00:00Oh, sweet Russell, sweet Russell Dickerson. Here we go. One, the only. Amazing. Yeah. I'm exhausted. I'm very tired. Um,
00:10I'm very happy to see you. So we were just talking, we're going to have you on the show the
00:14whole first week of May and that week starts with May the 4th. And you know, that's Star Wars day.
00:21Were you into Star Wars? Really? Star Wars nerd? Like what's your nerdy thing? My nerdy thing? Probably drum line.
00:30Like TV show movie? No, no, no, no. DCI. Well, you don't even know who Pantera is. So you're definitely
00:37not going to know what DCI is. Drum Corps International. It's a drum and bugle corps. Well, I was, I
00:44was a band nerd in high school. So like that was my life. That's the kind of nerd you were.
00:49Now it's all coming together for me. Yeah. So these are basically marching bands without woodwinds. Does that make sense?
00:56No, there's no, there's no clarinets. There's no saxophones. It's all just horns and such. Does that make sense? Anyways,
01:04they're like the best and it's the best of the best of the best in the entire world. Drummers, horn
01:11players.
01:11I did not realize you were like so into band. Yeah. Yeah. Like when I, I had mixed CDs, right?
01:18With Nelly and blink one 82, but I also had mixed CDs of like drum line warmups, like parking lot
01:29warmup. They were like the crappiest recordings, like pre iPhone.
01:32And then it was just like, one, two, you know what I mean? That was, that's my geek squad.
01:40I so badly want to see like a full photo of you in like band garb from high school.
01:44Well, come to Russell mania because are they on the big screen? We have a whole thing. I have a
01:49song called 16 me. And it's like that. That was my band nerd era when I was 16, 17 in
01:57high school and stuff.
01:57Well, I can't wait to come watch that. Also the week that we have you on the show, there's so
02:00much stuff happening. It's also you and Kaylee's 13 year wedding anniversary. Does that feel crazy? That you've been married
02:07for 13 years already?
02:09Yes. It feels weird and old. We have two kids. We have, they're five and a half and two and
02:13a half and we've been married for 13 years and it's, uh, yeah.
02:19Yeah. That's wild. I know that many people, myself included, like look up to you and Kaylee and your relationship
02:24and people are always asking you, I'm sure for like advice. What is your, like, what is the thing that
02:29you're always saying?
02:30Oh, I was thinking about this the other night, actually, as like an interview. Like, what if I got asked
02:35that? It's like, well, first of all, one of our, one of our catchphrases in marriage is, do you want
02:42to be one O N E or do you want to, do you want to be the one who won?
02:49W-O-N. Are you going to, are you going to cut deep to win this fight? You really want
02:54to, you really want to jab that knife a little deeper? You know what I mean? And it just like,
03:01whenever we start to argue or we, I was just like, Hey, let's just take a breath, take a breather.
03:08We're on the same team here. Yep. We're frustrated as we're both exhausted. We're trying to get the kids down.
03:13I've been gone. It's usually, yeah, it's usually my fault. I'm just like,
03:18not my fault, but like, it's just a lot. This lifestyle, this career is a lot. And so it's, I
03:25try to come home and make up it, but I'm also exhausted, blah, blah, blah. So I think humility of
03:30just like being one, prioritizing your marriage above winning an argument.
03:37W-O-N. It's beautiful. That's why you're husband of the year.
03:40W-O-N. I don't know about that.
03:42W-O-N. We'll ask Kaylee.
03:43W-O-N. Yeah.
03:43W-O-N. But that same week is also the week of your 39th birthday.
03:49W-O-N. Dude. Again, I'm 39, bro. What is happening?
03:52W-O-N. How are you feeling about turning 39?
03:54W-O-N. Yeah. So May 5th anniversary, 13th anniversary. May 7th is my, yeah, 39th birthday, bro.
04:03W-O-N. How are you feeling about 39?
04:04W-O-N. Um, I still feel 26, you know?
04:09W-O-N. And it's, it's, I don't know. It's whatever. I'm mad about it.
04:14W-O-N. Because a lot of people are like, I'm stepping into my 40s, you know?
04:18W-O-N. I'm like, good for you, bro. That's, that's old.
04:22W-O-N. That's real.
04:23W-O-N. I'm sure that when I get that, like, I'm like a few years behind you, but I'm
04:26sure that when I get there, I will feel different.
04:28W-O-N. But lately I've been trying to like really amp myself up so that I don't feel bad
04:31about getting older.
