00:00One other thing to mention regarding the Dolphins over under four and a half wins for the season.
00:05Did you see what their strength of schedule is based off the opponent's winning percentage last season?
00:12Last season.
00:12Again, you don't know how things are going to translate to the following season,
00:16but based off the opponent's winning percentage last season,
00:20the Dolphins have the second toughest strength of schedule in the entire NFL.
00:28Well, that's not good.
00:31That's a recipe for under five wins.
00:34That's not good.
00:36I mean, and obviously that's what Vegas takes into account as well.
00:41Who they're playing and what those teams have looked like recently.
00:46And they have, the Bears have the toughest strength of schedule.
00:50The Dolphins have the second toughest strength of schedule.
00:55Yeah.
00:55Then if they are playing the Raiders week one, that's the AFC West.
00:59The AFC West is hell.
01:00Like, there's some great divisions out there.
01:02If you draw those two divisions that are just whooping people, that's a bad pull.
01:08But some teams are going to be bad.
01:10Some bad teams are going to be good.
01:12Some good teams are going to be bad next year.
01:14I think the Dolphins could be an upside surprise.
01:16But when I say an upside surprise, that's like five wins.
01:20I mean, as silly as that sounds, like if they finished five and 12 based on their schedule,
01:27wouldn't you say, eh, that's kind of surprising.
01:29They had a pretty good season.
01:31Hawks, seven and 10 were going streaking.
01:38Like, that's the, yeah, I don't expect, I don't expect anything over seven wins.
01:43That's at the top notch.
01:45But if they, if they start out with a dub, that's a good place to start.
01:50I mean, you remember how last season started?
01:52Yes.
01:52That was, that was a certain dub.
01:55Boy, if this season starts that way again, imagine.
01:58And it's like, oh, we're going to Vegas and they're not any good.
02:03It's going to be a while.
02:04And this will be a nice little cakewalk.
02:07And then you're like, we've had, we've had Perk on.
02:13I let, you know, we had Omar on.
02:15We've had, you know, so many people on Cunyos and all that.
02:19I, I do not know what offense they're going to run.
02:23I don't know what their defense is going to look like.
02:25I don't know who's starting at corner.
02:27I don't know who's starting at safety.
02:28I don't know who's starting at receiver.
02:30Like really think about this in a logistical standpoint.
02:34We don't even know what players are going to be on the field when they kick the ball off game
02:38one.
02:39That's a tough place to be.
02:40It's a blind faith in Jeff Halfley and John Eric Sullivan, right?
02:44That's what it is.
02:45What you have to have going into this season.
02:47If you don't have that, you've got nothing.
02:50Yeah.
02:50Right.
02:51And I'm, and all you can do is assume.
02:53And it's really an assumption.
02:54Cause I've been doing this assumption.
02:57We're going to, we're going to play offense like the green Bay Packers played offense,
03:01run the ball, play action, keep games close, win it late.
03:04But I don't know.
03:05I don't know what, I don't know if Halfley is going to run this offense that they ran in
03:09green Bay.
03:09He's a defensive guy.
03:12He had Micah Parsons.
03:14We don't have damn Micah Parsons here.
03:15I don't know.
03:16He's going to put chop Robinson at the Micah Parsons position.
03:19Cause I don't know if it's going to work out the same way.
03:22Yeah.
03:22I don't know.
03:23What about, uh, the, the travel situation, Crowder, the dolphins are going to end up traveling
03:29more than any team in the NFL that isn't playing an international game this season.
03:36They have the six most air miles traveled on their schedule.
03:41Does that stuff matter anymore?
03:43Like as a player, do you, do you ever have ever such luxury?
03:47Right.
03:48I was going to say, I've, I was talking about this before where I think back in the day,
03:53it was like, Oh, you know, I'm standing, I'm, I'm in, I'm in group three waiting to get
03:58on row 17, 17 F nowadays you're walking on, you're bringing on your own food.
04:04You have your, you know, they have food.
04:06Solana, you've rolled the planes more recently than any of us.
04:10Did you feel the effects of travel?
04:12How stressful was it to get on that plane?
04:15Bro, that was the best experience of my life.
04:18Chick-fil-A onto the plane, catered Chick-fil-A onto the plane.
04:24Then when you're on the plane, a menu, filet mignon, chicken Caesar wraps.
