when
19:15they hit you they would mushroom out so if they hit you in the shoulder it would shatter the bone

19:19wouldn't go through which is why there was so many amputations during the civil war
19:22but that one not being mushroomed out i would imagine that one wasn't hadn't been fired yeah
19:27it was a non-fired bullet that was bitten down when it probably was just somebody just pulled it out
19:31of their box and gave it to somebody so you bite on this which is where the term bite the
19:34bullet comes
19:35from the bullet that nina's ex-husband found in the backyard was never fired if it was never fired
19:39then it means it's never killed anyone to be honest i don't think this bullet has enough residual
19:43energy attached to it to create such a large spike in paranormal activity on nina's property
19:48you know nina thought that her house was used as a field hospital yes well her house wasn't built
19:55until 1989 well that might just be a few years after the battle of antietam a little bit yeah there
20:01is no way nina's house could have been a field hospital but of course the land around it anything
20:07could have been there tell me a little bit about what happened when you and your team was there first
20:11we retrieved the bullet while we were investigating we actually heard the sound of a woman where we had put
20:17the bullet you want to listen to this audio that we captured it uh awesome this is from your actual
20:22investigation night yeah awesome i'd love to hear this

21:05doesn't even sound like an english dialect does it it's an incredible find wow
21:13whatever it is she definitely sounds like she's in distress it's chilling it was a terrible
21:19inhuman sounding cry like somebody being tortured or about to be killed whatever's haunting that
21:28location definitely wanted to be heard or note known that they're there so this was a class a evp yeah
21:35so nothing was done nothing was done to it that's that's how i recorded it so an evp is electronic
21:40voice phenomenon and it's basically when you can capture a disembodied voice or sound in a recorder
21:45that is out of the frequency of the human ear and in this case rodney captured would sound like a
21:50woman
21:50screaming in the basement and that's something we would not have heard without that recorder a lot
21:54of people believe because their spirit that they they're no longer in pain which isn't the case
21:59and some haunting spirits still suffering to some extent she's still actively in pain which means
22:06we've really got to help her not just nina

27:12native american five nations to allow the the settlers to use their territory there and there's
27:19their different marks nina's property is well within that confines so that land all that land
27:27had been native american land so where nina's property sits it's all native americans it was
27:33native americans when they'd cross the river would take refuge in caves after their skirmishes and
27:39battles there's caves all under that area first of all it's well known that the catawba and the
27:46delaware indians battled it out in that area the delaware and the catawba had a major battle in the
27:56late 1700s during this skirmish the delaware took a female catawba prisoner
28:14they killed their prisoner and went on their way the next day they returned
28:25and cut off the soles of her feet
28:35why would they cut off the soles of her feet because they didn't want her spirit following
28:40them so they would keep her captive even in the afterlife yeah oh wow nina mentioned that there
28:46was something wrong with the ghost feet that's really bizarre there's a lot of similarities between

37:36trying to help her and guide her away from the house it's quite possible whatever it was was so

38:00i mean since ancient times to pinpoint everything from graves to water sources and now in more
38:06modern times people use them to find things like vortexes
38:11bill is moving through this whole entire basement using the dowsing rods to try to pinpoint this vortex
38:16if the dowsing rods cross then that shows that there's some sort of energy right in that particular spot
38:43that's what we're going to do to help try and close the portal is going to surround that area