04:32W-O-N. Yeah. Because I'm like, this is what I think about. Think about what our parents looked like
04:36at 40.
04:36W-O-N. They don't look as young as we look right now, so I feel real good about that.
04:39W-O-N. But did they think the same thing?
04:42W-O-N. I don't know.
04:43W-O-N. I don't look as old as my parents.
04:46W-O-N. I don't know.
04:48W-O-N. Like, I remember my mom's 40th birthday.
04:50W-O-N. You know?
04:51W-O-N. And I was like, yeah!
04:54W-O-N. Gah!
04:55W-O-N. Now here I am about to.
04:57W-O-N. Listen, we still have another year.
05:00W-O-N. Yeah, yeah. It's going to be great.
05:02W-O-N. I got time. I got time to live my life.
05:04W-O-N. Exactly.
05:04W-O-N. But look at the life I've lived, huh?
05:06W-O-N. Yeah, it really is beautiful.
05:07W-O-N. Part of me is like, dang, we really did.
05:09W-O-N. We really did it. We did a lot.
05:11W-O-N. And other parts I'm like, what have you been doing with your life?
05:14W-O-N. I feel like that. I think most people our age feel like that.
05:16W-O-N. Right?
05:17W-O-N. Like you've either done, because it's like we were just saying, you're like, I'm so tired, how
05:20could I possibly do more?
05:22W-O-N. Like, truly, where would you find the time?
05:24W-O-N. Where, yeah.
05:25W-O-N. Also, that same week, my God, there's so much stuff going on the first week of May.
05:28W-O-N. We're going into Mother's Day weekend.
05:30W-O-N. Yes.
05:30W-O-N. That weekend.
05:31W-O-N. Yeah.
05:32W-O-N. So, like, what are the types of things you do for Mother's Day for your own mom?
05:34W-O-N. Well, we can't leave out the shameless plug. Wrestlemania is in Nashville on May 8th.
05:40W-O-N. Oh.
05:42W-O-N. That weekend.
05:43W-O-N. Shazam.
05:44W-O-N. Which is going to be very fun, but also you're going to have to make up on
05:46Mother's Day.
05:47W-O-N. That's true.
05:48W-O-N. Yeah.
05:49W-O-N. Mother's Day is May 9th.
05:50W-O-N. Yes.
05:51W-O-N. So, we'll do, like, Mother's Day brunch, maybe.
05:53W-O-N. Cute.
05:54W-O-N. Love that. W-O-N. Are you close with your mom?
05:55W-O-N. Yes.
05:56W-O-N. A few weeks ago, National Championship, basketball, men's basketball, took my bus and my mom, my dad,
06:04my uncle, and we did it up.
06:06Took them to Indianapolis.
06:08W-O-N. We did the whole thing.
06:09W-O-N. We were in this beautiful suite with all the catering and the open bar and whatever, and
06:16they just, they had a time.
06:17W-O-N. My uncle had a beer. Never seen him have a beer.
06:20W-O-N. You're, like, cutting loose.
06:21W-O-N. Yeah. Cutting loose.
06:22W-O-N. Uncle John.
06:23W-O-N. Oh, my God.
06:24W-O-N. One Mick Ultra.
06:25W-O-N. That's hilarious.
06:26W-O-N. How are the boys doing?
06:28W-O-N. Wild.
06:29W-O-N. What did you say? Five and two?
06:30W-O-N. Five and a half, two and a half.
06:31W-O-N. Five and a half and two and a half.
06:32W-O-N. Yeah. So, coming up on kindergarten, because he's September, so he's kindergarten, bro.
06:38W-O-N. You're going to be a mess.
06:40W-O-N. I know.
06:40W-O-N. You are going to be a mess.
06:42W-O-N. Yeah.
06:42W-O-N. We're already, luckily, we're already doing pre-K, so we're kind of warmed up to the idea.
06:47W-O-N. I don't know. I feel like everybody still says that it's going to be.
06:49W-O-N. Yeah.
06:50W-O-N. That's exciting. Is he excited about it? Does he know?
06:54W-O-N. He's not. So, he's doing two different, like, homeschools.
06:59W-O-N. Okay.
07:00W-O-N. And one is, like, very studious. There's a dress code. There's a, you know, polo with khakis.
07:08W-O-N. And, you know, you must tuck your shirt in. Not me. It's not that shirt. But, and
07:14the other one is, like, every time I pick him up, he's barefoot.