04:30They give that menu to everyone?
04:32Like you got that choice of menu as well?
04:34Everybody.
04:35Yeah.
04:35Everybody.
04:36And if you wanted seconds, sure.
04:40I mean, yeah, there's enough food for everybody.
04:42Like, don't worry about it.
04:44They, they wouldn't, they wouldn't have like lobster or oysters and stuff, but you're talking
04:48about chicken steak.
04:50Um, I've, I've ate some veal chops on there.
04:53I've ate some pork chops on there.
04:55Like, but this wasn't like, this wasn't like airplane food.
04:59This was, these were quality.
05:01Like the filet mignon was a filet mignon.
05:04Um, it was, it was like, bro, that was the best.
05:07Did you feel, did you feel the effects of travel when you got back from traveling to a road
05:12game and then back?
05:14Did you feel like you, you know, cause sometimes you feel the travel you get back from somewhere.
05:19I mean, you go to the emergency room, something like, did you feel like, because that, that
05:25would be the question.
05:26If I can't imagine that athletes feel the effect of that.
05:32I don't, I don't, I don't think so.
05:34I don't think I ever felt like I was working seven days a week.
05:37I was doing heat broadcasting up till, till one in the morning, waking up at seven, going
05:42to the stadium, working the one o'clock game, jumping back onto the bird at around six 30
05:47with the team landing at nine.
05:49What are we doing there?
05:51What happened?
05:52Been on the bird.
05:53I'm found the bird.
05:55We're going to refer to the airplane as the bird.
05:57Yeah.
05:57You jump right on fin force one.
06:01And, and then waking up the next day, coming to the studio and, you know, really, I was
06:06good until I had to talk to you two at two o'clock.
06:08This is, this is the crazy thing about this travel.
06:11Honestly, to drive from home, to drive from your house to South beach is an hour to drive
06:19back to now.
06:19So you go, if you go have a Miami, if you go to see a heat game, you go to
06:23see a Marlins
06:24game, I feel winded when I drive down to the, say a center, I do it.
06:30It is a two hour endeavor.
06:33What if you had a driver and you can lay across the backseat and take a nap?
06:37Yep.
06:38Completely different experience.
06:39That's what it is.
06:40The West coast trips, the four and five hours of Seattle, those are longer, but the New York
06:45trips, the Texas trips, the Kansas city, the Phillies, the Tennessee's, the Atlantas it's,
06:51it's less than two hours.
06:52It's like, it's like driving to the keys, but not driving.
06:56You're laying there with your full road to yourself, eating filet mignons and playing
07:00cards.
07:01Like it's, it's not stressful.
07:03This isn't 1960.
07:05It's just Larry's uncle might've been stressed out when they traveled.
07:09It's not stressful to travel anymore.
07:11What'd they have for dessert Solana?
07:15Any candy bar you can think of in any vending machine you've ever been on.
07:21Candy bars?
07:22Is on that plane.
07:23It's just, whatever is in a vending machine, like a top notch vending machine is available
07:28for you.
07:29As many as you want to grab walking onto the plane.
07:32They had, you have the ability to just grab candy bars, whatever chips, candy bars, cookies.
07:42I'm talking, Hawk, I'm talking about anything that you can think of.
07:45They had it.
07:46They had fruit cups.
07:47And if you wanted like a mixture of fruit cups, like a fruit salad, they had that.
07:51But if you just wanted pineapple, they had that.
07:53You just want grapes.
07:54They had that.
07:55Just a cup of pineapple?
07:57That's crazy.
07:58A cup of pineapple.
07:58We know Solana likes to eat salads.
08:01No, he likes a nice gentleman's salad.
08:07Hair.
08:07We're talking about hair.
08:09We're talking about hair.
08:10Yeah.
08:10Hair.
08:10And they had a dessert that was coming with your meal.
08:15Sometimes it was a peach cobbler.
08:17Sometimes it was a tiramisu.
08:19Key lime pies.
08:21Key lime pies.
08:23Yeah.
08:23And Hawk.
08:24They always, like, I would say 90% of the time my dessert was vodka.
08:36I don't know if that's, uh.
08:39Hey, man, my shoulder was hurt.
08:42My neck was sore.
08:43You should have had a cup of pineapple.
08:45I threw up an apple in my vodka.
