Just how "easy" do you believe the Detroit Lions schedule is for 2026?

02:40than to look at the schedule and say it's easy and the reason we know better is because the nfl

03:49good yeah but if you take the lion's schedule okay and look at the teams that they play
03:57there are 17 teams in the league that have nine and a half wins or more projected to have nine

04:03a half wins or more okay wow that many yep so there's i mean just over half yeah well it's

04:09there's 15 teams that are eight and a half or less so you have roughly half the league is supposed

04:19you know above 500 and half the league is supposed to be below 500 roughly i mean obviously there's some
04:25wiggle room there of the 17 teams at nine and a half or above you know how many the lions

05:02eight and a half 12 now they have an easy schedule based off of last year's win loss totals no

05:09off of next year's projection i'm just saying so people understand that too based off of lag when they
05:14come out with the because they came out with this the other day with the uh uh the winning percentage
05:18and ease of schedule based off of last season the the lions have one of the better schedules
05:24with that in that regard and yes that is also it plays a role in in how they're going to

05:30things out for over under totals but yes so here they sit with the projected win totals for next year
05:36next season and they have 12 games against teams that are supposed to be 500 or worse
05:43and you look at that and you say how can i not call this an easy schedule
05:48this is this looks like an easy easy schedule
05:55but kang i remember you first started telling us maybe a decade ago don't fall for that

06:05the schedules are so often not what they appear to be
06:10how do we not look at this and not say this is an easy schedule they play the jets arizona

06:16those teams are five and a half wins or less that should be three wins tennessee six and a half
06:23that should be a win they play teams that these are four of the five worst teams in the nfl

06:32totals right um last year they played a team that was quarterbacked by jj mccarthy and that same team
06:37that was quarterbacked by max brosmer yeah and they lost both of those games yes so this is why
06:44you take this with a grain of salt every year so what are we going to do with this
06:49because i can't i mean do you think this is an easy schedule yes i don't think easy i think

09:26schedule like this schedule is one of the easiest lion schedules i've ever seen on paper
09:37and i am i am fighting i'm resisting predicting huge things based upon this but i can't help myself

09:50place schedule right yes which which accounts for i think only three games that's fine we'll take those
09:55three games in addition to them playing the a the uh nfc um south which is not a good division

10:04football so they could catch a break there and then if you happen to think that this division sucks if
10:11you think minnesota is terrible that's two games against minnesota and then if you know you're looking
10:15at you know look at the other two opponents if you can split those games well then you start to

10:20better about yourself a lot better about yourself and you're just to f around and win one of those
10:26other really competitive games and here you go all of a sudden there's your 10 or 11 wins well as

11:39yes we do on paper it's going to suck we know i mean there's there's a lot of factors that

11:46there i i'm more hesitant to go at it than you are what we're doing is i i'm putting the
11:51credibility of
11:52vegas up against kang i guess well here's what again where i say i'd like to see you know let
11:59do the schedule game we'll do it you know the friday uh or probably the thursday before the first game
12:05in the season so that would be whatever that is that the the 10th of september or something um

12:15pre-season and see where teams are at because as we know knocking on wood here say jared goff gets
12:21hurt then all bets are off right then all of a sudden this this easy schedule that you think is