07:18They're chasing chickens around a field, and there's sheep, and, you know, they learn how to, you know, get the
07:23eggs, and they learn how to want, like, life stuff. It's awesome.
07:27W-O-N. That's amazing. I want to go to that.
07:28W-O-N. He loves that school. But the other one is, like, it's so long, and it's so boring,
07:33and, like, we're doing it. He's fine, though. He loves it.
07:36I mean, he's ever a kid. Yeah. Yes. I just want to be outside.
07:39I saw that you had him out golfing, and I was like, this is adorable. Yes.
07:43That's so fun to be able to take them to go do that. Yeah. I'll probably do it today. It's
07:47the best.
07:47Yeah. Why not? I just, I feel like I've been gone a lot, and I need to, I need to
07:51hang with my boys.
07:52Do they, like, do you feel like you can keep their attention for, like, how many holes of golf can
07:55you make it through with them?
07:57We played, we got through probably, it all just depends on, like, if there's people behind me.
08:03Ew.
08:03You know, like, because you've got to keep the pace in golf.
08:05And that's the only downside. So, and, like, they don't understand, especially Rad, they don't, like, understand, okay, you hit
08:13it in the hole, and then you pick it up, and you go to the next one.
08:15Yeah.
08:15So he's just, like, hit it in, pull it out.
08:18Hit it in again.
08:18Hit it in again.
08:18I'm like, come on, bro.
08:19And, like, they're waiting to tee off behind me.
08:21I'm like, ah, jeez, they probably hate me.
08:22But then they'll, like, come up, they'll play through, like, oh, dude, father-son time, let's go.
08:27It's so funny.
08:28Thomas Rett was just in here talking about how they went to play putt-putt for his birthday, and they
08:32went to putt shack, and he was saying that he was, like, I had so much anxiety for the people
08:35behind us because, like, the kids are just picking up the golf balls and all the things.
08:38Chaos.
08:40But we'll probably get, we probably got through seven-ish holes.
08:44That's about as many holes as I can make it through in golf.
08:46And then I'm like, I would like to go to the clubhouse and have a salad and a cocktail now.
08:48Correct.
08:48Yeah, I called our nanny.
08:49I was like, uh, it's time.
08:51Yep.
08:51Come pick up Rad.
08:52And then me and Remy finish nine.
08:53And then you have been in the process of remodeling the house.
08:58Where are you guys at with it?
08:59Prayers accepted for-
09:00Are we close?
09:01Are you regretting everything?
09:03August?
09:04Okay.
09:05Maybe.
09:05Hopefully.
09:05So there's an end in sight.
09:07Yeah.
09:08Somebody told us once cabinets are in, it's four months from there.
09:12Oh, God.
09:13But we don't have cabinets.
09:14You don't have cabinets.
09:15This has got to be especially hard because you guys, like, bought this house, did a bunch of
09:18remodeling.
09:19And then now you've had to remodel it again.
09:22You've been to our house?
09:23No, I haven't been there.
09:23But I remember, like, watching all of this on social media and you, like, posting about
09:27this.
09:28But now you're doing this, like, full gut.
09:30Yeah, we were there for dinner.
09:31Yeah, I've been here.
09:32I was going to deal.
09:34Yeah, no, it's cool because we live adjacent.
09:38We're basically renting our neighbor's house.
09:40Okay.
09:41I've rented it as my studio for four years.
09:43Got it.
09:44Three years.
09:44So now we're there, which is horrible.
09:49No, it's fine.
09:50It's a roof over our head.
09:51Praise God.
09:52But we get to go.
09:53We check on the house every day.
09:55Kaylee's doing the remodel.
09:57She might as well strap on knee pads and lay down the grout at this point.
10:01She's probably the most lovely woman, though, to be coming in and checking up on those contractors.
10:05Or is she getting stern with them?
10:07She is not, which is a problem.
10:10Got it.
10:10Well, that's hard.
10:12She'll tell the contractor and then he'll lay down the hammer.
10:15But, like, they're literally laying our master bathroom tile.
10:19And she's like, I can't.
10:22Like, I have so much anxiety.
10:22This part's wrong.
10:23Da, da, da.
10:24Like, so she called and she was like, hey, I'm sorry.
10:27But, and then she's like, no, we'll just rip it up.
10:29Cool, whatever.
10:29You know what I mean?
10:30Like, oh, cool.
10:32Great.
10:32How much is this going to be?
10:33I know.
10:34Exactly right.
10:34So, yeah.
10:35Prayers up for our budget and our marriage and our brain space.
10:40Please.
