00:12what we glossed over was assar and his impact on on james harden which was obvious in in many ways
00:21and but we brought up what ron holland did because when assar picked up his third file
00:25halfway through the second quarter we listed what james harden did the rest of the quarter
00:28which was minimal bunch of turnovers and missed shots and it was ron holland coming off the bench
00:34and locking him up locking him up and doing a great job on the defensive end assar was once again
00:41amazing on the defensive end he's just so much fun to watch because he's always in attack mode
00:47always in attack mode on the defensive end of the floor but the other thing that you brought up
00:51that you know is captain obvious but i don't know we could talk about it enough
00:56through three quarters last night kade cunningham had 13 points and 10 assists 10 assists is great
01:03okay 13 points and he has opened the playoffs with i think it's 15 straight games of 20 plus or

01:10and you know he's halfway to the nba record for consecutive games with 20 plus points he's the
01:16leading scorer in the nba playoffs this year over 30 points a game and what did he do in the

01:22quarter 12 points three of four from three and just i mean i'm watching the game and i'm going okay
01:31it's a lot like game one other people are picking it up on the offensive end kade's not having a

01:37his typical great offensive night how do they find a way to win this game others can do it
01:42we've saw it in game one this isn't a major concern perhaps it used to be and i asked myself
01:48if this game gets close who do i want do i still want the ball in kade's hands even if
01:51he doesn't
01:52break this trend even if it's you know back-to-back games with offensive struggles and if it comes down
01:57to a big possession and kade hasn't broken out of this offensive shooting slump or whatever you want

02:57made notes it was something that just showed up like in the first quarter he had an amazing dunk in
03:02the first quarter that lit the crowd on fire everybody was loving it the second quarter
03:07is where he had that ridiculous rebound that should never have happened but he got it
03:12he's all and i said he's rebounding he's scoring and he's leading and he's confident the third
03:18quarter he had another buzzer beater there's a buzzer beater the buzzer beater at the end of course
03:24now obviously cleveland had one at halftime yeah and a star almost had one but the way that detroit
03:30at the end of a period but yeah this is four in the last three games yeah a three-pointer

03:37buzzer many contested that really you i mean these are boosts of adrenaline for your team so those are
03:45the the three-quarter notes and the other one in the third quarter i had listed like scoring totals
03:49for players and danis jenkins had 14 points after three quarters so the note in the fourth quarter is
03:54he deferred i don't have to be the guy anymore this is kade's quarter he's the leader of this team
04:00you go out and get it done and k did and he had the 12 points in the fourth quarter

04:04history danis jenkins finished with 14 points and six rebounds four assists um only one turnover
04:13he has been fantastic with his assisted turnover ratio throughout the playoffs he is after the
04:20beginning of the orlando series he has been he's exactly the guard that they need like he's not
04:26going to you don't expect him to go off for 25 or 30 although i suppose he's capable of it
04:30but he's
04:31getting to give you the tough baskets here and there he's taking the pressure and some of the work
04:36load off of kade cunningham as is a lot of players as are a lot of players he's just been
04:41fun to watch
04:42and grow for a guy who was undrafted went from you know mr two-week contractor whoever it was and
04:48now he
04:48gets his contract with the pistons and now he's he's a staple on this team well i mean he has
04:53been
04:53right i mean there's there's through two games he certainly has been all of that uh he's got to keep
04:59it up there was some question going into this series about you know what cleveland has our guy
05:06off the bench they got dennis schruder and this is a that's tough because he was so good for detroit

05:13that role and we said well and this is before the series started we said well detroit's gonna counter
05:17with danis and is danis gonna be able to do it and he's done it so far in this series

05:23he's got to keep it up he's gotten better and better game five against orlando he had six points
05:28game six he had seven game seven he had 16 points he had 12 points against cleveland game one 14

07:28talked about orlando the struggles they had and none of us saw that that type of struggle coming