10:41It'll be great once it's done and you will forget that you ever did it and then you'll
10:44want to do it again at some point, right?
10:46Hopefully not.
10:47But, all right, let's, we have to unfortunately do some work and talk about music.
10:51Yeah.
10:51Worth Your Wild.
10:52Great.
10:52EP, out now.
10:53Yeah.
10:54Talk to me about this collection of songs and, like, why you wanted it.
10:58I assume that this is, like, it's so summery.
11:00It had to be out now.
11:01But talk to me about these songs.
11:02Yes.
11:02Had to be.
11:03Well, Spring Break on there.
11:05I was like, first of all, we got to get this EP out before Spring Break.
11:08Get it to the kids.
11:09Yes.
11:09Give the kids.
11:10Give it to the troops.
11:12Give it to them.
11:13So, we did.
11:15And that was a song pitched to me by Jordan Reynolds wrote it.
11:19Devin Dawson wrote it.
11:21Seth Ennis, Jordan Minton.
11:23Great gang.
11:24That's a hit squad right there.
11:26Anyways, heard that song.
11:27I was like, yeah, absolutely.
11:29This is mine.
11:30Cutting it.
11:31And then I had just, I mean, as I'm writing a record, I feel like I can kind of pick
11:36out
11:36songs that I'm like, this feels like what the EP is, like a summer vibe.
11:42This feels like we could get real funky with it.
11:45We could have some fun with it.
11:46And like Boat, you know, which was like, I don't want that to just be on an album and
11:52get lost.
11:53I don't want it to just be like one beachy summery moment.
11:56I want it to be a whole project of, you know, it's like Worth Your Wild.
12:01That's your road trip down to the beach.
12:04You know, you're going from Nashville, wherever you're going, Worth Your Wild, that's what
12:07you're jamming, road tripping to the beach.
12:10And then once you get there, boom, boat, two limes, two coronas, talk about meeting somebody.
12:17Oh, spring break, a little spring fling.
12:20Then it's over.
12:21Boom.
12:21Spring break, sad song.
12:23Spring break's over.
12:24So it's a whole journey within four songs.
12:27And it's so fun.
12:28And I feel like Worth Your Wild, I was laughing earlier because I was listening to it on the
12:31way into work, but then I was, I've been singing it all day.
12:34I'm like, God, this song, every time I listen to it, it's such an earworm.
12:36Like it's got the earworminess in it.
12:38Yes.
12:38Which is like hard to capture sometimes.
12:41Agreed.
12:41Like, I don't think that you can be like, we've made an earworm.
12:44It just like, yeah.
12:45Right.
12:46Like if you try too hard, it doesn't.
12:47Yeah.
12:47That's the fun part about writing is like, you just like, when you hit that flow, that
12:52flow state.
12:53Flow state.
12:53Yeah.
12:54Flow state when you're writing.
12:56And that, that's where the magic always comes from.
12:58Instead of that.
12:59Okay.
12:59If we go.
13:03You know, like if we do this melody, but no, just like the track was going on.
13:07And I, you know, and it just, it is an earworm.
13:14And that's, that's the song I'm playing on that guitar right there behind me.
13:18And you look like you're having the time of your life.
13:20Oh yeah.
13:20Tell me what was like inspiration for the song.
13:22Was this like a title that you'd had in your phone or who brought that to the right?
13:25I had the title, obviously a twist on worth your while.
13:28And I was like, well, worth your while, bro.
13:30That's sick.
13:31Was that one of those ones that you were like, somebody had to have done this?
13:34Like I would, that would be me all the time.
13:35I'd be like, somebody must've had that idea already.
13:37Yeah.
13:38I hope this song is big.
13:40Maybe one day, but like, I really love this song and like energy and like people have told
13:46me, they're like, dude, happened to me.
13:47Great.
13:48Cool.
13:48But like worth your while is my.
13:50Yeah.
13:51And I think it's a fantastic followup to this like huge moment that happened to me had like
13:56that's hard to like, I'm sure that you were probably freaking out when it came to picking
14:00the next single.
14:00Cause everybody always is after a big song like that.
14:03But this is the perfect followup for that.
14:05Like the energy matches it.
14:07Like I feel like sometimes people are like, Oh, you can't do too much uptempo in a row.
14:10And then you've got to do something.
14:11So it's like, no, bro.
14:13You can't, you can do too many ballads in a row.
14:15That is very true.
14:17You definitely can do that, but not too many up tempos.
14:19And you please don't ever, a summer ballad is so hard.
14:22Oh, I know.
14:22Yeah.
14:23Yeah.
14:24So thank God we got worth your wild.
14:25Perfect.
14:26I think, I think summertime is really going to kick it into gear.
14:29Yeah.
14:30You know, cause it was, it was out around like, it was out before Christmas, you know?
14:34Well, the record came out in August.
14:36Boating season is going to give that song a.
14:38Worth your wild boat.
14:40I know.
14:40That's what I'm saying.
14:41Yeah.
14:41The worth your wild EP is the perfect boat, beach, whatever other B you want to insert
14:48here.
14:50And then let's talk about tour.
14:52WrestleMania.
14:53Oh yeah.
14:54Here we go.
14:56My favorite thing in the world.
14:57This is, I want you to talk about, cause this is like, these are going to be big venues.
15:01These are like some of the biggest shows you've ever played on tour this year.
15:05Oh, tell me like, what does that mean?
15:08What, like, what?
15:08Oh, Red Rocks.
15:10Like what else?
15:10Red Rocks.
15:11Uh, the Greek in LA, uh, Ascend, Nashville.
15:17Um, what else we got?
15:20There's a, there's like a brand.
15:21We're like the first country artists to hit Grand Rapids.
15:25This huge new amphitheater that they just opened.
15:27Yeah.
15:28So massive, like 50,000.
15:30No, I'm just kidding.
15:31Um, that was just, it was like, yeah, huge.
15:34No, but like, these are big shows.
15:37This is going to be really fun.
15:38It is crazy, but, uh, it, I, I kind of, how to, how I put it in words is like
15:44my, my dreams,
15:47like what I've dreamed for so long is finally matching up with reality.
15:51Like when I look out into a crowd, you know, like, especially like we do like put your cell
15:55phone lights up on yours.
15:56And it just like, that was a song that started it all for me.
15:59And to see seven, eight, however many thousand people that bought a ticket to see Russell
16:07Dickerson, you know what I mean?
16:07Like it gets me, it gets me, it gets me email.
16:10I have chills for you.
16:11Cause like, I feel like that's such a profound thing that I think I can also relate to that.
16:15Like your dreams are catching up with like what's actually happening.
16:18Cause so long you're like, Oh my God, I feel like I'm like dragging this thing behind me.
16:22Totally.
16:22And like, what an incredible feeling.
16:24Yeah.
16:24Like I'll never forget going to Keith Urban.
16:27That was like one of the, cause like, like last tickets that I like bought before I was
16:33in the industry.
16:34I still buy tickets, but like that one that I had no connections, no nothing straight up
16:39bought a ticket to Keith Urban.
16:41And I was way up on the third level and just like this, like, this is it.
16:49An arena full of people screaming, singing, dancing, having the time of their life.
16:55Everybody leaving just absolutely elated.
16:58You know what I mean?
16:59The energy to Keith's show too is so much fun.
17:02Yes.
17:02I feel like why, why have you guys not done something?
17:04Like why is, is he playing?
17:05I don't know.
17:06We just did in Europe.
17:07We opened for him in Europe.
17:08Which is so fun.
17:09But even if he's just like plays on a record for you, I feel like, that's, that's gotta
17:13happen.
17:14I know.
17:14I just get, I get so in record mode and I don't even think about like, I should, I
17:20guess.
17:21Like make the ask.
17:21Right.
17:22Probably.
17:22Or like, you know what I mean?
17:23Yeah.
17:23And maybe I, maybe I just have.
17:25Cause even just having him play on something like he does that for people all the time.
17:28I think.
17:28Yeah.
17:29Like he's got the new studio too.
17:31Let's see what happens with that.
17:33Um, wait, so talk to me now.
17:34Like what other new music are you working on?
17:36Like you said, you were working on this album.
17:39I'm always working on an album.
17:40You know?
17:41Uh, and I like, I really, I mean, we put out an album in August.
17:45Yeah.
17:46No, I know.
17:46That's the thing.
17:46It's like, you guys never really stop.
17:48So like famous back home came out in August and I'm already like, I'm just chomping at
17:52the bit.
17:53You and TR are so similar like that.
17:54Like he, like you're like, I'm like, I can't, why do I even ask you about the current
17:57song?
17:57Cause I know you've got like a hundred more like.
17:59Worth your who?
18:00Yeah.
18:00No.
18:01Next album.
18:01On to the next.
18:03Um, Oh wait, one thing I did want to ask you about tour.
18:05Is there anything that you get to do on this tour that you've always wanted to do?
18:08I know you said like everything's lining up, but was there any like production stuff that
18:10you got to add that you felt really excited about?
18:12I mean, walking into rehearsals first of all, just in general, walking into rehearsals, like
18:19I walked in and for the first time I was like, yes, overwhelmed.
18:24Holy cow.
18:24This is amazing.
18:25Right.
18:25Which is always cool to see.
18:27But I was, I literally got like, I started like sweating.
18:30I was like, can we afford this?
18:33Like, cause for the first, like I said, for the first time, like my dreams are matching
18:38up with reality and I've always dreamed of, you know, I mean, dude, the video wall is
18:42like five stories tall and then the lighting goes up even like 30 feet past that.
18:48You know what I'm saying?
18:48I'm like, how are we, are you sure?
18:50Like, did we talk this budget through or did everything just get just approved?
18:55Like I'm a little scared and they're like, no, dude, we're good.
18:58Yeah.
18:58That is awesome.
18:59Yeah.
18:59Like taking out like three semi trucks, which is insane.
19:03With your face on the side?
19:05Well.
19:05Maybe.
19:06No.
19:07Yes.
19:07We're doing it.
19:08We can AI it on there.
19:09Just for you.
19:09WrestleMania.
19:10But yeah.
19:11So like, that's, that's just the production in general.
19:14I walked in and I was just like, are we sure?
19:16Are we good?
19:17Cause this is insane.
19:18And they're like, yeah, we're good.
19:20I was like, holy crap.
19:22I can't wait to see this.
19:23It's going to be so much fun.
19:25I got to talk to Thomas right about this the other day.
19:27Cause he was out at the Brandon Lake writers camp that you guys all did.
19:32And you were also there.
19:34Tell me about that.
19:34I'm like, I was like, I have never been so excited to see like what comes out of a camp
19:38as I am for like, what comes out of that.
19:40Uh, well we had already been, I think we had already been working on a couple of songs
19:44together anyways.
19:45And so he, he invited, he invited me.
19:48He was like, let's finish that song.
19:49You know, let's write more.
19:51And it was just, it was awesome.
19:53Cause like he was different with him as he invited, he had an artist in every room.
20:00Oh, wow.
20:01Which is, which isn't typical for like a, like I did one that camp inspired me so much.
20:05I was like, yeah, we're doing it the same place.
20:07We're bringing, you know, we're doing the same vibes, but, uh, yeah, he had like, I
20:15think the night I was there was like Nick Jonas was in the basement writing songs.
20:20I know.
20:20No, no, no, which we had, our song happened to me was out.
20:24And then we were just like, we got to share that moment together.
20:27It was beautiful.
20:27So fun.
20:28We ate dinner together, talked, talked about life, everything, talked about aliens.
20:33Really?
20:34Yeah.
20:34Are you in on aliens?
20:35Sure.
20:36Yeah.
20:36I mean, same.
20:37I feel like it's like, duh.
20:39At this point.
20:41Um, anyway, so like Nick was down there.
20:43Bailey Zimmerman was up in the, the upstairs room.
20:46We were in the main studio and it's just like Shay was there who, I mean, Dan and Shay
20:52talked about, they were like, it was the most insanely creative, like days of our lives.
20:55Like they loved it.
20:56It was so sick.
20:57Like, so that is a lot of creativity running through one.
21:00It is.
21:01And that's like, and I feel like in Nashville, we get very kind of nine to five with songwriting
21:06and this was so cool.
21:08And I did, we did that.
21:09I did it.
21:10I was like, no, we're renting out the studio.
21:12We're going to have this room here.
21:14I want these writers here, you know?
21:16And I mean, we got almost 30 songs in four days.
21:21That's wild.
21:23Bangers too.
21:24You know what I'm saying?
21:25And it's like, once it's different than just like, all right, well, I'm going to try to
21:29make it home before I got to stop by Trader Joe's on the way home.
21:32You know what I'm saying?
21:33Like you're not, you're not in the mind space then.
21:36But if you're just like, cause I didn't leave, I slept there.
21:39Like I didn't go home, any of that.
21:42I just slept there and like stayed in the, stayed in the vibe.
21:47It was amazing.
21:48I love that.
21:48Thank you for coming in.
21:49It's always so good to see you.
21:51I'm very excited to spend time with you and the family over the next couple of days.
21:53Can't wait.
21:54We'll just be enjoying resort life.
21:56We will.
21:56Together.
21:57Together.
